Windows Server Backup

Windows Server Backup server module

I've added a legacy Win 2008R2 server and need to monitor Windows Server Backup until we can migrate it to a new system - but the option is greyed out in Pulseway Manager WSB is added and the command line options - it's running fine and checked the command line options are working Tried a remove/reinstall - but no joy Any ideas on a way to force it "on" or information on what it's checking to try and find why it's leaving this option disabled Thanks

Hello, I would like to know how we can receive every morning, the report found in "Legacy" -> "Windows Server Backup" with for example just the last 2-3 jobs. Br

  3. I notice that the Android app displays Windows backup success or failure but i wondered if Pulseway can push or email the backup success or failure notifications. Thanks

Hi, we were glad to see the new function of monitoring and managing the Windows Server Backup. The "Validate Requirements and Settings" doesn't bring up an error, but when trying to use the function from an android smartphone the following message appears: "Die Benennung "Get-WBSummary" wurde nicht als Name eines Cmdlet, einer Funktion, einer Skriptdatei oder eines ausführbaren Programms erkannt [...]". https://www.dropbox.com/s/r66uzuyvbdmm2k8/Screenshot_2013-08-30-09-45-02.png Do you have any idea? Thanks in advance Robert

  5. I have 1 server that has been failing to backup now for 2.5 weeks, we have the Windows Server Backup module enabled and we generate a weekly backup report from the mobile app. Backup Report shows that backup has completed however the time shown is the same time the backup starts. Windows backup and Event logs show failures. Attached is the documentations. Windows Server Backup Report.pdf

I know the backup monitoring works from 2008 r2+ natively but is there a way of reporting for sbs 2008? Whether it be event log or power shell driven? Cheers

I am getting an error when I click Validate Requirements and Settings, under Monitor and Manage Windows Backups. The error is (Unsupported operating system version: 6.0.6002). The server is running Windows Server 2008 Standard Service Pack 2. I have tested this on three servers and get the same error. I have configured Power shell impersonation.
