Since Pulseway forced an update to 9.7 roughly a week ago connecting to clients has been extremely difficult. Almost 100% of the time when attempting to remote control via the app it sits at "Starting remote control Session..." for about a minute before giving the message in the attached image "Connection timeout while trying to start the remote control session." G'Day, I'm really loving your product and so far only have it installed on 2 of my machines. Ideally I would like to put it on all of my main machines here at home which is 4 machines or 5 if I include another laptop. I'm wondering if there is any chance you might consider raising the free usage threshold from 3 to 4 or maybe 5 machines? These days almost all homes with computers have one for each person so that is most likely going to be 4. Raising free usage to 4 or 5 would still not really allow it to be used for free in a commercial environment (which I firmly believe should be paid for) but would allow greater home usage. I'm wondering if I could be explained how security is implemented in this application. I'm basically leaving enough information via the PC-Monitor's server, that if information into the wrong hands, they could take full control over my server and PC's.

Maybe a stupid question, but I don't get it. Where can I remove a monitored Computer? I've deleted the service on the client - but still see the Computer in the App and the Online Page. By the way - keep up with the very good work!

Hi, Ive been reading a few topics and seen that the free limit used to be up to 5 computers, I don't have much intention of having more but could do with being able to link up to all 5 is this possible to do with out having to buy a subscription every year? im not using them for business just personal use should that make any difference. As a test I've installed the client service on an eee netbook running Windows XP Home SP3. A few times a minute, there is a an application log information event from PC Monitor "PowerEvent handled successfully by the service". Timing is random - between events I've seen as few as 6 seconds and as many as 30 or so, but it's at least twice per minute since I installed the service. I don't see these events on my other machines (Asus G73 notebook Win7 x64 and HP DL380G3 Win2003 Enterprise x32). I use the free version on 3 PCs. I've recently upgraded the operating system on one of my PCs. I now receive the message "Your account has 4 registered computers and the computer limit is 3. While . . . " However, only 3 computers are registered, only 3 computers appear in my user interface. Solution?

I am the Director of a medical company with about 50-55 end users and 10 servers (some virtual, some physical). Do I need to install PC Monitor on EVERYBODY's machine and SERVERS? Or Do you have a Server based software that I can install and will go out into the network and grab data? Hello, I am using hibernation a lot. I got a notification on my Samsung Galaxy S3 when my pc is going to Hibernation, but not when it returns from hibernation. Notifications for shutdown, startup (after shutdown), and offline are working like a charm. The option "Send a notification when the computer has resumed from a suspended state " is turned on. I am using windows 8 pro X64. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you in advance!

Hi I currently have 9 PC's monitored, 8 on a business network and my home pc. I'm trying to use the Remote desktop connection feature, but my problem is that all the business PC's are showing the same IP, so if I try to remote desktop it will only connect to the server no matter which pc I select. Is there a setting that I've missed that will change the IP number or something else I'm doing wrong? Thanks Nick

Dear All, I am quite a new PC Monitor user and I'd like to ask the respected gurus a very simple question. We are actually monitoring our servers via some kind of a manufacturer's cloud. What I mean by that is that my server reports its data to the manufacturers's server (cloud) and mobile devices are getting data from this cloud as well. Since I have the access to the file system via the mobile client, WHAT is the guarantee that I will be the only one capable of browsing my server file system? What will prevent someone else from doing that? Manufacturer's employees or their friends? How secure is this application? Thank you.

I am testing the free version for the company I work for to make sure this is what we want. So far this program is perfect for what we are looking for. The only problem is that we have computers out in the field that I need that I need to be able to remote into and I cant get the remote desktop feature to work. When i set it up here in the office on our network I can connect, but when i have a computer setup on a wireless card (different network) I can connect. Is there a feature or a service i need to enable to make it work? I did change to settings for the IP address when it changed networks. I am in the process of testing PC Monitor and I noticed Remote Desktop Connection in the dashboard. I completely turned off the firewall on client's computer but it still comes back with error "Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons" My questions are: 1. is it enabled in the free account or do I need a valid paid subscription? 2. is it to control that particular computer just like sitting at it? 3. is it available for a client's computer running other than Windows Pro?
