Hi, I am looking for a way to send more info in the "Send mail" function within worflows. In this case I have a workflow that reports on stopped services but the email is only telling me that there was a service that stopped. I need to know which service on which server and when. Are there any variables to put in to acheive this? :-) Mike

Good Morning All! I've been using Pulseway for a couple years now on a limited basis but want to start using it more. One of the issues I find is that PCs go offline and and I cannot wake them up. I was planning on going round 25 desktop PCs and change the following settings: Power Mode = Best Performance Screen and Sleep > When Plugged in, put my device to sleep after > Never Is there a way I can do that via a policy or script and save all the leg work? thanks Anthony

I would like a script that would allow me to lock the pulseway agent so changes cant be made, without me having to go to each computer to lock it.

Hey guys! I've been testing the Webroot trial recently and it has been working fine, but I found something where there is room for improvement.. The Webroot installation can be done through Pulseway already, and everything that's needed is basically the Key Code assigning the client to the corresponding Webroot dashboard. This method works fine, but my idea is to automate as many of these tasks as possible, hence Powershell come in to play. Is there a script to stop and restart a service? I see a script where you can stop a service but I need a script to stop and then restart a service. Thank you

Hy! I'm looking for a solution for this problem: I've stored all of our assets warranty end date in a SYSTEM custom field called WARRANTY. Then I've created two other GLOBAL custom field. One called TODAY the other is TODAY30 and they are daily updated with the current date and current date + 1 month. Hi, I am looking for a script that can trigger a 3rd party patch policy ad-hoc outside the policy schedule. It´s going to be used to start the installation process of software on newly registered machines in a "Computer registered" workflow. If there is anyone with another take on that I´m all ears. It would be helpful to be able to enable maintenance mode in a script and disable it in another script. See if this makes sense. Script 1 = turns on maintenance mode Script 2 = reboots computer Script 3 = turns off maintenance mode Would this work, and how would one do this? This would be a lot simpler than setting a time for maintenance mode in the agent and be more useful since maintenance mode wouldn't depend on a time, but on a script no matter when it runs.

Hi Pulseway Users, We are moving over to the new amazing Pulseway Antivirus. After some research we have found our Kaspersky doesn't play well with others. It would be good if someone could come up with a script that would automatically remove the usually programs (ESET, Malwarebytes, Super Antispyware, Norton, ETC). This would save us having to jump onto a computer to remove all these items before we push out the Kaspersky installation etc. Any ideas? Thanks Phil

Hi. I am making an Automation Script that updates a custom plugin-file, that might is always be in use, to a newer version. If the plugin doesn't already exist everything works fine. But if it already exist it cannot be overwritten, because the Pulseway Service (and managers, if any are running) is using the file. My solution is to stop the service, overwrite the file and start the service. It works very well when executing manually in ISE, but not when executed as an Automation Script from Pulseway. I need to a workflow to assign patch policy based on the hostname of the computer. Are computers have a naming convention of L00 (for laptops) and D00 (for desktops). So basically I need any computer that starts with a L00 or D00 to get a specific policy and if not get a different one. Can I get some assistance with this please.
