I’ve been using Pulseway to monitor and manage systems remotely, but recently I ran into some performance and compatibility questions that I can’t entirely figure out.

In certain setups—especially when dealing with emulated software or media tools—system files and low‑level configurations can impact how smoothly everything runs. I found this site while researching BIOS and related system files, but I’m not totally sure how this relates to actual performance on monitored machines.

Has anyone experienced issues where specific system files or BIOS configurations affected application performance or stability? Any tips on what to check first would be really helpful!

 Here's what I'd suggest checking first when monitoring through Pulseway RMM:

1. Hardware Inventory & BIOS Version – Use Pulseway to pull the current BIOS version on monitored machines. Outdated BIOS firmware can cause instability, particularly with virtualization or hardware acceleration features.

2. Performance Monitoring Baselines – Set up CPU, RAM, and disk performance alerts in Pulseway so you can correlate any spikes with specific application activity. This helps isolate whether the issue is BIOS/hardware-level or OS/software-level.

3. Event Log Monitoring – Pulseway's Windows Event Log monitoring is great for catching hardware-related warnings (e.g., disk errors, driver failures) that may stem from BIOS/firmware conflicts.
