I have a weird fluctuation of memory usage of PCMonitorsrv depending on the server. Nothing huge and I'm pretty sure it has to do with what all it is monitoring on said server. But right now my mem usage from PCmon ranges from 24MB on a server to 124MB on another. What is everyone reading mem usage wise? NOTE: Again, not an issue as the servers have tons of RAM...more curious

I only need to monitor 1 server but I only see an option to purchase a subscription for 5. How can I get a subscription for 1 server?

Hi, I have managed to install the general PC Monitor apps on my desktop computer, laptop computer and my mobile phone. All of these are running windows 8. However I believe I have to install the agent software also and when I try to install this on my desktop and laptop it just comes up with an error saying "There is a problem with this installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run". I have downloaded it a few times now to make sure it's not corrupted in any way but to no avail. I am trying to run the 64 bit version. Any idea's? Pete.

Hi I've been using PC monitor for a couple of weeks. But now, I don't receive any notifications, except one: "Your server modules has ended. You can get a subscription by pressing the subscription details button in the PC monitor manager [...]" I'm only using 1 PC to monitor, with 3 attached devices and it's for non commercial use. I thought it was free !??! When I go to the "subscription details", I can only set the number of computers. Minimum is 5, and the lowest price the soft asks me to pay is 45€ for one year ! Hey Ive found that since I installed pc monitor on my windows 7 pc, it keeps waking up from hibernation at round 1-1.30am every day. I don't know if this is due to pcmonitor or just a coincidence and something else is doing it. Is there any way I can get it to log every call/command which is run through pcmonitor, so I can see if it is something pcmonitor is executing, or something more intrinsic with my pc Thanks

How should one upgrade to 3.7 in WinXP? I tried sending an upgrade command from my Android app and nothing happened. I also tried downloading the latest Windows Agent from the website and the install process would close on its own after executing. Afterwards, it still shows 3.6. What gives? Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I have 3 kids at school all of which have the Windows 8 Surface (Windows RT). Is there a Pc Monitor Agent I can run on these? I seem to be only able to find the PC Monitor in the Windows Store however this does not allow me to see these computers from my PC running the Dashboard. Thanks in advance Cameron

I am currently testing PC Monitor on a workstation. When I do a proper Start=> shutdown, I get an email (shutting down). When I get back into Windows, I get an email (up and running). When I pull the plug on the workstation (simulating a sudden stop), I don't get an email telling me it is offline. Is it possible for PC Monitor to send out an email for abrupt shutdowns? I've seen other simliar PC monitoring programs linking two workstations together allowing for systems to monitor each other and send out notifications if a system suddenly shutsdown. Thanks.

We just installed windows 8 on a couple of computers and so far mobilepcmonitor works almost as expected and with no difference from windows 7. Almost that is, because the wake-up function does not seem to work anymore. Any idea what could be causing this? No settings on the router were changed after swapping to windows 8. cheers, e

I can't seem to get this to work properly. Seems OK from over the LAN if the PC is in sleep mode. Does not WoL from hiberation or powered off....that would be nice to get that working to and get true WoL functionality. I've even got port forwarding on my ASUS RT-N66U router forwarding ports 7 and 9 on UDP to the static IP of my PC. But no WoL over the WAN. Has anybody got this to work properly?

Hi, I've been using PC Monitor a while now but recently I've been uanble to use comamnds (lock, restart, hibernate etc) when a certain computer is on. I can use the wake up feature and it will wake up but I'm unable to use any further commands after this. Any idea what could be causing it? Windows 7 iOS 6.0.1

Hi got it all working with my iPhone and ipad to turn on Pc and shut down over wifi but if I try 3G it shuts it Down but will not wake it back up. I have forwarded Ports 9 and 7 on my netgear 2200 router. What else do I need To do

I have an issue with WIndows Group Policy Unattended Installation. The initial package installed correctly, I created a transform file with Orca and successfully rolled out PC Monitor to the desktop PC's. I noted after a couple of weeks that not all of them seemed to be auto updating correctly,when a new release came out so I downloaded the up to date MSI and in Group Policy selected to redeploy the application (I tested this in a test envirumnet first and it redeployed Ok) however on this domain it appears to have partially uninstalled the application so the files have been removed from c:\program files etc but the PCMonitor still appears as a service although obvious…

Notification on when a website or app pool is down is the main reason I'm looking into this software. Originally I shut down a single site for 30 minutes with no alerts to mobile device or email, I've had IIS completely off for the past 45 minutes with no alerts of any kind. Is there something I'm missing?

since I renewed my subscription yesterday 2 of my servers are having the same problem. In the event viewer I get 3 information notifications, the first one is event ID 0 service started successfully, the second event ID 24001 new update found and the third service stopped successfully. I am using Version 3.2 build 4668 on Windows server 2008 R2 64 bit. Any idea what could be causing this? cheers

Hello. I've been using pcmonitor for over a year now and it's working great. I do have 1 situation with it running on a Windows 2008 R2 server running in terminal services mode. There is a copy of the pcmontask.exe process running for every user logged onto the terminal server. I found the startup key in the registry at: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and have removed the key several times, only to find it's there the next time I check. I configured pcmonitor on this server to NOT update the client automatically but that's had no effect. Most of my servers are headless and are accessed via RDP, i can only use screen view if someone is logged into the physical console. is there a way to wake up the console

I have written a command-line python script to login to our access control system and unlock doors, then added a scheduled task for each door on one of our servers where PC Monitor is installed. I've then selected each task in System > Scheduled Tasks in PC Monitor Manager 3.2. I can run the tasks by hand from Task Scheduler, but not from Mobile PC Monitor. I've tried from four different mobile devices (Nexus 7, Samsung Infuse, Droid Razr and Droid Bionic) and the command is sent, but the task is never triggered.
