  4. After a fresh install on Windows 10, the Pulseway Agent installs, but does not allow me to sign in. When opening the application, I am greeted with this screen When I click on "Register System" I am greeted with this screen After entering my Username and checking the box "I do not have an instance name", I get this error message I have re-installed multiple times, tried to manually start the service in services.msc, which gives me this error I have also made sure my PC is up to date, currently running Windows 10 Home build 19045.2546. Any ideas why I might be seeing this error message/ why the Password field is greyed out? Thanks Jack
  5. Bring IT Documentation in your daily workflow through the IT Glue integration. Within the system details screen you can now access asset information, related documents, and related passwords for the matching IT Glue configuration.
  6. You can now discover computers from Active Directory through the Discovery & Deployment probes if they are a domain member. Additionally, you can now deploy the Pulseway Windows Agent through Group Policy Objects for all domain-joined computers or for just a selection of Organizational Units. This will automatically enrol newly added computers in Active Directory to Pulseway and place them in the correct Agent Group which in turn will apply the endpoint monitoring policies, optionally install an antivirus product, and start managing operating system and 3rd party patches too.

  9. We had a user who somehow got upgraded to Windows 11 over the weekend. She swears she didn't click on the update to 11 icon in the taskbar. In Pulseway, our patch policy she is assigned is set to install all updates including Optional. When I look on my Win10 laptop under Windows Updates > Optional, Win 11 is in the list. Does this mean users will get upgraded? If so, everyone needs to be aware. Pulseway, anything in the works to block this? I'm not afraid of 11, I just want to roll it out in a more managed way esp since we have to upgrade SSLVPN client after upgrade to 11.
  10. With the 8.8.9 Linux Agent, you can now install Pulseway on ARM64-based devices (Raspberry Pi 3 and 4).
  11. We've greatly reduced the amount of time required to start remote control sessions from the WebApp allowing you to get to the endpoints without delay.
  12. After receiving a verification on my phone I get this nasty gram. So far: .Net 4.0 install was blocked because a later version was already installed. So I don't think it is a .net version issue. Any help would be appreciated. --Tim I blocked out the server name to keep it annonymous I blocked out the server name to keep it anonymous. Also, please ignore the localhost:8443 page. It is irrelevant as far as I know.
  13. Hi all, I recently did a clean upgrade to Windows 10 on 2 WKSTs previously running Windows 7 with Pulseway installed. I am now at a loss as to how to re-add these units to my Pulseway instance. I see they are still showing up in the “Deployment Successful” tab under “Discovery & Deployment”. Is there a way to re-add these units without manually installing the Pulseway app on these WKSTs?
  14. I had installed Pulseway and then wanted to delete it but I was not able to find Pulseway in the control panel uninstall feature and so I tried manually uninstalling files but that also did not work. I tried running the .msi installer again but an error came up saying that Pulseway is already installed but it still was not showing up. Please help me with this.
  15. After playing around in my trial account for a bit, I have a few suggestions regarding policy configuration. Allow the creation of policies that inherit settings from other policies and track which settings were overridden. This would allow MSPs to create one or two "Global" policies (Servers/Workstations) as a base, and then create individual policies (for each client) that inherit settings from those global policies. Allow overrides to policy settings on specific systems, track which systems have policy overrides in place, and allow reverting the overrides to the policy defaults. Allow attaching scripts/tasks to policies to run during on-boarding (as in, when the Pulseway agent is initially installed). Instead of having separate Patch Management policies, group those settings with the System policies so they can be applied all at once. Alternatively, allow attaching Patch Management policies to System policies.
  16. Would love a way to silently install and run Dell command update utility to Dell endpoints to keep drivers up to date, as Dell are frequently rolling out driver updates. Has anyone been able to make this work for them? I've looked into it and found some sample scripts on reddit to try and edit and test. the problem I have is getting dell command update to install first, then getting the configuration file out to the required computers that need it, then running the update silently. If someone has managed to get this working, I would love to see how you did it, or kindly ask for some sample scripts to work with? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
  17. I am attempting to install pulseway on my raspberry pi 3b+, and have downloaded and installed the correct file from the pulseway website, and made sure that my openssl libraries are up to date and correctly setup. I followed through with the given installation instructions and repeatedly the pulseway service is unable to be started. When executing the command sudo systemctl start pulseway, the command works and presents no errors. Upon checking the app or the list of all services, however, pulseway is not shown as a service and there is no devices connected to the app. See the attached images for the output of sudo systemctl status pulseway
  18. after following this setup guild i am getting "-bash: /etc/init.d/pulseway: No such file or directory" looked inside that folder and did not see any pulseway scrips. is there another guild that i can follow that will be more helpful
  19. Hi there! I am looking for a way to install a custom MSI pakage that I built on my endpoints via a script. I have the MSI package on my website. I need the script to download the MSI from my website, then execute in silent mode. Thank you!!
  20. Hi, I installed Pulseway Agent on my RPI like they said on the Website. I went to the "config.xml" and entered my Username and Password. When I now go back to the Website it just showes "No systems monitored. Download and install the agent on the systems you want to monitor." I did everything like they said on the Website. I also googled and found out you have to install some SSL stuff, so I typed the command they said on the forum (sudo apt-get install ca-certificate) and the Console just says, that the Package "CA-Certificate" could not be found. What did I do wrong?
  21. It would be great (save me a lot of time) if, when downloading the custom Windows agent installer, there was an option to specify if the installer should create shortcuts or not. IOW, in addition to selecting the organization, site and agent group, there would also be an option (true/false) for "create program shortcuts" (or similar).
  22. Hi there, We are using both PSA and RMM from Pulseway. In the last few weeks we are experiencing some weird behavior between PSA and RMM. We don't use the and never set up the integration, but after we delete the settings both in PSA and RMM, it still comes back. It is irritating us enormously and the support isn't helpful after creating several tickets. I hope someone can help us with this issue. King regards, Tim Roewen
  23. When installing the pulseway agent on my Debian Version 9.4 X64 proxmox VE 5.2-1 server I get the following. I have restarted the server 3 times now after each install attempt - I can't figure out where the log is located. An error occurred while starting Pulseway service. Please see log for more details. 24. I have installed Pulseway on my unraid server and it has ben working great. I can monitor everything and shutdown/restart the machine. However, wake on lan is not working at all. I have enabled it in the BIOS and in the OS. I can wake the machine using my router, but not with the Pulseway app. In the config.xml file I have WoWAN set to true and the port to 9 (also tried 50000) and it still doesn't work. Is there something I am missing? P.S. I also have a Windows machine that has WOW working perfectly. Thank you for your help.
  25. Hey guys! I've been testing the Webroot trial recently and it has been working fine, but I found something where there is room for improvement.. The Webroot installation can be done through Pulseway already, and everything that's needed is basically the Key Code assigning the client to the corresponding Webroot dashboard. This method works fine, but my idea is to automate as many of these tasks as possible, hence Powershell come in to play. Webroot have published a document with other deployment methods, such as GPO or MSI, and I'm mostly interested in the latter. So I created a script for the installation task, which is working fine in itself. But I also found out that the client is shown as "Not installed" in Pulseway afterwards. I spoke with support representatives from Pulseway about this, and a workaround is to use the "Install"-button in Pulseway to create the connection. They told me that the software won't be reinstalled by doing this, but simply associate the agent with Pulseway.. It got me thinking.. There should be a way to trigger this "Install"-function elsewhere, and a smooth solution would be if it could be triggered from the same script as the installation. Maybe something is written in the registry (client side), that we could use? Does anyone else have a solution on how to perform such a task? Webroot deployment documentation (Command line options and other install methods) Here is the script that I've got so far, feel free to use it, if you find it useful! #Replace "KEYCODEHERE" at the arguments-variable with the Key Code shown in your own Webroot Dashboard. #Example: 'GUILIC=XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX CMDLINE=SME,quiet /qn /l*v install.log' $tempdir = get-item -Path "$Env:SystemDrive\Temp" -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue if ($tempdir -eq $null) { New-Item -ItemType "Directory" -Path "$Env:SystemDrive\Temp" Write-Host 'Creating Temp-Dir.' } $Downloadurl = 'http://anywhere.webrootcloudav.com/zerol/wsasme.msi' Write-Host 'Downloading executable to local storage.' $Executable = "$Env:SystemDrive\Temp\wsasme.msi" $Arguments = 'GUILIC=KEYCODEHERE CMDLINE=SME,quiet /qn /l*v install.log' $wc = New-Object System.Net.WebClient $wc.DownloadFile($Downloadurl, $Executable) Start-Process $Executable -ArgumentList $Arguments -Wait Write-Host 'Installing' Remove-Item -Path $Executable Write-Host 'Cleaning up locally stored data.'
