Yeah.. After 2h or something i get a notfication that the computer is offline (its on hibernate) dont know IF that's a bug or IF it should be so.

PC Monitor agent 2.5 beta 5 I have an Event Log monitor that notifies me if it finds an Application event from source "Backup" of level "Error". There are a few in the log, the last occuring 30 Sep 2011. However, PC Monitor has sent me 3-4 Notifications AFTER that last event. The latest bogus notification was at 2:07AM this morning, and I realized from the Notification details that it was actually reporting an Event that occured 6 Sep 2011; currently, the first such event in the log. I did not record which Events the prior Notifications were reporting, but I do know there were no Events coincident with the Notifications.

Hi there, This is usability issue that leaves Pulseway's surveillance under high suspicion. We work exclusively in Windows servers. My colleague has installed last week a new Pulseway Agent over a server of a new client and he forgot to report this so that I could increase the number of licences resulting that since last week a Pulseway agent from another client's backup server stopped communicating and so we where not aware that backup needed troubleshooting. Hello We have a dedicated controller at Pulseway. We have a couple of Windows Servers but one has showed itself as offline since yesterday. The Windows Server itself is up and running fine and the Pulseway service is running. I have tried this: Restart Pulseway Service (No problems) Unregister and Reregister System (Working Fine) Rebooted the server Communicationtest "telnet xxxx.pulseway.com 443" answering like it should Uninstalled Pulseway and removed the registry key "ComputerIdentifier" then reinstalled Uninstalled Pulseway again and removed the whole Hive "MMSOFT Design" from registry and reinstalled Pulseway. Hello. I tried to use the terminal to open a program on my pc with no luck so i created a task in task schedule to run to open it. When using the app I go into the schedule tasks and click run yet the program will still not open (not even in the background) The state always says queued if that helps. Any help would be appreciated. Note: The task schedule seemed to work on my other computer ok (terminal still would not open a program) Looked to delete this since it works on one but can not see the option.

When capturing screen on both my installed computers it only gives me a partial screen. Like top left corner and part of screen? installed on a win 10 and a win 11 machine. On the win 10 machine it’s under 50% of the screen that’s captured, on the win 11 it’s like 75%. is it an installation issue or a setting I’m not aware of?

I'm having issues retrieving my password from the website. I know that I'm using the correct username and e-mail because I was able to retrieve my username using my e-mail address. However, when I enter my e-mail and username to retrieve my password it gives me the following error: "Please resolve the following errors Invalid account (1013)." Like I said, I know the account is active because I was able to use my e-mail address to retrieve my username. Any thoughts?

The title/header in the notification for automatic reboot genereated by the patch managments settings looks off. If the entire prompt could be more descriptive and say how many updates have been installed, must be restarted before <end date & time>. "You need to restart your computer. Your computer have been updated according to the company patch policy and needs to be restarted before to complete the updates. (3) Updates installed, choose to restart the computer now or schedule it for a later. Restart will automatically be done <date & time> if not performed earlier." It seems as though the option of reboot if required under patch policies is not working correctly. There are instances where the service installs a patch or a 3rd party update to a product that I know for sure does not require a reboot but the machine will still reboot. Also, is there a way to split out the 3rd party patching from the windows updates? We have users that miss patching windows and it forces their machine to reboot multiple times. One for windows updates and another for 3rd party even though it is not required. Why would the system not install both windows updates and 3rd party patching if both are needed and then do 1 reboot IF REQUIRED?

Hello, today we've noticed that on our Server 2016 OS machines we can't use the Windows Update GUI to Search for or Install Updates. Controlling it with USOCLIENT startscan & USOCLIENT startinstall works as expected but the Button to Search for new and Install pending Updates is greyed out. After a bit of testing (blocking our GPO, removing the Pulseway Patch Policy, Resetting Windows Update) it seems that Pulseway sets Registry Keys that interfere with either our (GPO) settings or sets invalid values which in turn lead to an unusable Windows Update GUI. Server 2019 & 2022 work fine with GPO + Pulseway Patch Policy applied. Next Screenshot…

Hi I have pc monitor running on mac min os x (8g) and have noticed started to run bit slower .. In Activity Monitor it is shows Process Name "com.mobilepcmonitor.PCMonitorHelper" and Real Mem shows running at 2.47GB therefore taking up most of my memory as other apps are using smaller apps. That I can see I also have pc monitor running on a 4g ram windows pc and all ok. I have shut down and restarted the application on the mac but the memory just goes back up. If any one can advise or if they have same issue please let me know Many Thanks

Hi I think there's a bug in PC monitor for Linux which means that it cannot wake other machines up using Wake On Lan. Any requests it processes fail with an error in pcmonitor.log: 03/11/2011 12:56:20.000424 - ERROR - Invalid mac received. Do you know if it's possible to get this working? I'm running PC Monitor and all is well. Except for the fact that it seems to be locking files at OS level. Mainly when I'm running my VirtualBox image with a raw disk I get the following error: Failed to open image: '<filename>' for writing due to wrong permissions (ERR_VD_IMAGE_READ_ONLY). I have found that disabling the PC Monitor service will let me start the VirtualBox image correctly. I have tried this several times. Therefore I can only conclude that PC Monitor is blocking the write mode. However I'm not sure whether it is the vmdk file or the physical disk itself that is locked by PC Monitor. I'm suspecting the physical drive since creating the …

I run into an issue with one of my PC's no longer being able to run the PC Monitor Service. It seems to have started approx. 30 days ago. I've since uninstalled PC Monitor, rebooted and reinstalled with the same result. The service will start, but will stop itself 10 secs later. Anyone know what may be stopping the service? I've logged into the PC Monitor Manager and made sure it was connected.

I have a Windows computer in my closet that serves up a Plex media server. For months I have been able to use PC monitor to wake and sleep the computer without incident. Within the last week, The iOS app will not sleep the computer. What is strange is the only think I have to do is remote desktop in to the computer. Then I can tap "Suspend" in the ios app and the computer sleeps. This doesn't make any sense. It's not like I have to restart the service. These are the exact steps. I'm having issues with pcmonitor on and older vps running Debian squeeze. I've found that running it through valgrind keeps it stable. (No "SOAP" errors or "pcmonitor: double free or corruption (!free) 0x-blah..." errors) For eg: valgrind pcmonitord -v Optionally dumping output to /dev/null: valgrind pcmonitord -v > /dev/null & Im unsure why it continues to run through valgrind happily while it wont run solo, but it its been running for about an hour through valgrind with no issues. Install valgrind on Debian/Ubuntu: apt-get install valgrind If someone out there is having the same issue, and doesnt mind a hack-job rig, maybe this can help.

At startup both daemon & agent are shown to be running. In Activity Monitor the PCMonitorAgent process is highlighted red and shown to be not responding (consistently after system startup) The only fix on my system is to first quit the process and then: NOTE: after quitting the process the agent is still shown to be running in the menu bar drop-down. - restart the process using: launchctl start PCMonitorAgent After these steps the agent starts and runs without reporting as not responding until the system is restarted. Dear Professional: Pulseway Version 4.75 (build 5) On one machine, Pulseway PCMonitorSrv.exe runs 40 to 50% CPU usage for maybe 80% of the time in a kind of cyclic fashion ... not always at 50%, sometimes at 5%. One single machine exhibits this behavior for about 5 or 6 months now. The machine (and others) have been running PCMonitor/Pulseway successfully since the beginning. Several machines (clients & servers) have run fine for years. Ordinarily, I would kill process tree and move on in the hope that the bug or issue would be corrected in a release wave. PCMonitorSrv.exe is cleaned up by AV because it detected as virus and the pulseway service cannot be started. So the server appears offline on the dashboard. Can advise how to reinstall the PCMonitorSrv.exe back? Help is much appreciated

Scenario: 1) My device is set to have read-only access to the monitored computer (not sure if this matters) 2) I have the Windows Updates "feature" ENABLED on the monitored computer 3) I have notifications for critical/important updates DISABLED on the monitored computer. I added a "round trip ping time" to one of my machines, with ping time to the gateway of our remote office. I am going to do the same to other offices, and therefore monitor the latency to remote offices. The iOS app and WebApp should show where is that round trip time to: It is not shown in devices main screen or in the graph. That additional information would be great! Thanks!
