Hi all, I'm trialling pulseway on the Free plan - I only have 2 machines I want to manage, but remote desktop is the killer feature for me replacing LogMeIn. I know I need a paid plan for remote desktop, but in the case of 2 machines, do I simply add another workstation (to give me 3, which will be fine) which moves me to a paid sub under the "Pro" plan? On the website, there's Free/Starter/Team plans, but no mention of "Pro". Is that the same as the starter feature set? Cheers, S.

Hi all, I recently did a clean upgrade to Windows 10 on 2 WKSTs previously running Windows 7 with Pulseway installed. I am now at a loss as to how to re-add these units to my Pulseway instance. I see they are still showing up in the “Deployment Successful” tab under “Discovery & Deployment”. Is there a way to re-add these units without manually installing the Pulseway app on these WKSTs?

Hi All! I am excitedly coming to the end of a trial and about to commit to deploying Pulseway, so I hope I will be a regular contributor to this group. A niggling issue I am having is we have a number of devices with HostNames greater than 15 characters. When I install the agent, and it displays in the UI it is truncating any additional letters after the (NETBIOS compliant) 15 characters. Anyone else also experiencing this issue? Any guidance on how to work around it? Cheers Simon

I am very happy that Pulseway finally released a way to deploy Feature Updates. That being said, we don't use WSUS any longer, we only rely on the ability of the Pulseway Agent to download and apply updates according to the rules we have setup. I am just curious if anyone using the Windows update GPO to control any of the Windows Update features on workstations that have Pulseway installed? I guess, is there any need for it and if so, what do you like to control? Do any of you disable Windows Updates entirely on your workstations and only rely on Pulseway to manage updates?

After receiving a verification on my phone I get this nasty gram. So far: .Net 4.0 install was blocked because a later version was already installed. So I don't think it is a .net version issue. Any help would be appreciated. --Tim I blocked out the server name to keep it annonymous I blocked out the server name to keep it anonymous. Also, please ignore the localhost:8443 page. It is irrelevant as far as I know.

I believe this to be related to Microsoft no longer support Basic Authentication, however I'm unable to fix the issue. Our Email Parser in Service Desk is no longer able to connect and staying as Inactive. The email account/user is fine, and we can send to and from it through Outlook and external email services. I've run through the steps found here https://intercom.help/pulseway/en/articles/5488944-oauth2-0-for-microsoft-o365-with-psa-email-parser to enable OAuth 2.0, but I still get the same error: Any ideas?

Hi all, My goal is to create a Win32 package to deploy using Microsoft Intune that auto registers the computer. I've done this successfully with agent version 8. However, today I cannot get it to work with agent version 9. Despite contradicting help information out there that directs you to use Orca, the .MSI file that is generated contains the appropriate information to auto-register the agent. In the past I've converted the .MSI to .INTUNE, created the app in Endpoint Manager and assigned it with success. I'm working on doing this process again with agent version 9. I can get it to deploy with Intune, however auto-registration fails. My process is the same…

Hoping I can get some insight here, or may just submit an official support request. Someone in our org who is in a Help Desk position needs to get Pulseway Remote Control installed on their machine so they can connect to end user workstations for troubleshooting. I've installed this many times but for some reason this time it's complaining about the appdata folder being redirected. In specific we are seeing a can't access error on a path \\servername\users\username\appdata\\pulseway remote control I am wondering if that double backslash is the issue here. We have plenty of other things installed and require app data access and they al…

I am looking to use a probe to install the pulse way manager on a device. The device is found on the network by the probe, however the Remote Computer Administrator Credentials will not allow me to leave anything blank. The device i am looking to install the manager on does not have a password set for the administrator account. I can enter the account name, however it will not let me submit the deployment while the password field is empty. Is there something I should enter into the password field that will still work even though the target device does not have a password?

Hi, I am trying to install Pulseway on a Windows 2012 Server and I am getting the error above. There was a previous install which doesn't seem to have uninstalled properly. I'd appreciate some help on this... I have stopped all running Pulseway services - that I can identify but no luck. A second request: is there an uninstaller program available to completely remove a previous version of Pulseway?

Hi, I'm looking how I can manage the notifications from within the PulseWay WebApp and specifically where I can manage the notifications definitions as found on the agents. I would like to reduce for example the notifications send in case of available update and only would like a notification in case of critical update as defined in the example hereunder. But I can't seem to find the same configuration parameters in the WebApp. I tried to configure it via the Patch Management policies but we still get notifications for important updates. Any help would be appreciated :)

G'Day, I've just configured Wake on LAN for one of my machines and it is working well. I'm thinking of setting it up for another machine but I am wondering what port should be used. For the first machine I am using the default port 9 but what do I use for the second machine? I'm tempted to just try port 10 but I don't want to go using a port that I shouldn't be using. David.

Hi, I have just downloaded PC Monitor for my Windows 7 64bit PC. But I am getting the below error when I try to create and account. I have re-booted and turned off Kaspersky but I still get the error. Any help would be greatly appreciated. --------------------------- Error --------------------------- The server was unable to process the request due to an internal error. For more information about the error, either turn on IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults (either from ServiceBehaviorAttribute or from the <serviceDebug> configuration behavior) on the server in order to send the exception information back to the client, or turn on tracing as per the …

Hi, i am monitoring a dozen computers without any problems but recently i was trying to add brand new pc to the list but i keep having problems. I have successfully completed: installation of 64bit app to the pc (64bit win7 home premium) config import from the file. after this i am stuck. for some reason the settings that was imported did not take effect (settings contains username and pass but they are not being uploaded to the system either.) I have tried to login manually and get "successful validation" message, but when i press "acc details" or "registered computers" i am being requested password again (which is fine) but the issue is that it does not accept my pas…

I am monitoring a PC and a Windows 2008 server core. Both are in the same network and behind a firewall. The one who is up first shows up online in my mobile phone. For instance, if my pc is up, and the core starts up later, I can only manage my PC. When I shutdown my pc, I can monitor my core. If I start my pc, I cannot manage my pc, only my core server. So it seems i can have only run one PC Monitor behind my firewall. Can you help me with this?
