I am looking to control a PC remotely, so I installed this one. I normally use Google desktop that works fine, but I want to more to a more robust solution. My first test to see if the FREE version works before I go in and pay. I have it all installed and I can connect to the PC remotely, but it is an image and I can't control anything. Is this the way this software is supposed to work? I want to control the desktop.

I am looking to use a probe to install the pulse way manager on a device. The device is found on the network by the probe, however the Remote Computer Administrator Credentials will not allow me to leave anything blank. The device i am looking to install the manager on does not have a password set for the administrator account. I can enter the account name, however it will not let me submit the deployment while the password field is empty. Is there something I should enter into the password field that will still work even though the target device does not have a password?

I've just deployed Pulseway on my office's workstations and configured the AV and patch management schedules, to run after the staff have left for the day. However we have a company policy, that came from the owner, that office computers need to be shutdown at the end of day, and stay shutdown till the start of the next day's shift. I know WoL could be used to turn the machines back on for the tasks to run, what I'm unsure of is how I can have the computers shutdown again when the tasks are completed. For the first time, we are trying to manage the Pulseway agent using policies rather than touching every agent manually. Where are current and accurate instructions for how to do this? We have an on-premise instance running v9.5.1. The tutorial video (under training center) feels like a nice marketing overview, but it reflects a previous version, so some details are inaccurate, and it is an overview. Hi, I am trying to install Pulseway on a Windows 2012 Server and I am getting the error above. There was a previous install which doesn't seem to have uninstalled properly. I'd appreciate some help on this... I have stopped all running Pulseway services - that I can identify but no luck. A second request: is there an uninstaller program available to completely remove a previous version of Pulseway?

Dear All, I would like to enquire about the proxy settings. In my company, we usually use a proxy server. This will actually require users to toggle between proxy and no proxy when they are using the network. Proxy = Company Network No-Proxy = Outdoors But it seems that Pulseway only support manual changing of proxy settings through Pulseway Manager. Is there anyway to automate this so that it will automatically change depending on Windows Proxy Settings? Thanks in advance

Someone in our org who is in a Help Desk position needs to get Pulseway Remote Control installed on their machine so they can connect to end user workstations for troubleshooting. Hi all, We have an on premise server and since the start of this we've had the probe which is sat at our head office scan the networks over site to site VPN's and it has picked up all the equipment however when we went to enroll devices on the remote subnets they all appear as offline even though we can ping them FROM the Pulseway on prem server itself ? We've now gone and installed a PC at one of the remote sites, applied it as a probe and done a scan and even with the probe being on the same network and subnet they STILL show as offline? I am trying to install the Pulseway agent on a laptop that previously had it installed. I am getting a pop-up saying "The older version of Pulseway cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group". I removed the agent 2 months ago using the CMD command and deleted the folder as shown on the site.

I tried to update my agent app, tried to uninstall and install again, it says my version is 9.6 on my server but my Windows client keeps saying "Manual update required". Isn't that the latest version?

Hi everyone, I have formatted and reinstalled windows on this computer and now am trying to install Pulseway on it again. During install it gives me this error: I have checked this file and it has all permissions and even added everyone with full control to it and still cannot write it? Any ideas? Did the setting for the web app timeout get moved?

Error states: You have a policy for this group that doesn't allow the system addon command to be executed. Where would I look to change this policy? I have looked under configuration - orginizations and found the correct group. Where am I to find the setting to change under the policies located here?

Wondering if there's a way I can pause patching without completely disabling patching. In light of the Crowdstrike issue that just happened, I'm curious if I can just pause patching in the patch management portion of Pulseway RMM. I don't want to take away the patch policy because it enables me to stop Windows updates from happening by themselves or allowing the end users to run them.

Hi All! Does anyone know what to do about the Google Update Services? We have added the policy profile "All Auto-Started Services Notifications" to our servers, which works just fine. The problem is, that Google renames their update service every time, they update Google, making it virtually imporssible not to disable notifications on my iPhone, as it keeps me up all night. I was hoping, that it was possible to use a wildcard character, ignoring the current build number in the Google update service. Something like Google* Regards, Morten

Every day we get the error message on our server: Pending reboot is required. I only have this problem on the server. The servers are up to date and I have already rebooted them several times. But the message comes back after a few seconds.

Recently migrated my Pro account to RMM. It didnt migrate any of the organizations, sites, groups.... That sucks. I'm getting lots of nuisance notifications now. The most common one is the "Windows Time service has stopped on the computer 'x' ". 1-5 notifications per day per PC. As far as I can tell time service is working on the PCs but must occasionally must fail. could be occasional issues with time.windows.com or during startup/shutdown? Not sure. its super annoying. cant figure out how to exclude the time service from monitoring. any help would be appreciated.

We are very happy with Pulseway, but have noticed an interaction we are trying to fix. We recently moved to AutoPilot/Intune for shipping out laptops and having them get automatically configured. We are pushing out the pulseway client and its working well. However, we want Pulseway to NOT manage windows updates, only 3rd party applications. Right now, both Intune and Pulseway are setup to manage windows updates, and the rules are not playing nicely together. Is there a way to tell the Patch management to ignore windows updates, and only care about 3rd party applications?

Hi, I'm looking how I can manage the notifications from within the PulseWay WebApp and specifically where I can manage the notifications definitions as found on the agents. I would like to reduce for example the notifications send in case of available update and only would like a notification in case of critical update as defined in the example hereunder. But I can't seem to find the same configuration parameters in the WebApp. I tried to configure it via the Patch Management policies but we still get notifications for important updates. Any help would be appreciated :)
