    HI, Is there a way to change the quote template for service quotes to add the period field. When creating the quote, you end up with services, and the period (monthly, yearly, other). But when you print the quote, the "Period" filed is not printed. So, if you have a mix of items (Monthly and Yearly) there is no way of knowing in the quote. Gary

    I am new at Pulseway and while I love the functionality that I have on my mobile phone the remote and webapp is limited of what I considered basics. So I will talk about what I miss from a Remote Desktop just coming from Solarwinds and Atera 1. File Transfer - sometimes we need to transfer files from our computers to the client computers, this has to be a plus feature. Specially that I am installing your product on my customers is more than annoying having to login to my OneDrive to download the files I need when I can just transfer them from my computer directly to the customer station. 2.     For some time after I signed up the PSA had an option to Populate Demo Data. I used it a few times and removing the demo data was nice because it brought you back to an almost clean slate. That option is now gone from my dashboard. Is there a way to do a reset?

    Can someone advise which reporting product is embedded into the PSA? The documentation on it from Pulseway is weak, so we'd like to find other sources of help. Knowing what the product is would help a great deal.

    I've been using Pulseway for some time now and although it's not perfect I was considering upgrading from pay monthly to annual billing in order to benefit from reduced pricing, at the same time I thought I might give the PSA a try but clicking on more information takes you to a page which tells you that Team subscribers can get it for free, but only if you're a new customer! So a new subscriber gets it for free whereas existing subscribers have to pay for it.

    Hi Guys, Can we remove all our hardware assets? I tried to import ammended ones over the top so I didn't have to edit 200+ items individually but it just added them to the list rather than overwriting them. Cheers, Martin

    Hi, When adding inventory, the "Expense" and "Income" account fields are only drop down, and you can not type alpha in the fields for auto fill. BUT, just about everywhere else in the PSA you can do this. BUG? Gary

    Hi, Is there a way to close a ticket that was opened by a notification from the RMM? ie. Notification of a stopped service opens a ticket. I would like a script to start the service and then change the ticket in the PSA auto-magicaly. Is this available yet, or on the feature request list? Gary

I've been setting up contracts in the system for MSP (recurring), time & materials etc. The setup of the contract seems reasonably straight forward, but they never show up for selection in the ticket entry screen. The drop down in the ticket screen is always empty. I've reviewed the docs multiple times and can't see what I've missed. I sent a message to support, but haven't heard back from them. In the meantime, all of my ticket activity is generating lots of billable time entries that it looks like I will have to manually adjust out - it will be a pile of work. Any suggestions?

  10. We're new to the PSA, and starting to get complaints from clients about the number of emails which are sent in the default configuration. We're trying to dial back the notifications and finding it quite challenging. One example is the creation of a new ticket by an agent. It would make sense that if we assign a contact in the ticket then we probably want them notified via email upon ticket creation. However, sometimes we do not want them notified. Maybe we're doing some housekeeping internally. Again, we assumed that if the contact was left blank, no email would go out to the client. Wrong!     I have set up a workflow rule to send me an email whenever a new RMM ticket is created. The problem is that it only works half the time. Other times no emails are arriving in my inbox. I can check the Audit log and it does indeed trigger the workflow rule, I am just not getting the emails. I've checked my junk mail and quarantine, but there is nothing there. Also when doing a message trace I am not seeing them. I've already tested changing the outgoing email server in Settings to use smtp.office365.com, but that doesn't seem to be making a difference. Has anybody else seen this?

    I don't think there's a way to do this? Please correct me if I'm wrong. Most of my quotes are as a result of tickets and usually involve equipment sales rather than actual projects so this would be REALLY nice to have.

I would like to see the implementation of a "save and close" feature, whilst I appreciate it is only one click extra to save and then close, it would be really useful to have the option to click once and return to the list of work items, whether these be quotes or tickets to start working straight away on the next item.

    Hi All When trying to import from Connectwise I get the following error: Error! You are unauthorized please check your current credential details ! The Public and Private keys are definitely correct. The url I'm using https://api-eu.myconnectwise.net/v4_6_release/apis/3.0/ as my login server is https://eu.myconnectwise.com. Anyone have any ideas what's going on here?

    I have some multi-year contracts that bill annually on the anniversary of the commencement date. How can I handle this in the contracts module? I DO NOT want pro-rata billing from the beginning\end of the calendar year.

    Hi guys, I think I may have mentioned this previously, but I see there is a new section here for the PSA. We're having troubles with the annual renewals on services. They will only show up as billable at the start/end of the year, not necessarily when the contact actually started. I.E. An annual contract starting on 01/08/15 will be billed on the last day of the year or the first day of the next year rather than every 1st of August. Many thanks, Martin

    How do you restrict viewing of other client/customer data by end users when attempting to use "Security Roles" to allow them access to things such as the hardware assets and knowledge base views? We want to allow a client to view their hardware inventory (which we manage) from the portal, but they currently would be able to see data related to our other customers as well.

  23. Hi All, I am trying to get some of the CRM features up and running and we seem to be falling at the first hurdle. When trying to update an opportunity and provide a quote we are not being shown any products? I am assuming that this is because the system is stating that we have nothing in stock, however I don't see why this wouldn't allow us to quote? I have tried resolving this temporarily with ad-hoc quotes, however this then brings up the issue of the VAT not showing, although I believe that we have this input correctly.   24. Hi Guys, We've noticed that some of the ticket titles from the RMM system to PSA are way too long, please check the attachment. Other events like backup failures/successes are fine but CPU and Memory usage tickets are massive. Would you be able to look into a way to create less obtrusive ticket titles from RMM? We've also noticed that the RMM priority doesn't necessarily map to a PSA priority. Is there a way to do this or is this something to come out in the future? Many thanks, Martin

When an opportunity has presented itself this has been raised on the system, however when we have then gone to start producing the quote, it appears that we are only able to add line items and not ad hoc items? There are many occasions that we will quote for non stock items on opportunities, can this be added? Thanks Craig
