Lukasz reacted to a post in a topic: Cannot Login using Android App, getting 295 error

Little late to this thread but I am having this exact issue trying to login to the Pulseway app on my iPad. I enter my instance name and login credentials, I approve the 2FA request on my phone, then I get the Object reference error and get sent back to the login screen. Any fix for this?

How do i add Pulseway Agent to download from Configurations?
Paul replied to Martin Petersson's topic in Mac
Hey @Martin Petersson, We don't support custom installers for macOS just yet however this is something that we're considering for the future. Sorry for that! -Paul -

Hey Folks, I figured it out, all is good. What concerns me is that no one from Pulseway commented or offered help, this has been posted for 3 days. I thought that is what the forums were for, including helping each other. Thanks, Craig

Hello guys. I am a Mac user administrator and have been trying to use Pulseway platform and for the most of time web interface works ok. I have Mac computers (Desktop and laptops ) deployed in my company and Support and Development team is a joke at Pulseway. I had a really bed experience since we started using the platform since February. I Opened 3 Tickets regarding this issue and since February was not fixed and resolved. Pulseway simpluy ignores and does not take you seriously 9 months passed and i can not use Remote Control or remote host from any of my Mac Computers !. So if you have a mac as administrator forget about "Pulseway Remote Control" app on mac !. You will have to use third part apps and pay extra like me. Teamviewer, Anydesk or another RMM provider which i tested before Pulseway and worked on mac just fine to remote in to monitored machines. But Unfortunately not on mac. It fails to work on Intel based Mac , Apple Sillicon M3, theonly one other machine i could get it to work is M1 Only !! but with the recent update it started crashing a lot. I m very disapointed that Mac Development team does not do any serious work on getting "Pulseway Remote Control" work on all Apple computers. Others can. So if you need a remote control an Macs think twice and test it using their Trial signup before committing to Lockable Contracts !. I hope that someone will take that issue seriously and fix that ASAP. Frustrating

I have 1 Debian computer for which Wake Up works. I have 1 Windows computer for which Wake Up works. Now I have build one new Windows computer on which Wake up Command Failed, while sending a magic package in a differtent way the computer wakes up. Now I have on the first Windows computer Debian installed, Wake up Command Failed, while sending a magic package in a differtent way the computer wakes up. So for all new agent installs, wake up does not work anymore :-(

Hi, I'm also running into this issue. Initially the iOS app wouldn't let me log in, getting the object reference error. After deleting and reinstalling the app it looked like I was logged in but got the "application version" error. Logged out and tried to log back in and i'm back at the "object reference" error.

Anyone using PW, to push a updated Root Cert to windows clients?
Paul replied to Mahesh De Silva's topic in General
Hey @Mahesh De Silva, Try using this batch script (remember to add each line in the pem file in the script as separate echo calls): (@echo -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- & echo line1 & echo line2 & echo line3 & echo -----END CERTIFICATE-----)>warp.cer & certutil -addstore ca warp.cer & certutil -addstore root warp.cer -Paul -
Yes, I agree with this. Bulk actions for selected multiple tickets.

Hi, I have not been able to login to to the Android app for the last 7-10 days. It's the same password that I use to login to my dashboard and the Web Interface. In the last 3 days I don't even get the app popup for approval on my phone for the Web Login. I use to get it even if I was not logged into the Android App. I think this is the first time I've had to login to the Android app since I first installed in, years ago. I have not changed my phone, the domain I use on the Android app is the same domain in my Dashboard & Web logins. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Craig

Hey @Bccdoug - Sorry to see you're still having issues, your Account Manager is aware of your issue and will reach out today. Once she reaches out, if you have any screenshots to help us understand what exactly isn't working, please send them over. The re-authentication shouldn't happen as often after our fix was applied.

I'm still receiving this as well. Have been for a couple weeks. It continued to allow me to use the app for notifications for a while but since logging out now I nothing works.
-
Hey @Bwilson - I understand, please keep an eye, screenshot it, and send it to marketing@pulseway.com so I can forward it to the team.
-
Hey @Damian Lynch - I just tried it out on the platform now and can see it for all my offline devices. I can see their asset info including Make, Model, and serial number in case you need to log a warranty case. If you need help finding it, feel free to send an email to marketing@pulseway.com

Was this ever looked at as a feature?

Hi Guys, I've cobbled together a workflow using Powershell that looks at membership of the local Administrators group and that output is emailed to me. That's gone without issue but I want to refine it and that's where I'm struggling. So I know that in our case, every machine's local admin group has some membership, i.e. the local admin account and our domain admins group. I want to filter these machines out and have email results for only those where there's anything more than those "defaults". Get-LocalGroupMember -Group 'Administrators' | Where-Object {$_.PrincipalSource -ne 'Local' -and $_.Name -ne 'MyDomain\Administrator' -and $_.Name -ne 'MyDomain\Domain Admins'} | Select-Object -Property 'Name','PrincipalSource' This code works locally and using Pulseway's remote Powershell function. What I was hoping to do was to basically skip a system if the output of the code was blank or null. For systems where I haven't received any output back when using Pulseway's Powershell, I guess I don't know if the output is actually completely empty or not. I also don't know if using Pulseway's variable function is considered separately to the Powershell environment the code gets run in, if that makes sense? When I try to run the workflow on a single machine I always get emailed the results, even when the return from the Powershell is blank. I'm not brilliant with Powershell so have been searching around for alternatives. I was wondering about return codes perhaps but could I also put these into a Pulseway workflow?

@Anne I'm not too concerned about the phone app, nor the web interface, just the dashboard (Desktop Apps > Dashboard), being shown on a TV in the middle of the office, no keyboard or mouse plugged in, just looks bad when we suddenly get the ticker advising us to re-authenticate. We've already re-authenticated today, and if it comes back tomorrow I'll screenshot it to show exactly what I mean.

Consistent Connection Issues following update to 9.7
PFMsupport replied to PFMsupport's topic in General
The issue is still present yes. Each client we connect to appears to work fine after that first 3-4 minutes to connect so they are likely updating after our connection attempt. We still have over 550 terminals to connect to and do maintenance. Is there a way to trigger client updates without attempting to connect? -
Hey @Bwilson & @tristan - I believe the issue has been resolved and you shouldn't have to re-authenticate every so often. Please note there are timeout sessions after a certain period where you would need to log back in but the re-authentication should be resolved. Please let me know if the issue persists.
-
Hey @PFMsupport - Thanks for the update. I just want to make sure I understand, is the issue still present or has this been resolved?
