Consider this scenario: You have 10 servers that have a variety of roles / features installed. And you decide to add a new piece of software you just acquired that adds a SaaS managing application in all your offices. You create a Mobile PC Monitor Patch that contains steps (just like rules with conditions and actions): 1. I was wondering if there was a plan to monitor website like the ping check but it would go onto a website and look for a specific string of text every X minutes to make sure it is loading correctly. Maybe it could even be a plugin? This would be great and we could use this for all our monitoring not just the base servers. Thanks Allan

On the iPad and iPhone monitoring app, would it be possible to have a larger window for Send a Message? If the message is a multi-line message, you cannot see the complete message, or the layout. Cannot tell if the receiver is going to receive the entire message or not. Txs

Hi Guys, We just started to use PC Monitor to monitor our network it's a great product! We have got a few requests/ideas that could be quite usefull: Is it possible that an associated account can get owner rights with a extra option or someting, so that account can edit the computer settings in the Dashboard app We would like te see which account had installed new applications on a computer, now you can only see the installed application name, version and publisher. The search option In the mobile app should be more advanced, for now we got a total of 233 computer in the computer list with all kinds of group names and a lot of computers have the same computer name, so …

Please can you create a .deb and .rpm installers for the Linux client. Would make super easy for people to install. It would be as simple as this... wget http://example.com/pcmonitor.deb dpkg -i pcmonitor.deb /etc/init.d/pcmonitor start

I'm not sure if this is able to be done, but a WSUS module would be awesome. Something that would let us sync up the servers and approve updates. Combined with the existing ability to install updates from PC Monitor, that entire part of my job would be able to be done from a phone.

Linux Commands such as Yum update (As compared to Windows Update). eg. yum update * or yum update all Linux version should have its own set of update options, and Options to restart services such as httpd (command - service httpd restart) mysql (command - service mysqld restart / service mysql restart) cpanel (command - service cpanel restart) . Another to update antivirus command: freshclam (to update Clam AV) options to Update or run scripts on the linux server to get information. These are not only easy for your team, they would require very little coding.

Hi - currently, if a pc's OS is trashed & the OS is re-installed (same hardware, same pc name), re-adding it to PC monitor does not overwrite the "dead" entry of the previous installation - is this something that could this be implemented at some stage please ?

Can we not have some sort of functionality to inform us that there is a new client update, or that specific servers a running outdated versions of PC monitor on the actual PC client which I have on a screen in my office monitoring my servers? Just something that gives a broad overview as to what servers are running what version at a glance.

Hi guys, have you thought up your program to run on Windows 8? MetroUI would be a great app, and it would be very comfortable to work on computers with screens bigger and richer than those of a tablet or a phone. Here is a beta tester if they decide to do ;-)

Dear developers, we are using your fantastic software since a week. Right now: Your tool rescued my weekend by reporting an administrative error. A downtime statistic would be interesting for me. We work with external it consultants and i have to controll them. Therefore it would help to get a detailed statistic of each machine. Our contractors guarantee an specified service level. This consists of an ratio uptime to downtime etc. Is to implement this feature possible? We need the downtime of machines, services and special server components like Exchange, SQL etc. With best regards Carsten

Would it be possible to put load all event logs from chosen servers into one area on PC Monitor? I have set up the event log notification after following the thread in another post (thanks Paul).

Hello, I would really love to know when my computer was last seen online (Date and Time if possible). This information should be included when the computer is offline. It's useful to know when the computer got offline if you don't actually monitor it's power state. Any comments on this? Thanks.

Dear Mobile PC Monitor Team I am using your terrific program over a year now and am still stunned, by the sheer possibilities, PC Monitor offers me while I am away from my PC. But there are two thing that I miss and I can't believe i am the first to suggest this: I want to start a predefined Command directly. E.g.: gpupdate /force, ipconfig /renew, ... small things, one Command with arguments to start exactly when i push the button I know there is a workaround with scheduled task set in the future and be started manually, but that should be a workaround, not a feature. i use the scheduled command only for this one purpose. When logging to the web dashboard there is no option to remember password or keep me logged in. Its frustrating to have to keep logging back in all the time

I found that seeing the 'Available Memory' was a little confusing at first. As im used to seeing 'Memory Used'. Would it be possible to add an option that would read something like 500MB of 1024MB Memory Used Also adding a percentage used would make it very easy to quickly see what is going on with memory usage.

I have been wondering if it is possible to create a golden image against a Group. This will allow the same settings to be rolled out to all computers in that group. Just an idea.

Hi - is it possible to show why a pc is not online ? eg offline(hibernated), offline(suspended) etc ?

I would love to use PC Monitor for my organization. However, our security policies require two factor authentication. I would like to see something similar to LogMeIn, where, upon logging in, the user is (optionally) emailed a one time use code before access is granted.

I would love to see the current badPwdCount and badPasswordTime (as reflected in ADSI Edit) shown when looking at a user in Active Directory. Currently only the Logon Count is shown which isn't very informative by itself .. Thanks! Bill

I noticed that there is a hide known system processes option. But even though I have that checked, it still shows PCMonitor.exe in the running system processes. The security in which this software has is very nice. But the ease of someone just pressing ctrl, alt, del and ending the process altogether seems to defeat the purpose of the security. Is there any possible way to add such a feature that either the processes simply do not show or not allow a user to end the process in the way that ie. 'System Idle Process' will not allow you? Or maybe there is already a way this could be done? Please let me know. Thank you.

Not sure if anyone might find this helpful but 2 way chat may be helpful from within the app... Another feature which would be nice is keyboard/mouse in use. I have this feature with logmein and it is great as you might hesitate rebooting or performing a task which may affect the user currently logged in like applying windows updates...

Greetings (again) ... PC Monitor is one heck of an Application ... well done. Your Roadmap looks impressive. Does it have a "side street" for; 1. File Management: Delete Files/Folders with multi-file select capability? 2. View files: (.txt, .ini, .xml, maybe .pdf, etc.)? Maybe .jpg, .png, .bmp too. 3. Start/Close an Application (from an approved list for PC Monitor)? 4. Ability to have a selected file attached and emailed from a monitored PC? I am quite curious where PC Monitor is headed regarding file and Application level actions for monitored PCs. Thank you.
