General discussions about using Pulseway

  1. I spent a while trying to find this issue here but didn't so I need to ask: How can I ensure the Pulseway service stays on for each of the remote devices in my domain? I set them all up and now many of them are turning off all by themselves. Some won't stay on at all.

I am a new vpn user and I have insufficient knowledge about vpn. I just confused that l2tp and ikev2 are uses ipsec for data security, so why both are use as a protocol.

  3. Since Pulseway forced an update to 9.7 roughly a week ago connecting to clients has been extremely difficult. Almost 100% of the time when attempting to remote control via the app it sits at "Starting remote control Session..." for about a minute before giving the message in the attached image "Connection timeout while trying to start the remote control session." Sometimes the systems you are trying to connect to will go offline in Pulseway after the failed attempt; however, they are most certainly still online since I can RDP from systems right next to them that I also happen to be connected to via Pulseway. They will come back online in Pulseway a minute or two later a…

Our Pulseway instance has been incredibly slow to load, through Remote Control client and the Web UI. Actions take several seconds, sometimes up to a minute to perform. It has been happening intermittently over the past couple of weeks, but today is especially noticeable. Is anybody else experiencing this? I've tried two different ISPs and experiencing the same issue on both.

hi i'm new to team account is there a way for me to create a user for an end customer, and limit that user so he'll be able to do only specific actions on the agent? i've found the policies, which i've seen i can make those limitations there. and i've found that i can apply those policies to a site, an organization or an agent group. but how can i apply them so they limit the user via those policies? i could only find team permissions but it's only full/no/read only - nothing in between what am i missing here? thank you

There is currently a feature request in for Huntress to build a ticket integration for the Pulseway PSA. Whether you use Huntress or not, getting integrations like this with major products can only help the product and its community grow. Please go add your vote for Pulseway to build this integration here: https://huntress.canny.io/integrations/p/pulseway-psa-integration

We run a series of game servers and pc monitor is great to notify when an application crashes. However when it crashes users are disconnected and are unable to reconnect. Typically I'll update the twitter account to let them know of the status, but it would be great to have the system do it automatically. Possibly with a time stamp? If anyone knows of a way to do it, I'd greatly appreciate it.

  9. We used to be able to see how long a system has been offline, what version of Pulseway was installed, etc. Those are gone now...Is this permanent?

Hello Team Pulseway! Can we assign a ticket to a custom queue by scanning keywords in the subject line? For example, we have made some custom queues for Hardware, Email issue, Epicor, etc. and would like to create rules to scan the subject line for specific keywords and place them in a specific queue and assign them to specific users too. I tried under Admin -> Business process -> Workflow, but it didn't seem readily apparent exactly what I should be doing from there. Also, forgive me if this is a double post, I don't remember if I posted this question already, it's been a crazy couple of days. Thanks! Mario Roberti Myron L …

  11. Due to an issue this month with the Windows updates on some domain controllers I would like to pause (skip) the scheduled updates I have set in Pulsway this month. I assume I could just change the scheduled time to next month but would be way simpler to just be able to click pause. Is there a pause option? Do i need to change the scheduled time of the update or is there a better way? Cheers :-)

  12. Hi, I'm studying Pulseway, so far I liked the way to monitor Sqlserver with custom queries. It's all I need for Sqlserver. But, so far, I didn't find a way to monitor Oracle Database. There is a way to monitor Oracle? Even with custom script? Thanks in advance. D.

Hi At the moment I'm running a 30-day trial of Pulseway Enterprise. Our users are working on terminal servers. Is it possible shadow a remote session through the Pulseway App for Windows Phone? I have added one terminal server and enabled "Remote Desktop" in the Pulseway Manager. But in the mobile app I can't see any option for remote desktop. Rgds

So, I'm currently dealing with a pretty urgent issue that unfortunately, I am at the mercy of whenever the devs look into it. None of my tasks will run which means I'm dead in the water for a lot of my custom automation. This is terrible. I assume based on talks with staff over time, that these are something like VPS instances that area spun up? I asked regular Support to reboot my instance for the sake of it as scripts run, but tasks to control them do not, they just immediately say skipped. It's amazing what reboot can fix at times, and then Support can dig in later to figure out what happened, if the reboot works. But I was told no can do, only devs have ac…

  19. Our US hosting provider has announced planned storage maintenance for Thursday May 25th between 06:00am and 07:00am EST. This work will enhance our storage availability and will impact any Pulseway SaaS customers hosted in the US data center. There may be intermittent disruption to service during this time, but in the unlikely event of this happening, it will only be for a few minutes. Pulseway apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you, thank you; Nice to see 4.0.11.1 now. There were a few fixes we were waiting for that the release notes say are fixed. Good work. Also, I noticed the new feature in Workflows. Fantastic that we can now change tickets with tokens in emails. We used this feature all the time in another ticket system we had. Thank you again,

Hi. We now have various systems running the upgrade to Windows 11. Despite the global rule 21H2 --> Don´t Install Can someone please send (urgently) clear, complete instructions what to do, how? Group policy is out of the question as some devices are running as workstations. I hope someone from the tech team will take care of this entry. And no, users did not click "Update".

  22. Hi, I am monitoring a number of systems remotely for a number of customers and have found that if for any reason they lose their internet connection, all their systems appear on our dashboard as offline. I understand why this is happening, but is there some method within Pulseway to recognise when the remote internet connection is down so that the alerts/notifications can be ignored? Thanks

  24. Hello, I have a quick question regarding offline notifications. I've seen evidence of the ability to set up notifications through the mobile app when a server goes offline for more than 15 minutes via the PC interface, However I have not been able to figure this out. Is this feature available on the free plan, or is it hidden somewhere for Pro plan and higher?
