  1. Hi I have pc monitor running on mac min os x (8g) and have noticed started to run bit slower .. In Activity Monitor it is shows Process Name "com.mobilepcmonitor.PCMonitorHelper" and Real Mem shows running at 2.47GB therefore taking up most of my memory as other apps are using smaller apps. That I can see I also have pc monitor running on a 4g ram windows pc and all ok. I have shut down and restarted the application on the mac but the memory just goes back up. If any one can advise or if they have same issue please let me know Many Thanks

  2. When a new ticket is opened via email, the sender receives two confirmation emails. They are duplicates.

  3. At startup both daemon & agent are shown to be running. In Activity Monitor the PCMonitorAgent process is highlighted red and shown to be not responding (consistently after system startup) The only fix on my system is to first quit the process and then: NOTE: after quitting the process the agent is still shown to be running in the menu bar drop-down. - restart the process using: launchctl start PCMonitorAgent After these steps the agent starts and runs without reporting as not responding until the system is restarted. I have not come across any undesired effects from this process running or not; can still access the machine via my devices, for example, and all…

Hello, I have two Windows 2008 R2 machines. Which the BackupExec Remote Agent installed. On both of these machines is the PcMonitor Agent installed (Version v4.0, 4989). I try to monitor the service (with System|Services) but I get no notification if the service is stopped. The service name is "Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers" (BackupExecAgentAccelerator). This looks like a bug for me. Other service monitoring is working. Thanks for your help. Regards, Thorsten

  5. I'm having issues with pcmonitor on and older vps running Debian squeeze. I've found that running it through valgrind keeps it stable. (No "SOAP" errors or "pcmonitor: double free or corruption (!free) 0x-blah..." errors) For eg: valgrind pcmonitord -v Optionally dumping output to /dev/null: valgrind pcmonitord -v > /dev/null & Im unsure why it continues to run through valgrind happily while it wont run solo, but it its been running for about an hour through valgrind with no issues. Install valgrind on Debian/Ubuntu: apt-get install valgrind If someone out there is having the same issue, and doesnt mind a hack-job rig, maybe this can help.

  9. Started by Matt,

I have just noticed that PSA tickets are not automatically created for certain notifications from Pulseway. After a brief examination, it appears it may have to do with the length of the notification. For example, I never receive "free memory" or "CPU usage" notifications, which are quite long. I also do not receive "new application" notifications if a large number of applications have been installed or uninstalled. Fortunately, these tickets are somewhat infrequent, so manually checking and clearing these notifications in Pulseway is possible, but I thought you guys would want to know. Thanks for all your great work! Matt

  10. Hello, since some days my hard disk drives don't spin down anymore while not in use. I tracked the problem down with process monitor and found out that the PCMonitor Service is accessing the drives every minute through the WMI Provider Host Service (wmiprvse.exe). I disabled in Pulseway the storage notification of local disk space on all drives but it did not help. As soon as I disable the Puleway service, the disks spin down after the configured laps of time as they should do. I'am using Pulseway since some years, but the problem occured recently and was not there before. Thanks for your help. Michael

  13. Scenario: 1) My device is set to have read-only access to the monitored computer (not sure if this matters) 2) I have the Windows Updates "feature" ENABLED on the monitored computer 3) I have notifications for critical/important updates DISABLED on the monitored computer. Under this setup, when I attempt to list the pending windows updates for the computer on my device (Android, if that matters) the list is always empty. Only when I actually enable the notifications for updates are they shown. I want to be able to see the pending windows updates for a subset of my computers without actually being notified about them (they are critical systems that can only h…

  15. Since my client agent version update to 4.8.4 I have not been able to view Windows Updates in different apps. I have Android and Windows for the monitoring and I've even tried the web application. I have mixed environments with Windows 7, 8 and 10 and the issue exists for them all. It may not be version 4.8.4 that is the issue. Could be a Windows Update that caused the issue. I keep most of my systems completely up to date including all optional updates. Any help will be appreciated.

  16. Hello, today I was installing the pulseway on my homeserver. Honewer, the cpu load gives wrong cpu load information, this display only 1% alltime. 17. Started by Gary Haberl,

Hi all, New to Pulseway, and I am looking at the "Sample: Executive for All Systems" report. The image below shows the Disk Drive Usage for a server. The E: drive on the server is a 2TB drive with very little on it. (1% used). The way the report reads is 1%(1.98TB Free). Should this read 99%(1.98TB Free)? Why are we showing used space in % and Free in GB/TB together? If it shows both used and free space, the numbers should be formatted the same. Report bug? Gary

  18. Started by 10G,

I sometimes work behind an auth proxy. Sometimes I forget to select the proxy option in Remote Desktop before I attempt to log in. Next time I try and log in, after setting the proxy settings, it never logs in. I start task manager and kill the pulseway processes, but it makes no difference. The error is the 407 proxy requires authentication error. Curiously, if I start the Dashboard, it works fine.

  19. When trying to connect to a system (Server 2016 in this case) that has a disconnected MS RDP session in disconnected state, and one tries to connect to the console session, the connection get established but after one type in the password it comes up with the attached error and disconnects. This appears to then log off the disconnected session and the second attempt goes through successfully. Is this a bug or by design? If by design maybe a feature request can be posted to disconnect a user session from the User Sessions window, before one click on "Start Remote Desktop"

  21. Started by Gary Haberl,

Since the new update 4.0.11.1, the time sheet rounding feature is not working. We bill everything on a 15Min interval. It used to be when I approve time, I just click on an entry that is not in a multiple of 15 Min, and the program would round up the number to the next 15Min for me. This no longer works. (I have double checked the setting Admin...Company settings...Time Sheet...Round and it is still set. Is anyone else seeing the time sheet time rounding issue?

  22. Started by Matt,

For about the past three and a half hours, new alerts from Pulseway have not created tickets in the PSA system.

  23. Thank you very much for adding network monitoring to the linux agent, I love being able to see status for all my machines regardless of OS! I did see one item that I wanted to report as a potential bug though. When you click on Network (iPhone app) for a Linux machine, the network Receiving and Sending is displayed as Kb/s (kilobits per second) but when you click on the interface, the graph reports (correctly I believe) as KB/s (kilobytes per second). Please see attached screenshots. My OSX and Windows servers report/display the information properly, it is only my Linux machines with the new agent where I am seeing this. Thanks, Brian

Hello Forum, i want to configure a Rule without a notification. Apparently this is not possible, as i can uncheck the checkbox for "Send a notification with priority...", but after the save, the box is checked again. Is this a bug? Greetings Markus

  25. Hi, It's not an alarming bug but but annoying non the less. When I start the Dashboard (minimized) from the 'Startup' directory in Windows then when I shutdown the PC the Dashboard prevents the shutdown because it does not terminate. I then either have to 'Force shutdown' or 'Cancel shutdown' and terminate the Dashboard manually. Regards Paul
