1) Have been using MPCM for a couple of weeks now - great app. One of the machines I was monitoring had a disk crash. I've replaced it, but can't seem to get rid of that machine in my list of monitored machines ... please don't tell me I need to rebuild the machine, to uninstall the software to remove it from the list. 2) Even when I am not running the (Windows) Phone app, it seems to be polling the servers. Is this correct ? Is it continually running in the background ? Can this be disabled, or modified ? I don't want to be racking up data charges all the time ....

I have been running pulseway/pc monitor for a few years. Recently the service stopped running. I tried a full re-install but it did no work. I try to start the service through the manager - it shows it starts, then a minute or so later shows its off. I have attached the tracelog. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey guys, I'm sure you guys a swamped with the v6 release, I'm sure it will be one of the biggest leaps forward ever. I'm holding off on onboarding a new client to Pulseway because I don't want to do it twice. Any rough idea about when the release will come out? Is there a beta or RTM version available? It would be awesome if the email parser went a little deeper. Sometimes a client emails us directly and we forward that email to Pulseway to open a ticket. The problem with this is that it opens the ticket using our company as the client. It would be great if we could get the parser to look in the email headers to find the address that the email originated from and use THAT to assign and client and user to the ticket. There are other ticket systems that do this. Alternatively (though not as elegant), It would also work to put a flag in the subject line like "@CLIENTNAME" to get the email assigned to the client. Hi All New here, just discovered PC Monitor after years of messing around using several different monitoring solutions to look after 25-30 servers. So far I'm dead impressed with this software and it's associated applications I have a couple of questions 1. When using the desktop monitor application the only way I can get the servers to return to green after a notification is to delete the notification, does the software store a history or log of all the error messages on a particular server, or can I get the server to return to green as soon as the message is read without deleting, this also applies in the Android app. 2. Dear All, I'm having some trouble trying to run Windows Powershell commands via PC Monitor (Android App). When I send any command, I get back the following message: "An error occurred when loading the system Windows PowerShell Snap-Ins. Please contact Microsoft Support Services." Noticed this on a couple of servers but after a restart the pcmonitor service doesn't start. I've double and triple checked that the service is set to automatic start and restart on any failures but still the service doesn't start. Has anyone else had this experience?

I have just tried to use the new Remote Desktop client on Windows 8.1. I am at a location which means I am behind a proxy server (MS TMG). I have entered the correct proxy server details into the Settings dialog, but always get "An unknown connection error occurred". I have tried installing the TMG client but that didnt help. Hi there, I have installed Pulseway on 2 PC's and according to my subscription page. I get 2 free licences. I was using Pulseway quite successfully last night till I received an email saying I had reached the Notification limit and to remove this limitation I should consider getting a subscription. I have logged on today to try and purchase a subscription for 2 licences as luckily that is all I need at this stage but due to it saying the first 2 agents are free I can't purchase a full subscription for just 2 licences How can I get unlimited notification for my 2 free licences?

Guys WTF is this. I specifically use pulseway to help automate solutions and fixes based on rules and now its not supported? What release was this removed? No wounder why i see such a influx of ticket now... Why is this function removed? I will gladly removed my subscription if this is the case

I just installed PC Monitor on a Windows XP SP3 PC (nothing special about it - fully up to date). All I get is "unknown connection error" when trying to access it using iPhone 3Gs. Is there some Port Forwarding I should be doing? There is no Firewall blocking, or AV software. Thanks for any/all help.

On one of my machines, an SBS 2008 box, PCMonitorSrv.exe (2.4.1) takes about 30% CPU, while a SVCHOST.EXE instance that appears to be related to it takes about 20%. The SVCHOST instance stops with the PCMonitorSvc, so I'm assuming they're related. When the service is started, it runs 0-5% for anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours; then jumps to 50% (total of the 2 services). To my knowledge, this is the only machine (of 10 so far) that does this; at least it's the only one I've noticed. I'm in the process of adding a "Service" Notification on the other 9 to alert me if the service uses > 10% CPU for > 3 minutes to see how widespread it is. I've restart…

Hello, I've just started using this software and think it's great and it will save me a lot of time, especially for installing Windows Updates. It works great for installing critical & important updates. We run Windows 7 Pro on all of our computers and I was wondering if there is a way to install the optional windows updates as well? Just got a computer in that had not chimed in in over 109 days. Then noticed the user had uninstall PC Monitor. Is there a way for me to password protect the uninstaller? Another question. If a computer is not on the internet and they install or uninstall software will I get the notifications once the computer comes online? Is there a way to have the webcam take an image when a pease of software is installed or uninstalled. We have field computers that are used by many differnt users finding out what user keeps installing software is becoming a problem.

First off, hats off to the developer(s) who have created such a useful product for administrators of small home networks. It's top notch in usefulness, honestly. To me, PC Monitor and Teamviewer are the two software godsends of my home network. My issue is this. I have about 6-7 clients that I would like to monitor, ideally. Currently, I only monitor the 5 most important because that's where the free ride ends. Five clients is all you can monitor for free, which, honestly, is generous imo. The problem starts here. Is there a way to get any sort notification if the server running PC Monitor loses its Internet connection? Obviously this would need to be generated outside of the server I am monitoring.

I hope that this will be a simple question to resolve. I need to enable repeat notifications that are sent to my phone. If i miss a notification and i may never know it is there if i dont get follow up notifications. How do i set this up to allow repeat notifications that are sent to my phone app?

Hello, I have installed Pulseway on various PCs, but several of them will show offline randomly even when I know a user is on them. Currently I have 4 machines showing offline when I know someone is using them right now. They might show online for a few hours, then show offline for a few hours.
