Hi Marius, I'm loving this software day by day. The only thing that I find difficult is that when I need to change something in the configuration I need to operate on the PC client. I'd love to have a control panel on the mobile to help me modify my configurations. For example to add or modify notifications for events. Thanks Daniele

Hi, On the Android phone app I noticed a red exclamation balloons on all my servers. If I open the app and look at the notifications it lists each server as going offline at the same time, but back on the main page none of the servers are grayed out and I can view live settings such as CPU temperatures just fine. I did not receive any emails alerts or an alert in the top bar on the Android phone. All the servers seem to be fine as I can remotely access them. Should I ignore the messages and delete them? Any idea whats going on?

Hi, My objective is to monitor Veeam backup and agent jobs in the most efficient way. Since there's no feature to monitor Veeam backup, the only way I know is to make use of Windows Event logs. When I tried to setup a new policy I found out that Pulseway web app only allows you to monitor "Application, Security and System" event logs. Problem is Veeam event logs are stored in a separate section under Windows event logs (Application & Services logs -> Veeam Backup). So according to my understanding this wouldn't work for Veeam. The other possible way of doing this is to configure to monitor Veeam backup event logs from the Pulseway Manger in a server…

I found an interesting use w/ the Ping notification (with help of another in the forum) feature of PC Monitor. I am currently using it to monitor the "ON/OFF" status of my WDTVs, net connected TVs and android phones in my wifi network. I basically setup my wifi router to assign monitored devices with specific IP based on individual MAC address. It is easier to deal w/ IPs than the resolved network name since not all devices can resolve to a name on the network. After that, you can setup these IPs in the Ping notification entries in PC Monitor and assign them appropriate alias such as "Living Room TV" etc. You will then get notification when these devices go online…

Is there a way to get notified if a chassis intrusion is detected. And furthermore, will it also be able to pick that up if the computer is opened while still running?

We've noticed a possible issue with local space monitoring. A server RAID controller went off-line(failed), the array disappeared, and we didn't get a notification of a disk space fault. Which is probably normal as the drive letter never hit our free space threshold. I was thinking of setting up a rule to monitor many drives and have it fall under 1 event. But performance counters seem to be based entirely on performance, and not appearance. Is there some place else where we can monitor local storage that turn up MIA?

Hello, At the moment I am working on setting up Pulseway for a lot of networks. I want to use SNMP to get a lot of data from the different devices in the network. Since we use a lot of the same devices I am already working on default files that I can use to configure the SNMP agents for NAS's, routers and other commonly used hardware. (Files that I only need to import and tweak to get the right values.) This is working properly. Here is the problem though: after importing the SNMP agents, I still need to configure all the notifications manually, and that takes even more time then setting up the SNMP agent in the first place. I used Pulseway for several years but until 2 years the notifications did not work. When i ask for a test notification i receive a push notification on my iPhone but when my computer starts or shutting down or entering in suspended mode or resumed for a suspended mode i don't receive any notification. Hi, just wondered if there was a way to specify any rules when sending emails, i.e. when a certain event happens send an email but not for other events? Also i noticed that for things like servers offline, the email notification keeps being sent over and over whilst the status isn't changed, is there a way of only sending one email untill the status changes again?

Would anyone have list of the available notification types? Here are a few I'm hoping exists. Alert when someone signs in/logs into a machine. Alert when someone signs out. Alert wen machine is powered on. Alert when password is changed. Alert when someone uses the machine unexpectedly (without consent, such as remote users). Please let me know if these are supported. We have 55 machines that are being monitored by pulseway for various things. Of the 55 I am only responsible for about 36 of them. In my system tray it only shows the 36 I'm managing, however I still get notifications for the other servers and another member of our team that is managing the other half still gets notifications when my machines go down. How can we make it so that we are not getting notifications for each others servers? Thanks, Aaron Trujillo

Is there any better documentation on the Email Templates? I see this post https://www.pulseway.com/blog/customize-email-notifications-on-pulseway-enterprise but the only thing it can pull from Pulseway is $TAG_BODY$ and everythng else seems to be hard coded. Can I include other data from Pulseway in the emails (CPU Load, Free Space, IP address, ETC)? How do others use the template?

Hey forum, I recently had the whole thing running rather well in testing phase, so we decided to go for real. This meant getting different accounts to set the rights properly. This is what I did: puls.connect to connect the agents to the enterprise server. puls.adm to to manage everything (the only admin account). puls.myname to manage all the systems. puls.mycolleaguesname just like me. I linked all of the systems from connect to the others as associated accounts and gave all rights and notifications on. Here is the problem: I am getting almost no notifications whatsoever. We are trialling on premise enterprise version. Is there any way we can have a custom email/push notification template at each site that includes the GROUP or Server name so we can feed it into our service desk and assign it to the correct technician?

Hi Pulseway I am trying to enable 2FA on an account. When i try to add the device as a trusted device, the device is gryed out and says: Two factor authentication requires push notifications which are not enabled on this device. App permissions are all allowed and notifications for the app is allowed. I have tried to uninstall the app and delete the device from the web-app and reinstall the app again. I cannot get the Samsung Galaxy A10 to be validated as a push-enabled phone. What can i do? Best regards Joachim Riisager

I have enabled lost of notifications on my pc but none of the show up, the did once or twice but not anymore, has anyone a idea why?

I noticed that rebooting a client (whether via Pulseway or locally) always triggers the "Antivirus real-time protection is disabled" notification. My guess is that Kaspersky needs a while to startup, long enough to trigger "AV disabled" condition. Systems: Win 10 Pro, AV: Pulseway Kasperksy Is there a way to avoid these false alarms? Thanks! How is Ping Notifications work ? If I use default setting ( >300ms for 1 minute ), PC Monitor will ping How many times in 1 minute ? thanks

We recently started using notifications for the (+-50) systems we monitor. I was wondering how long the history will be kept for. We have a more atypical setup as the systems aren't servers but video editing workstations which come online/offline quite often, so the amount of notifications will grow quite rapidly. Regards, Guy.
