  1. Suggest ideas on how to improve Pulseway

Hi all, A handy feature would be if you could wake up your computer and put it to sleep or shutdown on a certain day and time. I have a media player that streams mp3. I do that almost every evening. If I could schedule that then I would not have to put the server manually on but when I want to listen then the server is already on. Also happens that I fall in sleep with the music on. The server keeps on all night consumer power. With scheduled timing I could put it to sleep somewhere in the night. Yeah, a server you keep running but when I so not use it I put it to sleep or shut it down. So that's why this function would be handy.

Hello, I'm doing a trial of the Pulseway system at the moment and would love some feedback form users. Are people monitoring Linux boxes? How is this working out for you. We are currently using Site24x7 but are in the need for a change. The majority of our servers are web servers. When working in the PSA, I find it takes around 4 or 5 seconds before an action is done and it moves to the next part/page - anyone else expierencing this issue? Is this normal/expected? Thanks

Currently, any machine that is offline displays only the last know public IP address. It would be very useful if it could display all last known information. Such as serial number for example.

Although the current SNMP functionality is good, some devices don't provide any useful information to SNMP read requests. Many devices send a lot of useful information as SNMP traps and often clearly define the alert level when a trap is sent. Additionally, relying on read requests means that MIBs have to be used to configure each device which is time consuming and if an OID is missed, an important alert can be missed. It would be great to see Pulseway agents able to receive SNMP traps with the ability to then filter as required for notifications.

Hello Currently only 2 options are All Tickets and My Tickets. Could you add a "Open Tickets" view? Ideally, we could create our own filters, but currently tickets are not sorted by date, so I can have a dozen closed tickets, before coming across 1 open one.

  6. In trying to diagnose systems, often we need to be able to connect to a system before the user prompt for login. This allows us to see statuses of updates, rollback errors, etc.

The Pulseway app is available to install on M1 Macs, but the application seems to be running in iPhone mode, and not iPad. I am not sure what code change needs to be done, but would be nice to be able to run the iPad version or Pulseway on Mac.

It would be nice to have a have a way to send a message to users through the PC monitor agent to the users letting them know that a system outage has/is occurring and when it is resolved. Currently we send an email out with the outage information, however, if email goes down, we do not have a determined notification process. such as snapcomms.

Hi Bit of a cheeky request maybe....! Have noticed that one of your competitors uses a price per technician pricing model, with unlimited endpoints. I quite like the idea of this so that I could use agents on a temporary basis e.g. taking on new clients for demo purposes, internal use etc. without worrying about costs etc Is this an option that has ever been considered and perhaps offering two options to customers: a pay per technician and a pay per endpoint option? I can see advantages in both depending on individual circumstances. Regards, Andy

  12. Hi, in the moment everything is in english. We use the Pulseway MSP edition, and out customers are not all very familiar with the english language. For this it would be great to have at least this part of your software translated into different languages. Thanks, Christian.

  13. Treating user groups more like AD user groups would allow more granularity of access and less duplication of security roles.

The CSV data export would be much more usefull if it had some other way of getting the data aside from download or email. Ideally the information would be highly usable and "alive" in the Portal app whether the endpoint is offline or stolen However I am able to get more insight once the info is inAccess. I found when I Import to access that I must set " as text qualifier get a good import otherwise commas in the data cause extra fields to be created.

We like to monitor desktops but will want to have them on quiet mode, where notifications get logged but will not pop up on the phone (critical events only) Past two nights I missed a critical server notification because it was covered by the desktop once. We will continue to use pulseway for desktops if there's a quiet mode otherwise it just doesn't make sense to have servers and desktops together. Cheers

The ability to just pull your phone out and run a Ansible playbook would be amazing. Maybe even get run status or just the output of whatever playbook was run. This would add a crazy amount of flexibility to Pulseway.

  17. Started by BCons,

Hello, for clients with compliance needs, I MUST have the ability to review patches before I install them. Additionally, I must have the ability to install Windows drivers etc. I know Pulseway can't do that natively from their web-app. But I'd like to know when that would come. This is not a capricious request, I need it for Compliance. I need to know the Patch Status of each group of computers. Again, for compliance. It's strange that you guys don't have this. We can't just Install all patches as IT admins, we need to review patches. Particularly for Compliance! In what time frame do you guys expect to be adding this feature?

It would be useful to be able to sort by more than one field, for example i would like to sort my tickets primarly by Status, but within each status i would like to order by Open Date (or Last Activity Date) so i can see which is the oldest within each status.

Please add support for the more recent Azure Resource Manager deployment model for virtual machines. Currently only the classic model is supported, so virtual machines on my Azure subscription are not visible.

Any way to have mapped drives listed (add/edit/remove)? Net use from the terminal doesn't work.

Have a notification appear when they have responded to chat saves having to stay on the device or wait in the chat window

  22. I'd like to be able to create tasks that will execute when a new system is first seen. These tasks will only need to run once, but should trigger when a system is added to Pulseway. For example, we have some security settings that we are deploying and right now we have to manually execute these tasks on new systems (and try to remember). There should be an option to "Run once" when scheduling tasks.

  23. We have need to be able to create a time entry related to administrative or etc items that do not have an associated task or project and do not wnat to have to create and or leave a task/project open indefinitely for administrative or etc processes, but would like to be able to track that time.

  24. TL;DR: Align timezones across reporting and web interface. Request: When raised during our trial to engineering, the feedback is that browser displays local time, and reports are generated using UTC. The misalignment is visible in my example shown where a report shows a system was back online at 05:32:07, but it actually and factually came back online at 06:32:07. Suggest either including "UTC" in the report, or allowing time zones to be configured globally or per site. Also noticed, that the "Generated at 04 Sep 2020 01:20" footer on the report is 6 hours behind GMT (report generated 07:20am GMT), so this could also do with being aligned acco…

  25. Please simply integrate the asset data collected by RMM so that it is transferred to PSA for ticketing and asset management. This would be a HUGE competitive advantage for Pulseway. I am new to Pulseway and my expectation upon choosing Pulseway was that this functionality is built in. I now find out otherwise and I do not understand why asset info is not available to PSA when it is already captured in RMM? Lack of asset data from RMM to PSA causes so much extra work for each new machine added for every new client that if it isn't fixed soon I will need to leave Pulseway for a better alternative. At the very least, allow us to export all asset data, offline or otherwi…
