Hi, Is it possible to execute / run .msi files via the web or iphone app? I have a new machine with PC Monitor installed and now I need remote access to the machine. We use ScreenConnect and I have the .msi installer file on the remote PC but now need it to run to install it. This is a remote PC with no one at the site to run the installer fo rme. Is this possible? Thanks Chris

1) Have been using MPCM for a couple of weeks now - great app. One of the machines I was monitoring had a disk crash. I've replaced it, but can't seem to get rid of that machine in my list of monitored machines ... please don't tell me I need to rebuild the machine, to uninstall the software to remove it from the list. 2) Even when I am not running the (Windows) Phone app, it seems to be polling the servers. Is this correct ? Is it continually running in the background ? Can this be disabled, or modified ? I don't want to be racking up data charges all the time ....

Will it be possible to change a PC monitor configuration on one PC and push this out to all PC's in the same group?

Last night i setup my pc and my pc monitor android app to work over the internet and 3g. Last nite it worked flawlessly but this morning it would not wake up my home pc. I kept getting network offline error. I came home from work, booted up my pc and boom! it worked. Why is it inconsistent? I have port 9 udp forwared an im running windowd 7 ultimate with a netopia 3347-02 router/modem with att dsl. I am also using a dyndns static ip updater as well. Thanks for any help

Hi, Is anyone using pcmonitor for checking if webservers are alive, something like open this url and expect this string returned? I'd also like to know if anyone has a way of checking if an IP is blacklisted? Hey there! Love this software! Very useful! I'm using this to monitor my CPU temperatures because I am Folding @ Home. If the temps get to high, I turn my PC off. But I was wondering how can stop the software? What I mean is PC Monitor shows "The service is running" all the time. How can I turn it off? I don't need it when I am at home. The only way I found to stop it is to select "I don't have an account" and then "Apply" and then when I restart the program, it needs a login to start PC monitor up. Also, how often is my PC's information sent to the internet? Is it uploaded only when my mobile device wants the information, or is it uploaded each, I don't know, 10 …

Hello, I would like to be notified when a particular event is logged in the Windows Small Business Server/Operational log. However, when setting this up in PC Monitor, there is no check box to select this particular log. Am I doing something wrong? Or does PC Monitor just not recognize this particular log? Is there any way to do what I am trying to do? Any help will be appreciated. Rick

Hi, Love the app! But I don't get any hardware details. In the Open Hardware Monitor util, which I see you are using libraries from, all temp and fan speeds show up, but not in PCM. Could this be down to a system setting on my part, or are you not using the libraries to get to hardware details?

Hi, Ive been reading a few topics and seen that the free limit used to be up to 5 computers, I don't have much intention of having more but could do with being able to link up to all 5 is this possible to do with out having to buy a subscription every year? im not using them for business just personal use should that make any difference. How can I create custom groups and move servers into them? By the way just wanted you to know I have been able to accomplish server admin functions quicker using this tool than my own workstation. Just amazing what you have done! CP

I installed Pc Monitor (v2.7.1) on Win Server 2008 R2 with the hopes of being notified when a user logs in or out of our domain. What steps must i take to be notified of said condition ? Much Thanks btw Very Nice Product

Just installed PC Monitor today, great application, the only problem is that on our iPhone monitor CPU usage on the monitored computer is a constant 0, but we know this isn't true as our monitored computer shows different in task manager. Overall though, great app, found it out through Pop Science and would reccomend it to everyone!

Hi Guys, I just tried to install windows updates via my iphone app on one of my servers... How does this work? There's no one logged into the server... how does it perform the updates? What if the windows updates needs user intervention to get by some prompts??... How can I check on this? I"m logged into the server now (on the console) and i don't see any "Windows Updates" activity.... Please advise, thanks!

I have set up PCMonitor on 120 pcs, I used my IPAD as the the allowable device. I have need however to authorise another 2 ipads. Is there a quick way of doing of this? I have tried going to registered computers change settings, but cannot see it there? Any help greatly appreciated.
