  4. Is there a way to kick off an automated task based on a notification or alert. For Example, if we get a notification of a disk getting full, I would want the automation to run: <Open a ticket>--> <add predetermined note>--> <add 15 minutes>--><run task to clean drive>--><send notification that task has completed>--><close ticket> Is this possible now, or should this be a feature request? Thank you, dp

Hello I am currently trialing Pulseway and working on the patching module. Policies seem to work well enough but how exactly do I see all of the patch requirements of the endpoints? Also is there a way I can tell multiple devices to install a specific patch in bulk? Thanks Larnel

  7. With lots of bad events occurring this past week and one happening right now. I went to create a policy for patch management so that a computer could be assigned to a policy that would prevent windows updates until issues can be resolved. So I have set it to not install under all conditions. It requires me to set a schedule. Is this schedule the dates on which Pulseway will check and refresh the Windows update policy in the event they have changed on the PC or does this schedule apply to anything in this case ? I guess I'm wondering how the policy is enforced. If I set it to repeat daily does it update the windows update settings once a day or is this checked before …

  12. Hi there, I'm totally new to Pulseway (teams/MSP) and I need an hand setting up a, I think, common situation. I have a client that wants to receive e-mail notifications (not push with app) for his servers. I have placed his server in a dedicated agents group, but how to achieve? I don't want that he can log in web app and mobile app too, only receive his notifications. Thank you.

  15. Started by dpbklyn,

It would be awesome if the email parser went a little deeper. Sometimes a client emails us directly and we forward that email to Pulseway to open a ticket. The problem with this is that it opens the ticket using our company as the client. It would be great if we could get the parser to look in the email headers to find the address that the email originated from and use THAT to assign and client and user to the ticket. There are other ticket systems that do this. Alternatively (though not as elegant), It would also work to put a flag in the subject line like "@CLIENTNAME" to get the email assigned to the client. Is there a way to do this with workflow…

  18. Hi Could someone assist in helping me to set up an alert when a network connection is dropped. This is happening at one of my client sites after changing to a new ISP. The ISP says the router/switch is fine but connections are dropping. I would like to be able to log when a connection drops (ideally knowing if the internet connection has dropped or just the internal network connection) I'm not sure a simple ping notification is good enouh in Pulseway to do this as I need to know if the connection has dropped for a few mseconds as well as larger outages. I guess the Event Viewer holds the answers but would appreciate it if anyone has done this befo…

Hi, Has anyone got some advice on monitoring McAfee please? We need a way to monitor to the AutoUpdate so it alerts us if this has not run. Previously we have a script that checks the registry of each server then sends an email with the information, however we would like to replace this with a Pulseway alert if out of date. I have searched the forum but the last post is from 2012 so i was hoping there is a solution to this. Also looked from registry/WMI queries but that seems to be for reporting rather than monitoring. Thanks.

  20. Our technical support AD credentials have changed passwords and now we are getting hundreds of machines trying to login with the configured AD account PowerShell User Impersonation credentials…locking the technician accounts. These machines are spread out at 19 separate locations and over 600 miles, at remote locations. How do we remotely modify the Runtime PowerShell user credentials on those machines? I have tried uninstalling and then reinstalling, but it absorbs the previous configuration…including the former PowerShell User credentials….I also tried calling tech support but was sent to voicemail. This is not 2FA... it's bothering you with an email to login to your account. Two-Factor requires any two of these: Something you know (your username & password, check) Something you have (a software/hardware code generator, a Yubikey) Something you are (fingerprint, etc.) Bio-metrics are far from perfect, and usually avoided in these situations - I'm just amazed you went through the effort to implement this "2 factor send you an email" when it's simple to implement the time-based solution that is used by Google and others. I've been waiting for a long time for you to add 2FA - and to have it implemented like this is insulting; I feel like you ma…
