Good morning, I woke up today to an alert from PC Monitor that one of our DC's went down in the middle of the night so naturally I remote in and check. System was up just fine but PC monitor was seemingly uninstalled/missing (~\Program Files\PC Monitor contains a "PCMonitorSrv.InstallState" file along with a couple tmp files). We did our deployment of PC monitor yesterday afternoon and didn't seem to notice any problems. Any ideas? This is on a physical box running 08R2. PC Monitor app version: 3.9 build 77A2 iOS Version: 6.1.2 (10B146) iOS client - Character escaping in Terminal mode makes redirection and argument quoting impossible It looks like non-alphanumeric characters are being escaped before being executed on the destination server. Attempting to use characters like " or > results in broken commands and error message about "quot" or "gt" not being recognized commands. This prevents me from using IO redirection or replacing text with sed. Thankfully the web client does not have this problem. Still, this is a pretty serve limitation for mobile system administration. Hello. First i want to say thanks for such a wonderful software. But i have encountered a problem. I get no notifications when hard drives get under 2 % free space like i used to. The hard drives are not shown under hardware any longer. I have tried to restart the service. What to do? See attached file.

My PC does not show up as online any more. When i press the Validate Account button in the PC application i get this error box "Error: Invalid URI: The hostname could not be parsed." I have restarted the service and the PC, but i doesn't solve the problem. I do have access to the internet via cable and sharing a wireless hotspot for my mobile phone. Any ideas?

Repro: - In the android app (not sure about others), when you have read-only access to a computer - visit either the "Process" or "Service" menu options. - Clicking on a Process or Service in the list gives you an action menu item (eg. "Kill Process", "Cancel"). Although clicking the action reports that the action failed (so we're not talking about a security issue here), there is probably no need to provide these menus when in read-only mode in the first place.

Yeah.. After 2h or something i get a notfication that the computer is offline (its on hibernate) dont know IF that's a bug or IF it should be so.

Hello Forum, i want to configure a Rule without a notification. Apparently this is not possible, as i can uncheck the checkbox for "Send a notification with priority...", but after the save, the box is checked again. Is this a bug? Greetings Markus

I Noticed when using the Dashboard with an 25% (or larger) increased fontsize that every watched computer info gets cutoff, see the attached info. The reason for the choice of larger fontsize is that i hus a FullHD screen and to be able to read the info from a distance i need the larger size .....not an age thing ;-)

I'm running PC Monitor and all is well. Except for the fact that it seems to be locking files at OS level. Mainly when I'm running my VirtualBox image with a raw disk I get the following error: Failed to open image: '<filename>' for writing due to wrong permissions (ERR_VD_IMAGE_READ_ONLY). I have found that disabling the PC Monitor service will let me start the VirtualBox image correctly. I have tried this several times. Therefore I can only conclude that PC Monitor is blocking the write mode. However I'm not sure whether it is the vmdk file or the physical disk itself that is locked by PC Monitor. I have already taken a look to another topic in bugs section regarding "Offline Servers that aren't offline" So I already startet the local installation on that Server and Click validate Account. When I register a new computer on my account, I find an additional (duplicate) entry in the list of computers. In this case, I added a 5th computer to my free account, and now I get a notification that I have registered 6 computers.

Hello, I've setup the event log filter on a few hosts on my network to log bad logon events. It works sometimes which is weird .. it seems to be completely random when I do and don't receive the alerts and notifications. Sometimes they go through just fine, other times I can try to enter a bad password 10 times (to test) and receive nothing. Under event log filter here is what I have: Event Logs: Security Level: Audit Failure Event IDs: 4625, 529, 530, 531, 532, 533, 534, 535, 536, 537 Notification Priority: Elevated Any ideas? thanks!

I don't know for how long, but no more then 2 weeks, I can not see the processor temperature from both of my servers any more. I don not see them on my Ipad and Iphone any more.the only thing that shows up under "hardware details" are the hdd details.

I Just installed on three computers one on a vista fresh oem install and two on windows xp. Windows Service is running and I do have updated pending. Have re installed this software many times on all three computers. On the web inter face, when i click on windows updates it will only say loading and stay there untill it times out and auto logs me out. On my nexus 7 it says "could not get file content. Invalid response received from server." Checked the logs and all the computers do get the request for the updated. Every thing els seems to be working fine but this, and this is the only part of the app I need working. If this does work I want to buy for abo…
