    When you run a script, it asks if you are sure you want to run it. When you run a task, it just runs right away. I see an issue here. If it is important enough to ask you if you want to run a script, then why not a task. Tasks include your scripts, but run them against many systems that you set. If you hit the RUN button instead of the EDIT button, then the task just takes off and does its work. What do you think?

    Hi, after de-activating the user account for a temporary contract technician, he was still receiving notifications on his iPhone. It was only after disabling PUSH notifications for his account, that they stopped... I assume all notifications should stop once a user account is de-activated? Regards,

    Hi, Policies --> Policy Editor --> Notifications --> Event Log To then edit a specific filter, the button does nothing at all... Regards,

    Hi, When creating a new task I have selected a custom scope and then saved the task. However when I go back in and edit the task the scope keeps defaulting back to All Systems. Has anyone else experienced this? Regards D

  5. Hello We have a dedicated controller at Pulseway. We have a couple of Windows Servers but one has showed itself as offline since yesterday. The Windows Server itself is up and running fine and the Pulseway service is running. I have tried this: Restart Pulseway Service (No problems) Unregister and Reregister System (Working Fine) Rebooted the server Communicationtest "telnet xxxx.pulseway.com 443" answering like it should Uninstalled Pulseway and removed the registry key "ComputerIdentifier" then reinstalled Uninstalled Pulseway again and removed the whole Hive "MMSOFT Design" from registry and reinstalled Pulseway.     Hey guys, I use Notes in PSA tickets to communicate with end users thus keeping all communication in PSA and out of email/Outlook. My email templates use the reply separator field. However, when the end user replies, I still get the text header information that Outlook inserts above the reply separator. Other email parsing platforms I've used before don't have this issue. I think its because the parser can understand Outlook's reply separator/original message divider. Can you guys address this? Here is an example of what I see in my replies:

  7. I simply tried the system as I saw it getting advertised on LinusTechTips, but after installing it I saw that it doesn't have the features I needed so I uninstalled it. Problem was after uninstalling it I kept getting system errors upon PC restarts and now some of my games simply stopped working, and to top it all off I noticed that my antivirus solutions had been turned off (malwarebytes and bitdefender). Is this program a virus advertising itself as a remote viewing solution?

  8. 6.0 dropped for me this morning. I hate it and I tell you why. After going through the painstaking process of setting up my Organizations, Sites and Group, I am left with no endpoints visible. The only place I can find them is under Systems > Systems (this needs to be reworded as it is redundant - maybe Systems > Endpoints OR Endpoints > Systems, your welcome for that tip), anyway, while under that location I can see all my endpoints but they are ALL in the wrong location with no way that I can see to move them to where they should be.     For about the past three and a half hours, new alerts from Pulseway have not created tickets in the PSA system.

  10. For the last couple of days, computers have been reporting the definition updates for Windows Defender as important or critical. Previously, they were recommended, which would not trigger an alert. The previous rating worked much better since they come out multiple times a day and are almost always quickly, successfully and automatically installed by Windows. Is there anything that can be done to stop an alert every time Windows Defender has a definition update?

    I imported all of our hardware assets, computers and other devices into PSA. I set the 'Name' field for computers to match the name in RMM. When a ticket is created from a machine via RMM, a duplicate hardware asset is created with the same name. In the attached you can see an example of this. The first item was created recently, automatically. The second item was created initially when I imported all assets.

  12. I'm trying to help a user who reported some issues, and I need to see the system logs. Every time I click, after about 15 seconds, I see the error: Data not available. At the same time, I'm able to see the Application log, however, Security log also returns this error. To my knowledge it only happens on one PC, I can access logs on all other PCs I checked. Let me know if I need to provide any additional info.

  13. Hi, In the "Service Desk" if you do a search, and then a "Batch" command, the batch includes only the items from your search. Perfect. If you are in "Finance, Invoices" and do a search, and then do a "Batch", the batch includes "ALL Invoices". Can someone else confirm if they are also seeing this. I know you have other options when you get to the Invoice Batch screen, but that batch screen does not include all the search features. It would be nice for the search then batch feature to work the same as it does for Service Desk, --- OR --- it would be nice to have the other search features in the Invoice Batch screen. Gary

  15. Hi, Don't know if its intended this way but... We added a system under a different account under our server. But when we want to apply Group Policy's to that group we cannot do that. The Group that the system is in is not visible to us. Is that intended that way or something that's just not there yet? Please let us know, we are planning to use multiple users in Pulseway for better Security for example every company that we manage will get its own username and password where the systems are added to. Than we give our "Admin / MGMT" account Full Access. But that means for now what I can see that we cannot apply group policy's. See the scr…

    Several agents in different groups are showing offline. During the day (Production Time) they are online then goes offline. We can confirm the workstations are physically online. Power settings are all set to never sleep. Any ideas why they are offline?

    In the Pulseway Dashboard (V 5.4.1) we are noticing servers showing as Offline and then they go back online in 1 or 2 min. The issue is, the server is not offline. First, we setup Pulseway to show servers RED when they go offline, and more important, I'm connected to the server working on it. Then a few other servers show offline, and then go back online in 1 or 2 min. and this keeps cycling through our screen saying servers are offline at random. Anyone else seeing this.....Very weird.

  18. If you create a new ticket (post date of service), you can add a travel expense for a date before ticket creation. You can also change the expense date successfully if done from the expense entry inside the ticket. However, if you go to "My Expense Reports" and open the expense and try to change the date to before ticket creation, there is an error "cannot create expense before ticket creation date". Its easier to do this from My Expense Report and you should never be prevented from adding an expense dated before ticket creation. Thanks

    Hi, I think this is since the last update. When the RMM starts a ticket for a client, it does not include the Default Contract when starting the ticket. If I start a ticket manually for a client, it does pick the default contract. This is a large issue as I am having to go back the full month, find any ticket created by the RMM and edit the tickets to add the contract rate. Gary

  20. Hi all! I have removed a decommissioned server from our inventory, but the alert streamer keeps being red and reports, that the computer is off-line. The computer isn't on any accounts systems lists. Regards, Morten

    Using the dashboard I updated the settings for a client's machine. I added in cpu and hard drive temperature monitors setting them to the default 70 C. Less than a minute after updating the dashboard reported all 3 were elevated temperatures. It was reporting them in Fahrenheit. I again edited the settings and double checked. Hardware sensors were set to report in Celsius. I deleted the hardware notifications, uploaded the settings and it ceased to report the elevated temperature. I again, edited the settings, added the hardware notifications for the cpu and hard drive, saved them and the dashboard again reported elevated temperatures in F!

    Since the new update 4.0.11.1, the time sheet rounding feature is not working. We bill everything on a 15Min interval. It used to be when I approve time, I just click on an entry that is not in a multiple of 15 Min, and the program would round up the number to the next 15Min for me. This no longer works. (I have double checked the setting Admin...Company settings...Time Sheet...Round and it is still set. Is anyone else seeing the time sheet time rounding issue?

Hi Guys, I'm setting up the patch policies, I've got some strange behaviour - the patching policy history in Pulseway indicates the "Available update didn't match any rule and was ignored." however when logging into the server I can see that update was installed. See the screenshots below - specifically for update 4132216

    Hi Guys, I've had a couple of instances where I've replied to a ticket using a template response and the end user has recieved an update to say that a note has been added but the note doesn't show. This appears to only happen when we use any templated responses. Cheers, Martin

  25. Hi, We've noticed that being able to add a screenshot to a ticket note via the "Paste as HTML" option is really hit and miss (more miss!). Their doesn't appear to be any rhyme nor reason to when it will work and when it won't. We're running PSA in Chrome mostly, but have observed the same problem in Mozilla. Is anyone else seeing similar problems?
