  1. If we install the agent manually (or via GPO) and go and do a discovery and deploy later, The probe will show ALL systems on the network as Discovered, including those that have the agent on them already and will allow me to push the agent again. If we deploy to those systems we get duplicate machines showing up and have to go clear them out. Is this by design? It would be good if the probe could detect if the machine has the agent on it already and not show it or at lest show it has the agent on it already.

I have setup a Workflow for window services that have been stopped, to send pulseway notifications, email and to start the necessary service's again however I only receive a pulseway notification which states the service's that are stopped and the following statement of : The automation workflow could not be executed for this system as it's not up to date or it's not supported. (Please note all of the servers are currently up to date and patched) Servers : 2012 R2 , 2016(SQL Server)

  3. Action: monitoring website from host configuration Expected result: website is reported as up in Pulseway panel. Actual result: website is always reported as down in Pulseway panel. I have a monitored website configured on one of my hosts. Pulseway reports it as down, yet I can confirm that it is accessible from several different computers and networks. If I delete the Pulseway notification about the website, the notification comes back immediately. This site is accessible via IPv6 only. There is only a AAAA record for the host in the DNS. I presume that might be the cause of the problem, as this problem did not occur until I removed the A record for the host. …

  4. If i enable 2fa on the PSA and use the new ticket integration in WebApp i get a 500 internal server error when we click on tickets. If we remove the 2fa from PSA it works fine. We use the PW hosted server and paid for subscription.

  5. i have pulseway installed on many macs and since the latest release my end users are reporting a popup from pulseway requiring an update to be installed. Why is this not silently instealled like on windows pcs?

    Currently, the notification and optional completion email states that it failed on X systems. It should state "The task XYZ has failed on X out of Y systems" so we have an idea of the task ahead.

  8. Does anyone else have this problem? Despite doing the update in every possible way, pulseway keeps showing us the notification and sending us the alert. The problem occurs exclusively on servers with Windows 2019 installed. Thanks for your help in advance.

    Hello, I woke up today, to a sound of a Pulseway notification on my phone, it was around ~9.30-ish AM. The notification message says that my server is offline. I check emails, there is also a new email in my inbox from Pulseway at 9.40am on the dot, stating the same thing. Naturally I go ahead and try to log on to my server, which lets me log into it and is not offline. So I go into the mobile app notifications, and realize that today Feb 17th, both the app and the email decided to notify me of something that happened on Feb 9th, and was a planned restart.   10. This issue could be isolated to Lenovo xClarity IMM that only support SNMP v3. But it also shows Pulseway is sending credentials even if No Authentication is selected. SNMP v3 devices (eg Lenovo xClarity IMM) it will fail to authenticate with option “No Authentication, no privacy” unless you have selected an Authentication option added valid user credentials and revert back to “No Authentication”. So the bug is that No Authentication actually requires Authentication Eg Attempting to crawl, will fail with "Authentication failure" Add some credentials but revert back to No authentication. Hi, I noticed Pulseway is interfering with the network tab in Windows task manager (Windows 10) when Pulseway service is active, the task manager doesn't show network usage for any application Disabling the service from Windows restores the functionality immediately. I tried disabling the network feature from the "Available Features" tab in Pulseway, but that doesn't help as long as the service is running Is there a way to fix this? at least disable the network monitor component of Pusleway?

  12. Security settings menu showed weird firewall list. In my case, i already uninstalled kaspersky antivirus, but kaspersky firewall still showed up. It showed up twice, one enabled and one disabled. This bug affecting my executive system report and make the score lower. Please help

  13. When I add a task or script to a workflow, then add a condition and try to add an action parameter of the script, it doesn't present any parameters to select and the entire page freezes. This happens on several web browsers on several different devices. I've tried creating new workflows, new tasks and new scripts, but same thing.

  14. We have (of course) some monitored Windows services and today we were stumped that the notification of a service that wasn't running didn't show up again after clearing all notifications. The service died Monday night (due to problems with the SQL server hosting the corresponding database of the service) and we missed the alert, since we clear our notifications first thing in the morning to get a clean "what's up" (or down )view. So the alert was there, it just didn't come up again after clearing and we're almost certain that this behaviour was changed in the past, although I couldn't find anything about it in the changelogs. Hi, We're using 3rd party patching to update Sonicwall NetExtender and if it attempts to update the application while there is an active connection in the application, it will uninstall the old version but not install the new version. Manually running the policy will cause it to reinstall the application but it is definitely causing a lot of heartache for our users since we just enabled this policy last week and this week there was an update to NetExtender.   17. Please just clarify in the help text to press enter when adding a service name. Added one and got error filed can not be empty and by accident pressed enter out of frustration to find out thats how to add the name, may seem obvious but not quite clear thats how to do it. "press enter after entering a short name" would suffice. "" Alternatively make confirm button add what text one entered in field. Thanks.

Similar to the Topic created on March 27, 2014 in Bugs, I have an issue with multiple windows VMs reporting as a single Pulseway device (due to us distributing one Windows VM to multiple machines. Whats the best way to fix this? I installed Pulseway on each VM seperatly (not through the VM distribution)

    Dear Support Team, I am opening this topic because we have been experiencing high CPU usage by a program on our Windows 2022 servers. The program is using 28-30% of the CPU constantly, even though it should only be using 1-5%. This is causing performance issues on our servers. We have already tried the following to fix the issue: lodctr /R Reinstall the program Reboot the server Update the server Lowering the task priority in Task Manager Limiting the program to using only 1 CPU core None of these solutions have worked.     The active alerts widget on the dashboard is not updating and previously deleted notifications are still counted on the graph. Clicking on it will not show any new notifications.

  23. The title/header in the notification for automatic reboot genereated by the patch managments settings looks off. If the entire prompt could be more descriptive and say how many updates have been installed, must be restarted before <end date & time>. "You need to restart your computer. Your computer have been updated according to the company patch policy and needs to be restarted before to complete the updates. (3) Updates installed, choose to restart the computer now or schedule it for a later. Restart will automatically be done <date & time> if not performed earlier."
