Notifications

My Kamailio has gone down twice in the last two weeks and i have not been getting notifications through Pulseway. Above is the Kamailio service in a running state and below is my configuration set up, for that service to be monitored. Any guidance in fixing this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, For some weeks, when we receive an email notification concerning a user logged on a monitored ressource, the IP mentionned is always 127.0.0.1 instead of the user ip. I don't know why...I don't think to have make any change on local configuration and I don't find a specific setting to manage that... Do you have an idea or a way to investigate on this issue ? Hi Marius, I'm loving this software day by day. The only thing that I find difficult is that when I need to change something in the configuration I need to operate on the PC client. I'd love to have a control panel on the mobile to help me modify my configurations. For example to add or modify notifications for events. Thanks Daniele

I have created a Windows cmd file to copy files nightly on one of my servers. If there is an error, the cmd file outputs the error to an error.txt file, thus updated the "Last Write" date on the file. My command file is working great, and outputs the errors to the error.txt, and the date stamp on the error.txt file is updated each time this happens. I configured the Pulseway Computer Settings via Notifications -> Storage -> Files. I added the error.txt and checked for notifications to be sent when the file last write date has changed. Hi, Is it possible to configure multiple notifications for a single drive/volume when the space is running out, for example notifications at 10% free space and 1% free space. At the moment if I do this I do not seem to get an alert when the space drops below 10% but is greater than 1% Cheers, Steve.

Hey forum, I recently had the whole thing running rather well in testing phase, so we decided to go for real. This meant getting different accounts to set the rights properly. This is what I did: puls.connect to connect the agents to the enterprise server. puls.adm to to manage everything (the only admin account). puls.myname to manage all the systems. puls.mycolleaguesname just like me. I linked all of the systems from connect to the others as associated accounts and gave all rights and notifications on. Here is the problem: I am getting almost no notifications whatsoever. So the issue I'm having is with the mobile app on Android. I can log into the app and see notifications there, but I don't receive any notice through normal Android notifications. On the web client, I can see the device listed under Monitoring Devices with Push Notifications - No, but I cannot find where to enable this in the settings of the web app or mobile app!

Is it possible to setup a notification if a NT Service is not running after a period of time?

We have just implement enterprise solution, create admin and associates account (Joebuddy). Create a device using admin account, and assign Joebuddy as associates account. When a notification is sent (whatever, CPU high, disk low), the admin account receives notification on all devices. But associates account has no notification at all. Verify setting in users account and all boxes have been check. Can you please help ? Thanks very much. Ling

Hi, On the Android phone app I noticed a red exclamation balloons on all my servers. If I open the app and look at the notifications it lists each server as going offline at the same time, but back on the main page none of the servers are grayed out and I can view live settings such as CPU temperatures just fine. I did not receive any emails alerts or an alert in the top bar on the Android phone. All the servers seem to be fine as I can remotely access them. Should I ignore the messages and delete them? Any idea whats going on?

Been using Pulseway since it was PC-Monitor, for at least 3 years now. I noticed earlier this year (maybe about the time it was change to Pulseway) that notifications about my WINDOWS machine changed from being SMS alerts to my phone, to emails. I made no changes at all (in fact I haven't touched it since it was installed. It really is that good). I assumed this was a policy decision at Pulseway towers, and forgot about it. Looking through the notification rules I don't see a method to monitor if a certain process stays at 0 CPU usage. I'd like to monitor if a certain program locks up, unfortunately when it locks up the Not Responding rule doesn't work.

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to get a notification if a file exceeds a certain file size. In my case I want to get an alert when a file or a folder exceeds 5 GB. Is that possible? I only found an option to either monitor the whole harddisk or get an alert when a file changes in size

I used Pulseway for several years but until 2 years the notifications did not work. When i ask for a test notification i receive a push notification on my iPhone but when my computer starts or shutting down or entering in suspended mode or resumed for a suspended mode i don't receive any notification. Hello, I would like to get PC Monitor to notify me for any new Error events added to the Windows Application event log. If I try to leave the textboxes for Keywords, Event Ids, and Sources empty I get an Error message: "No keywords, event ID's or sources specified." Is there a wild card character I can use? I tried entering an asterisk(*) in the keywords textbox but it does not appear to be working. Thanks Chuck

Is it possible to setup Pulseway to only send out alerts for a particular user for particular servers? We have a SQL admin who only wants to receive alerts from his SQL servers which we have Pulseway installed on, and not alerts from the entire list of servers we have it installed on. I already have his access restricted down to just the SQL servers and I thought that would include alerts, but he's still getting them for all of our servers in the organization.

Since about 2 month our notifications if a server gets restarted reports shutdown but no (green) online status again. Is this a known bug?

I would like to be notified when a network device logs onto my wifi network. I can assign these devices static IPs based on MAC addresses. I know I can check to see if they are off of my network by pinging their IPs. However what I try to detect is the opposite. Any clue? These devices are my WDTV media players, android phones, and my TVs.
