Is there a way to make PCmonitor restart my windows 8 PC, run a scheduled task or batch file if it sends an offline notification?

Hi there, I'm currently evaluating Pulseway and one of the important features for our use case is to see the Command line of individual processes. (eg if you run Task Manager and right click the columns, 'Command line' is an option there.) This is due to one of the applications that we run spinning up multiple instances - the command line helps us differentiate which instance is running what as they are started with different parameters. Is there any way of achieving this? I did a quick search but it doesn't seem like this topic has come up previously that I can see. Thanks in advance! Dan

Hello, Im trying to install the client on a windows 11 64 bit OS. Im getting the following error: pulsway error 1001 installutillib.dll: corbindtoruntimehost (hr=0x80070003):the system cannot find the path specified This is a fresh win11 install. There is no pulsway service running Nothing installed in either program files nor program files X86 tried the net stop "PC Monitor" and sc delete "PC Monitor" came back with nothing to stop. Hi All! I am excitedly coming to the end of a trial and about to commit to deploying Pulseway, so I hope I will be a regular contributor to this group. A niggling issue I am having is we have a number of devices with HostNames greater than 15 characters. When I install the agent, and it displays in the UI it is truncating any additional letters after the (NETBIOS compliant) 15 characters. Anyone else also experiencing this issue? Any guidance on how to work around it? Cheers Simon

Hello, I can wake up my computer while I am on the same network but when I am on another network and try it it says, “Wake up command failed.” I have ports 7 and 9 forwarded and in windows firewall. How can I fix this? Thanks!

Hello. I'm just trying out the product, which looks quite good. I have a few questions. Is it possible to set a timeframe for when you don't accept alerts, for example, Not to receive alerts in the middle of the night? Is it possible to manually trigger a check of a monitored system? How often are monitored systems checked? Is it possible to change a monitored system's settings without having to log into the system, for example, is it possible to change the settings of a monitored system from the pulseway.com dashboard? So I can't install the Pulseway Agent on a Windows 2019 Server. I installed it on 21 servers, but on this one fails. The error "The installer was interrupted before Pulsenay could be installed. You need to restart the installer to try again." I tried installing the certificate, it changed nothing.

I am new to Pulseway, and have noticed that when I deploy manually by downloading the .msi and running as a local admin that the Pulseway Manager shortcuts get added to the desktop and the start menu. However, if I use a probe and deploy via mass deployment that the agent still gets deployed but without any shortcuts. Is there a way to replicate this behavior (no shortcuts) when running locally? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Don't know if its allready in Pulseway (Was not able to find it) We would like to make Tags or Something based on Asset info. Like; All Dell Systems (Desktop/Laptops) All HP Systems (Desktops / Laptops) So we match on; Asset info: Manufacturer and OS Tag that should be made; Dell Systems with Windows 10 for example Filter: Manufacturer = Dell Inc. and OS = Windows 10

Hi all; it seems that my agent status is persistently 'assigning' with regard to assigning "patch policies." I attempted to delete the policy - however, I receive the error that the 'policy is in use.' I even unregistered the pc agents, then 're registered' to no avail. Attached is a illustration of my conundrum. Any advice would serve me well.

I believe this to be related to Microsoft no longer support Basic Authentication, however I'm unable to fix the issue. Our Email Parser in Service Desk is no longer able to connect and staying as Inactive. The email account/user is fine, and we can send to and from it through Outlook and external email services. I've run through the steps found here https://intercom.help/pulseway/en/articles/5488944-oauth2-0-for-microsoft-o365-with-psa-email-parser to enable OAuth 2.0, but I still get the same error: Any ideas?

Hi I have created a Patch Policy, and when to Agent Status, selected a Scope or Group (I tried both) and then assigned the policy However, if new agents are installed and part of the correct Scope or Group, they do not get the policy assigned. The Status shows as 'Not Assigned' What is the correct way to ensure that any new agent installation gets the correct patch management policy automatically without any manual intervention? Thanks

Ideally I would like to utilize Pulseway to prevent my users from upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Since there isn't an ideal way to do this (at least not that I've come across), I'd like to know if there is a way that I could setup a notification so that I am alerted if someone does this. Any suggestions appreciated. Right now I am doing manual spot-checks of the Systems under Configuration > Organizations.

I am testing new endpoint policies and testing inheritance on some of the different scopes/groups I have deployed. I am still waiting for my test endpoint device to adopt the applied endpoint policy(s). Is there a way to force the PCMonitorManager to check the see if a new endpoint policy has been applied?

How can I set an alert so that when a Win10Pro Administrator level user account logins I receive an alert? Side request: does anyone know a way (Win10Pro) to give a Administrator Level User Account Runas ability while setting deny local login? I understand it might be possible via a GPO? I have a location (Peer-To-Peer) where all the Windows User accounts are being set to Standard Users and they will have a 2nd User account in some cases to allow Runas ability. I'm new to pulseway and SNMP. I'm trying to set up SNMP to monitor a Synology RACKSTATION using their MIB guide, but every OID I try returns either NoSuchInstance or NoSuchObject. I really can't see why this is happening. I am using SNMP v3. Any ideas?

Hello! A few questions and i hope I posted it in correct forum Has anyone used Pulseway in offline mode? If to use pulseway in online mode, can you specify which softwares to download auto and can you access that folder? My issue is that I wonder if Pulseway has the option, where I can specify all the software updates needed, it downloads it automatically and then i can copy this to a usb or such and then take it to a replication pulseway setup but that has no internet, upload the folder with updates and then Pulseway pushes it to the clients from that folder or usb. Softwares is a mix of 3rd party + windows/office updates Is above doable? …

Seemed pretty simple to set this up in the Pulseway Manager (9.2) Application on Windows (target PC). Sending the test eMail worked perfectly. I then tried sending a file from the web application (running on a different windows machine) - email pick don't even show up. Only Delete & Cancel are shown. Restarted Pulseway service on target machine - email pick not shown Complete reboot of target machine - email pick not shown Next tried the mobile client on Android (version 12) - email pick not shown So does this feature really work? I have no problem sending / receiving the test email but no chance to even try sending files.
