Uhm, we don't sell routers, our software only monitors them if SNMP is supported.

Paul reacted to Martin Stevnhoved in Full Remte Desktop for Read-only devices
Hi @Paul.
I think we misunderstand each other. Perhaps I am not make myself clear enough.
I would like to make a group of users with only read access to managing devices, but being fully able to control sessions via Remote Desktop.
The application support people should not be able to manage the servers, but should be fully able to support the remote desktop users.
Best Rebards, Martin.

Paul reacted to Larry J Wallace in Block USB access
In the WebApp, under Automation > Scripts, there's one called, "Disable USB Storage Access" that you could run on the system of choice, or group.
It's a PowerShell script:
Set-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR" -Name "Start" -Value "4"
# Restart-Computer # Uncomment this line to automatically restart the computer

Paul got a reaction from Martti Nuudi in Storage policy notification does not follow the set policy
Hi @Martti Nuudi,
Welcome to the Pulseway community. It's possible that the agent in discussion already has a storage notification configured locally to alert when the available disk space is bellow 15%. If you would like to disable any locally configured storage notification checks you can do so from the Policy by checking the checkbox that says "Disable locally configured storage notifications".

Paul reacted to Chris in Folder size monitoring
Hi @Nicola Farina,
Yes, it is possible to monitor the folder size via scripts. If you will create the script which checks the Folder size and returns the exit code (exit 1 - failure and exit 0 - success), then based on the exit code from the script you may send the notifications if you will run it as an automated task. For more details about automated tasks please check out the following link.

Paul got a reaction from Zao in Can not sign in to Windows Server 2016 Core
Hi @Zao,
Unfortunately yes, this is a known issue. Pulseway cannot send CAD for Core editions at this time, our team has it in the backlog so you can bet that this will be fixed in a future release.

Paul got a reaction from Kenny Carlsson in Tags by rules / dynamic tags
This is on our todo list for the automation module 2.0 when we'll be adding event based triggers. It also comes with a tag editor to make it simpler to edit tags on machines.

Paul got a reaction from itshero in KAV not installing (Agent Missing)
Hi everyone,
We've released the KES 10 SP2 MR3 to everyone however the in-place upgrade function remains disabled as it's known to cause problems. We've reached to a conclusion with Kaspersky Labs that the following process is safer to upgrade KES 10 SP1 MR3:
Uninstall KES 10 SP1 MR3 Reboot the computer Upgrade the system to 1903 if it's Windows 10 (if the 1903 update was already installed and it automatically uninstalled KES 10 SP1 MR3 then you need to run the KAV removal tool) Reboot the computer Install Kaspersky (it will automatically deploy KES 10 SP2 MR3) Please let me know how this goes for you.

Paul reacted to Brandan in Script to empty SoftwareDistribution Folder. Clear out Windows updates.
Here is a Batch script to empty the SoftwareDistribution Folder. It stops any installer processes in the background, temporarily disables the Windows Update Service, deletes everything in the Software Distribution folder then sets the Windows update service back to automatic and starts the service.
@echo off
CD C:\
taskkill /F /im setup.exe
taskkill /F /im ose00000.exe
taskkill /F /im msiexec.exe
sc config wuauserv start= disabled
net stop wuauserv
PowerShell.exe Remove-Item C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\* -Force -Recurse
sc config wuauserv start= demand
net start wuauserv

Paul got a reaction from David- in Trigger Maintenance Mode via Script/Task
I doubt that script 3 will execute. We don't continue a task execution after a reboot. If you need to schedule a reboot for your systems I recommend you to configure the Maintenance Schedule on your machines (can also be done via a Pulseway Group Policy).
Powershell to control the maintenance mode:
Set-ItemProperty -Path "HKLM:\Software\MMSOFT Design\PC Monitor" -Name "MaintenanceMode" -Value "1" -Paul

Hey everyone,
We're on the final steps of releasing an update to the Kaspersky integration which will allow you to upgrade your existing Kaspersky installations to KES 10 SP2 which also supports the 1903 update. I'll post another reply here when the update is out but it won't be long.

Paul got a reaction from Ian G in Poor technical support from Pulseway?
Hi Ian,
Rest assured that this issue is not shelved but there's been no progress made on it simply because it's scheduled to be fixed in the next Windows agent maintenance release (it's on the top of the priority todo list). I'll post an update as soon as I have a beta build so you can install it on your affected system.

Paul got a reaction from TorW in Notification Bridge
Hi everyone,
Use this plugin to open up a local WCF using net pipes so that a console application can use it to sent notifications to Pulseway. Using this solution you can easily send Pulseway notifications from your scripts.
Version 1.3
=Installation=
Add the NotificationBridgePlugin.dll plugin into Pulseway Manager -> Plugins. Configure your scripts to call NotificationBridge console application. =Usage=
-p (Priority: 0=Low, 1=Normal, 2=Elevated, 3=Critical) -t (Text message, use double quotes if the message includes a space) -f (Include the text from a file) -r (Allow repeating notifications) Exit Codes:
0 - Notification was successfully forwarded to Pulseway 1 - Notification was rejected by Pulseway (Maintenance mode, Old notification was not deleted, Pulseway is stopped. As always my plugin is open-source bound by no license. You may claim it your own.

Paul reacted to Martin Stevnhoved in Improvements to the Dashboard app
Hi MMSOFT,
I would like to share some improvement suggestions for the Dashboard app.
They are mainly seen from a dispatcher point of view, and not for a monitoring display screen, so they are centralized about the "All Notifications" list.
1. Change (default) view to "All Notifications" list.
As a dispatcher the focus is on the notifications, and not the systems.
It would be nice to be able the change the main window to the "All Notifications" list, insted of getting a popup window.
It could be from the view menu, or by a separate launch-parameter/shortcut.
2. Sort columns in "All Notifications" list.
It is not possible to the sort the notification list by clicking column headers.
That should be a very easy implementation, that brings value to the dispatcher.
3. Right-click actions on the notification list.
A dispatcher doesn't only look at notification list. He also takes a notification.
So it would be great with the possibility to run custom action, be right-clicking on notifications.
It could be actions like "Assign notification", "Create Zendesk Ticket", "Send email", "Open system in webapp", "Write comment".
It could be implemented by custom actions, like running executables or calling webservices.
It could also be implemented by plugins.
4. Show (results of) executed actions in notification list
If a custom action (above idea no. 3) has been executed on a notification it should be visible on the notification list.
It could be by an icon column, or the line changing color.
5. Notification comments.
It should be possible to put simple comments on a notification, both from the dashboard, and in all other apps.
It should be easy the see that a notification has a comment on any notification list.
You are welcome to contact me, if you need ideas to how it could be implemented.
