Hi guys, I'm new to Pulseway ans i must say that it's a great software. I'm using the Ubuntu version. I'd like to monitor (and restart if necessary) my plex media server process. I can't figure out how the config.xml "services" section works. I'm using "sudo service plexmediaserver start" to start Plex ... Can anyone help me with that issue ? Thanks Best regards, Thibault.

We are using pulse way to monitor our web server. It is unbuntu and the problem I am having is with basic configuration. I am really unsure how to tell pulseway to monitor the mysql, apache and nginx services. Could someone show me an example configuration for these services?

I'm getting an error in the Ping status on my Linux server, running Debian 8 (Linux x86_64 3.16.0-4-amd64 according to the agent info) It says there is an error, but there are no details on what the error is. When I manually ping 8.8.8.8 from the Command Line, it works fine, both from the server itself and from the Webapp terminal. Hello, Have a number of Ubuntu 16.04 workstations with agent 5.3.3 installed. The daemon starts without error (nothing logged in syslog), but doesn't appear to report back. There are 15 units at this particular site, and only one has reported back since installation. They are all running kernel 4.10.0-42. I can't find any error messages in the obvious logs (/var/log/syslog - in particular). Appreciate any direction you can offer.

Hi all! When I am running the pulseway-registration command in the terminal of my Ubuntu server, I am receiving the error: "An error encountered while processing the request. Please check the logs." I have installed the latest Pulseway agent onto a newly installed Ubuntu server and after a couple of issues getting the server registered i was able to do so, this was due to it not having a config.xml file after intallation I renamed the config.xml.sample and added my details and this now shows in my dashboard. Now that the server is showing in the dashboard it keeps dropping on and offline. The server has a stable internet connection and a windows 10 machine on the same network is not having an issue with dropouts. Any ideas as to what could be causing the issue are welcome.

I have installed the x64 RPM file on a CentOS 6 system. I have configured the config.xml as attached (it has been sanitised). Is there a way to install pc monitor on Raspberry Pi running Openelec? I can connect to the Raspberry pi via ssh but commands are limited. There’s no dpkg command nor does apt-get work. Best option of course would be a normal xbmc add-on support. Would that be possible?

So, I looked around the forums a little bit to see if there was anything related to this issue and didn't have much luck. I built a new Gentoo box recently and decided to put pc monitor on it. I emerged rpm and rpm'd the rpm and it created the directory in my /etc and installed correctly (supposedly). I changed the config.xml.sample to config.xml and made the necessary changes. I believe that it is configured correctly and should be working properly but as I went to start the service with /etc/init.d/pcmonitor start I get "pcmonitor could not be found". Sure enough when I cd to that directory there is no pcmonitor, just pcmonitor.suse and another pcmonitor.<other…

When I try to run the upgrade I get??? rpmlib(PayloadIsLzma) <= 4.4.6-1 is needed by pulseway-4.5.4-2.x86_64 Can anyone point me to 4.4.6-1 download or point me in the right direction? Thanks!

If I clone a server with pulseway installed and enabled it seems pulseway see the two servers as the same. How do I get pulseway to recognize the clone as a new server ?

Hi guys 2 new CentOS 6.7 64 bit installations, all works as expected and the agent does its job well however, once machine restarts, agent doesn't start automatically. We need to force it by: /etc/init.d/pulseway start The get around the problem we tried: chkconfig --add pulseway and error comes up: service pulseway does not support chkconfig Any ideas please?

Hi, Running Pulseway dashboard 4.9.5 and I have a linux CentOS 6.8 with latest agent installed, setup on Cron job, it starts but dashboard always shows offline for this server (stays green however), it used to work but gradually stopped... Message from cron: Can you help?

Is it possible to explore mount points on Linux machines like it is on Mac OS machines? With the Linux machines I monitor, I tab on the Hard Disks tab (in iOS app), I can view the mounts and their used/free space, but I can't tap to explore any of them. I can do that for the Mac OS machines I monitor. I don't monitor any Windows machines, but I'm assuming they have that same functionality. Looking over my config file doesn't seem to indicate I missed something, but I'd be happy to be proved wrong.

By the error I understand something is missing. Hello All I have a Pro license for Pulseway currently watching over a PI3 for homebridge, two unRAID server and an unbuntu SFF PC for my PiHole DNS ad blocking, and just recently a Fedora Server 30 VM running on one of the unRAID servers that was working for a couple days when all of a sudden it started crashing a lot and frequently I am kind of stumped, if i manually restart the VM its stable for a while but starts crashing again, I am running kernel 5.3.6-200.fc30.x86_64 as that is the latest my reverse proxy script runs with. the logs are showing core stack dumps like this with different Process ID's of course: Process 22212 (pulsewayd) of user 0 dumped c…

Hi, I have pulseway 6.5 installed on Ubuntu 20.04 My config.xml includes a section which tries to monitor some website responses (two servers on the same LAN). When I query these websites in the WebApp, the pulseway daemon on the server crashes hard and no data is returned. Is this a bug in pulsewayd or an error in my config ? many thanks

By default pulseway reccognizes the systemd services running as root. i want to configure a service which is running as the current user... the service is started using the command "systemctl --user start servicename" the service is placed in the directory "/etc/systemd/user/servicename.service" I have tried using the systemd option in pulseway config, but it is not recognized.
