I was just wondering how other people deal with the second Tuesday of the month. I am currently monitoring almost 200 Windows systems with "Send notification when critical or important updates are available" enabled. This means every second Tuesday I get about 200 notifications! Overall, I like receiving these notifications, but it can be a little overwhelming when Microsoft releases updates! Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Good morning from the Netherlands I'm sorry if this was discussed before or even implemented. Im rather new whit Pulseway but i have a question about scheduling Windows updates. So far if been monitoring our computers and manualy starting the updates, but for some of our costumers who work in the train or in other location where there isnt a steady internet connection. And i would like to have a option that i can start that if they connect to a internet connection the updates will automaticly start to download/install. once again if this is already discussed somewhere im sorry. Thanks in advance. Michael Holstein

Hi Could someone assist in helping me to set up an alert when a network connection is dropped. This is happening at one of my client sites after changing to a new ISP. The ISP says the router/switch is fine but connections are dropping. I would like to be able to log when a connection drops (ideally knowing if the internet connection has dropped or just the internal network connection) I'm not sure a simple ping notification is good enouh in Pulseway to do this as I need to know if the connection has dropped for a few mseconds as well as larger outages. I guess the Event Viewer holds the answers but would appreciate it if anyone has done this befo…

Last month a vulnerability was revealed in SQLite. It can be read about here: https://blog.trailofbits.com/2022/10/25/sqlite-vulnerability-july-2022-library-api/ Just curious if the version Pulseway uses is vulnerable, as I see Pulseway does use SQLite? If so is there any communication on when it is expected to get fixed?

I understand from elsewhere in forum that you limit a notification to not repeating for the same event until the first one is read and cleared Is there any way to control this at all ? I'm looking at setting up a filtered event notification to see if nightly backups have completed OK / not (i.e. I want a success notification as well as just a failure notification) I can see that not being swamped by events is a good idea - but as I understand it that means if I haven't cleared last nights successful backup event I won't get tonights. Ideally I'd like to be able to set the interval (e.g. don't send the same event within an hour or 12 hours if not cleared etc)…

I have Webroot on most of my servers and workstations. Recently I have noticed a discrepancy in the WRSA process usage. If I look at the process in Pulseway, it will show the usage to be a lot higher than the process view on the device. Example: Pulseway will show webroot is using 1140 mb and on the device it shows 36 mb. I can kill the process in Pulseway and it then will mirror the device fora short time before it returns to the discrepancy. Has anyone noticed this?

Hi all! I've found this great service and i've configured on my server for some tests. I've made some changes on config.xml in order to add more services and ports and also disable the shutdown and the power off options. At the moment I have disabled the shutdown option (via config.xml) but not the other one. This is the portion of code: <AllowedCommands> <Restart Allowed="true" /> <ShutDown Allowed="false" /> <PowerOff Allowed="false" /> <Suspend Allowed="false" /> <Hibernate Allowed="false" /> </AllowedCommands> Server is a machine running Ubuntu 14.04 x64, Client is a Windows Phone 8.1 Even if it's a…

Hi, We install RMM agents to all systems from one account, and then share the systems to other accounts to manage who manages what. The Patch Management "Agent Status" only works for the user who installs the agent. BUT, creating policies can be done by anyone. And the Policies are shared between all users. Is there a reason only the person who installed the agent can apply Patch Management via the Agent Status link? Also...The "Patch Policy" link on the Android App does not show up unless you are the person who installed the RMM on the client system. But all other features are there. I'm thinking a little more work is needed on this so all tec…

It seems as though, if I onboard a system that takes my total over my existing Pulseway license count, the new system does not appear anywhere in Pulseway. The new system will only appear if we upgrade the license count. There is no notification that there are systems pending a license. No alert, or error message to tell a user what they need to do. The Pulseway Manager indicates the new system is registered correctly and, again, gives no indication that anything is wrong or that a license is needed. Is this working as intended? If not, what am I doing wrong? If so, could you fix it? It's completely daft.

Hi all, I am having trouble getting MPM to work through AVG. I have added PM program(s) to accepted list of programs for firewall. I have also added these IP's : 69.39.237.16 and 69.65.39.32 but to no avail. (found on this post: http://forum.pulseway.com/topic/538-firewall-config/) The only time i can connect is if i disable AVG firewall or allow all connections through the firewall (which obviously isn't safe ) I have searched this forum and online (AVG's website) to see if anyone had, had issues with setting up MPM but i could not find anything. I was wondering if two things could happen. [1] Get a solution to my problem. maybe i need to a…

First time needing to do this, but we have sensitive data in the portal we want removed I do not see any obvious way to clear archived notifications from our portal, would have thought this would be under Server Admin Settings. @Paul assuming I'm missing something obvious here?

Hi there, Is there a way to monitor your anti-virus installations on your servers with the new update? I know it was mentioned but I not sure if it is something I need to activate or if I should rather just install that plugin.

Hi, Just started looking at the scripts in Pulseway. I can't see any way to make Pulseway automatically run a script when a certain notification or event happens. Is this possible? EG: a client can't get a static IP address on one of their internet connections so we use a dynamic DNS service. We have Pulseway set up to notify us when the public IP address changes on that connection, and then we have to jump onto that machine and manually run a script to update the dynamic DNS record with the new IP. Would like to have Pulseway do this automatically when the IP address changes. I know you can schedule a task to run it but it needs to happ…

Hi there, Please stop me if I am wrong, but does your licensing mean I have to buy 5 licenses for ~$50 if I want to go pro for my home 2008 R2 server? I'd love to monitor all my services on my server, but can't justify the money when I can't use the full license. Surely charging $15 for one license would be more sensible? Thanks.

Hello Everyone, We had a downtime yesterday, here is what happened, and how we are trying to avoid it moving forward. On November 2nd, we've received notifications that the database cluster has crashed and upon further investigation we've determined that the iSCSI storage was unresponsive. After reaching out to the hosting provider we've found out that they have experienced multiple drive failures on the SAN and that the disk got locked during the array rebuild process. They managed to get it unlocked but because the array was still rebuilding and operating at a lower I/O capacity, turning on the database cluster resulted in the disk locking again resulting…

Hi Guys, I though I would begin to write a couple of post on how I manage certain things in Pulseway. I love Pulseway it is a good product so far but some features are lacking and those scripts makes life way easier, at least for me. If you find that post helpful let me know and I will post more of my scripts on how I manage stuff. You are also more then welcome to let me know how you do it or any amelioration suggestions. Disclaimer : I am not a programmer at all so bare whit me on the coding part LOL To name computers I though it was essential that I could put a description in it so I made a custom field noteinname for Per Systems. So when…
