Good morning, I woke up today to an alert from PC Monitor that one of our DC's went down in the middle of the night so naturally I remote in and check. System was up just fine but PC monitor was seemingly uninstalled/missing (~\Program Files\PC Monitor contains a "PCMonitorSrv.InstallState" file along with a couple tmp files). We did our deployment of PC monitor yesterday afternoon and didn't seem to notice any problems. Any ideas? This is on a physical box running 08R2. This morning I had a internet connection outage for about 1 hour. PCMonitor notified me of this on my Iphone and Ipad, so far so good. After the internet connection restored both servers stay'd off-line on the PCmonitor Dashboard, Iphone and Ipad. I restarted the PCmonitor service on both servers, without result. A reboot of both servers solved the message for just one server, that other server still shows a off-line condition, although it is connected to the internet. Both servers running Server 2008 R2 with all update's installed, also running the latest version PCmonitor.

Repro: - In the android app (not sure about others), when you have read-only access to a computer - visit either the "Process" or "Service" menu options. - Clicking on a Process or Service in the list gives you an action menu item (eg. "Kill Process", "Cancel"). Although clicking the action reports that the action failed (so we're not talking about a security issue here), there is probably no need to provide these menus when in read-only mode in the first place.

The PC Monitor agent does not start automatically after it is installed. You've agreed elsewhere that PC Monitor installation isn't yet enterprise-friendly, but the impact of this is that even after installing by GPSI, we have to come up with a method to launch the service. If it's a bug, fixing it would be one step closer to being enterprise-ready. If this is by design, is there a way to make the service launch with an MST file?

I upgraded most of the computers in my office to windows 10 however the service doesn't want to start after a reboot. I can't say that its every pc that was upgraded but its only happened to pc's that were upgraded. Thanks.

When this happens check that the username and password are correct (and if applicable the dedicated server is also correct).

One of my servers goes offline ramdomly (twice today, one yesterday). I installed Pc Monitor yesterday, I'm a new account. The web application has a "Session Timeout" setting. Since a few weeks this setting has no effect anymore. The setting we use is 120 minutes but we are always logged out of the web application after +- 5 15 minutes of inactivity. I'm not 100% sure but it seems this issue popped up since the enhanced 2FA update which was released a few weeks ago.

Since the upgrade to 9.7 i am unable to change profiles and save the changes i have made. When i press the save button, i get the following dialog screen: The same happens when i try to duplicate a profile, change it and press the create button. Same dialog screen is shown. If i go through the process of selecting a folder, creating a new folder called 'test' and selecting create, it proceeds as expected. it saves the profile, but does NOT create a separate profile folder called 'test'. We have the Slack integration enabled but 2 days ago we stopped receiving notifications. When sending a test message from the integration settings the following message appears. The maximum message size quota for incoming messages (65536) has been exceeded. To increase the quota, use the MaxReceivedMessageSize property on the appropriate binding element. I've also disabled and re-enabled the integration to no avail. The wording suggests that the problem is on the remote side of things. Any thoughts/ideas are appreciated. Cheers, Joker

When I install and launch Pulseway on my iMac (mid 2011, 27 inch, CPU i7, Mavericks 10.9.4) in Console is generated periodical error - SMC::smcReadKeyAction ERROR TB0T kSMCBadArgumentError(0x89) fKeyHashTable=0x0xffffff804814a000. Frequency of error is around 3-6 per second. I tried reinstall Pulsewayq but noting has changed. I have two other iMacs (late 2012), but with them everything is ok. Can you help me?

Hi, Is there a way to get more information back from Pulseway when using a custom tile to install software? This issue could be isolated to Lenovo xClarity IMM that only support SNMP v3. But it also shows Pulseway is sending credentials even if No Authentication is selected. SNMP v3 devices (eg Lenovo xClarity IMM) it will fail to authenticate with option “No Authentication, no privacy” unless you have selected an Authentication option added valid user credentials and revert back to “No Authentication”. Hi, We're using 3rd party patching to update Sonicwall NetExtender and if it attempts to update the application while there is an active connection in the application, it will uninstall the old version but not install the new version. Manually running the policy will cause it to reinstall the application but it is definitely causing a lot of heartache for our users since we just enabled this policy last week and this week there was an update to NetExtender. Hello, I'm having an issue where my android and iphone devices are no longer making sounds to the various alert levels & notifications... Is there an option that I am missing? I've made sure that I've picked a sound for each alert/notification level under the settings. But every time there is a notification, I don't receive any sound anymore... My android app version is 2.9. Any suggestions? thanks!

Hi there, in the last few ... weeks? months? A growing number of monitored Windows systems running 2008R2/2012R2 do not send out WIndows Update notifications via pulseway anymore. This is starting to be a real issue since it is for some reason affecting more and more systems over timne and I cannot fin anything common on those or any reasons. The clients all have update notifications enabled, and when opening the Windows Update on the machines they do announce important/critical updates awaiting installation. I am running out of ways to look for the reason and a fix here, and would appreciate any help. Best regards

We are trying to set up SSL certificate monitoring, and it's working fine for our standard certificates, e.g. test.company.com and prod.company.com. When viewing the certificates in the app we get the number of days left before expiration. So far so good. However, as soon as we add our wildcard certificate, *.company.com, to the configuration, the "Certificates" page for the server in the app just shows "Loading monitored certificates...", eventually yielding "Data not available." As soon as the wildcard certificate is removed from the config, we can view the others just fine.

Hello, I have two Windows 2008 R2 machines. Which the BackupExec Remote Agent installed. On both of these machines is the PcMonitor Agent installed (Version v4.0, 4989). I try to monitor the service (with System|Services) but I get no notification if the service is stopped. The service name is "Backup Exec Remote Agent for Windows Servers" (BackupExecAgentAccelerator). This looks like a bug for me. Other service monitoring is working. Thanks for your help. I receive the following error from a system with a 54 GB hard disk with 9.96 GB free set to alert via group policy when the system partition has less than 10.0%. "The free space on system disk drive C: on the computer X in group Y is below 10% (9.96 GB% free of 53.81 GB%)" Just thought you would want to know.

Hi, I have configured and applied default storage notification policy to all my Windows workstations that is set to send a notification when the system partition has less than 5% with priority elevated. But all the notifications I get about storage say: The free space on disk drive C: on computer computername in group groupname - Office - Workstations' is below 15% (ex. 16.24 GB free of 118.18 GB). How can I make the applied policy to respect the right percentage specified in the group policy? Do

Currently, the notification and optional completion email states that it failed on X systems. It should state "The task XYZ has failed on X out of Y systems" so we have an idea of the task ahead.

When you run a script, it asks if you are sure you want to run it. When you run a task, it just runs right away. I see an issue here. If it is important enough to ask you if you want to run a script, then why not a task. Tasks include your scripts, but run them against many systems that you set. If you hit the RUN button instead of the EDIT button, then the task just takes off and does its work. What do you think?

Hey Pulseway, Just a small thing: when "Collect historical data for charts" is enabled and you go to the graph in the web interface, it shows the incorrect unit when hovering over the line. If I go to a ping graph and then to the temperature graph it says "38 ms"; If I go to the network adapter graph and then to the temperature graph it says "38 B"; I even got it to say "38 Connection failures" from a performance counter, but never 38 °C. I think you get the point, it's minor, but it's still a bug. - Jaapyse

Hi Pulseway Support, Since weeks I'm unable to use Remote Desktop for a specific customer through proxy. (Although, I can see that the systems are online etc.) In the settings of Pulseway Manager, I have set the correct proxy. Also, in the debugging logs on the client side the rd request appears to be received, but it still gives me the error (see attachment).
