  1. We receive automated alerts as tickets but would also like to receive them in emails. What level of integration is supported and if it is, where can I find that option in the dashboard?
  2. Hi Pulseway, I would like the possibility to add monitoring for Public Ports. The Pulseway Agent could ask the Pulseway server to test for open ports at the Public IP. I would also like a boolean value, so we could decide if we want a notification, if the port is open or closed. --- Summed up, I would like to monitor if some critical ports are open from the public IP, like SSH, RDP, etc. and get notified if they are. Of course I could write a Plugin the is based on a webservice, but it would be more smooth, with a build in feature. --- Br, Matin.

    Exclude Disk

Is there a way to exclude a particular disk (e:\) from the storage notifications?
  4. Has the pulseway team considered a monitor for Qnap and other network storage devices?
  5. Is there any plan or discussion to allow MSP's the ability to white label the agent settings such as the name, desktop shortcuts, icon, installation path name, etc? We used to have this with a former RMM tool we used and it was helpful to maintain brand consistency with our clients. Thank you, and keep up the great work!
  6. We can already make snapshots.. but what if we get an alarm that one esx server is very busy.. then we need to vmotion right :-)
  7. I just thought I would throw this out there. If Pulseway could manage printers in a similar fashion as Uniprint or other cloud print platforms this would be the greatest thing ever. This would be a major revenue generator for us MSP's. I was also thinking of an addition for managing credentials and group policies. I was reviewing a product called Onelogin and the concept was interesting. Kind of like active directory for everything (mac, android etc.) which would allow us to manage large groups. In my opinion this would make Pulseway the onestop cloud solution. We could manage computers, control security and easily deploy printers anywhere anytime.
  8. Hi. When receiving the notification "The computer 'XXX' in group 'XXX' is shutting down" I am always wondering who is shutting down the server. Could it be possible to add information about which user initiated the shutdown? I know that Windows write it to the eventlog, so the information should be available. If it could possible to match the users with RDP connections, so we also can see what client the user was connected from, it would something near perfect. The computer 'XXX' in group 'XXX' is shutting down by user 'XXX' logged on interactively. The computer 'XXX' in group 'XXX' is shutting down by user 'XXX' logged on remotely from client 'XXX'.
  9. Pulseway WebApp in 6.x has implemented the centralized management of Group Policy via the Configuration section of Server Admin. This is a Great Start! Now it would be great if we could configure policy at the Site and Organization Level as well. With application rules similar to Active Directory where the Organization policy would be overwritten by the Site Policy which would be overwritten by the Group Policy. This would allow for easy policy changes across all systems at the Organization Level and more granular policy changes at Site and Group Level. Right Now I have 100 policies I have to manage and any change requires editing each policy because of the variances of our systems. In the attached example it would be nice to set policy at the WO (Organization Level) for Notifications (offline, CPU, RAM) which are generally always the same for us and then downstream in Site and Group level I can do more specific monitoring if needed.
  10. I am finding the interface to be aggravating. In some places when i click on a ticket I get a pop out window that holds my ticket and time entries. I love it working this way. But then I go to the timesheets look at the list of the tickets there and click one and it opens in a new or the current tab. I dislike tickets opening in the current or new tab, but even more... I dislike the inconsistency where in one place it opens differently than another. Let's get the interface to be consistent. AND while your at it, maybe the new/same tab vs new window can be a configurable choice so that users won't complain that their favorite way of tickets opening isn't stuck doing the opposite of the way they like it.
  11. One thing that I would really like to see is the ability to bulk edit Hardware Assets, it might be okay to edit a couple dozen manually but when you have hundreds, or thousands of them sat in your system, I doubt very much that anyone will have the patience to edit each of them individually. Cheers, Martin
  12. Sometimes i am creating a ticket after i have already started work on the problem. Not ideal I know, but it happens. It happens enough that i would really like to be able to put in the time i started working on the problem and then hit the now choice and then hit a "Add time" or start tracking time button that continues to update the "now" or "end" field. that way i dont have to remember to hit that now button when i am done and hit the save button.
  13. It would be nice if we also can monitor/manage the smart devices like Android and IOS.
  14. Hey guys, I am aware that I can add an invoice-wide discount, but we really need a way to invoice line items. The only work around is to generate multiple invoices when you don't want the discount to apply to entire invoice. I want customer's to see the actual normal price, I don't just want to edit the extended price. Also, I like the new billing automation feature. But we also need to a way to add a (hopefully future line item) discount to the billing automation. We generally offer a discount on recurring flat fee services for the first 6 or 12 months of the term, and I need a way to put this in so that I don't have to manually change everything on each invoice after it is generated and/or exported to QB like I do now. Manual invoicing is such a time waster. As always, Thanks so much!!
  15. Hi All, New to the software and love its ease of use. I am looking for an update from the roadmap on when the custom reporting may be available? Things like asset reporting on all PCs with x of software (Eg. office 2010) or License numbers of x software.Have a microsoft audit for example and need to gather all the FPP license numbers! All the information you appear to have already from the summary and detail asset reports its just the selection of those items into one report. or if any one knows a script that performs that task?
  16. Hey Guys, Not sure if this is going to be in the next update already however, it'd be great if we could create Categories under tasks just like under scripts to help organize them better. Cheers, Quenten
  17. Hey Guys, It would be great if we had some integration with https://chocolatey.org for windows package management, its basically like apt-get or yum for windows which seems a lot better IMHO then ninite type solutions. Having its own tab under group policy for example to install selected apps across multiple machines and keep them updated within patch windows for example. This would be a huge benefit for Pulseway if done well. https://chocolatey.org/about https://chocolatey.org/pricing at only $3/year per machine its pretty competitive pricing. Cheers, Quenten
  18. Hi, I have have some requests from management and staff using the dashboard at our company. Please could some of these be addressed or looked at? We would like to apply/replace the pulseway logo with our company logo, but we have no need for enterprise at this time (this may change in the future). Being able to drag an image to the dashboard installation folder as a simple start would be good, or "select an image" option in the settings - As a bonus, changing the colours of background and text would be fantastic. Custom sizing of text within the dashboard would help, as playing around with dpi within windows causes things to go onto two pages. (Changing clock size would be bonus cookies) Order by severity, I think I may have requested this before,(not yet addressed) this makes total sense to be able to order the list by what severity EG: critical first. Split groups on to separate pages, this is a nicety if you have multiple machines on multiple sites, this would allow better use of screen space especially on 65"+ TV's The coloured icons could use a flashing feature to catch your eye, EG: a critical alert would make it flash red and blue/black, this is instead of a steady amber or red. Had to edit this one in: Pulseway Manager needs to give us an option to mark an offline server as critical, a simply notification will not email our zendesk for example. Last but not least: can we get a changelog pop up when updates arrive, think this would be beneficial to show customers that there is continued development in progress. - I am aware that you run a blog for this kind of thing. Many Thanks, Kind Regards, TIM STARK
  19. I've mentioned this to the sales team before, not sure if its on your list or not. One of the reasons I like PSA so much is because of its good UX. Its a good looking console. It appears that a lot of time has gone into the visual design. However, in most free form text boxes the default font is the horrible Times New Roman, a serif font when the rest of the system uses non-serif fonts. Even in text boxes that you can change the font, the default is still Times New Roman and its a pain to constantly highlight the text and change it. Also, there are numerous text boxes where you cannot set the font. Times New Roman is the font that appears in the time log and note entries at the bottom of the main ticket page too. I know it may seem like a small issue, but it really affects the professional appearance of the system.
  20. Can you guys please expand the space allowed in Email template subject lines? We are frequently limited in what fields we can put in the subject due to limited space.
  21. I had a big issue today where replies from clients were not adding the reply as a note, but instead creating a new ticket altogether. In the end, there were 2 causes. 1) In the default PSA email templates, the Ticket number was set as #Ticket No#. This looks really weird in my opinion, when referring to a ticket number its generally "Ticket Number" or "#Ticket Number". I had removed the trailing # on most of the templates. I searched the knowledge base and forums and there was no mention, so it was only through trial and error that I realized that you HAVE to have both # at front and end of ticket number for replies to work. 2) In some templates, I removed the Ticket number all together as it really had no purpose. I would much rather use a Subject line like: "A note has been added to your ticket regarding [%Ticket Title%]" Again, through trial and error I realized for replies to work the ticket number (formatted per 1 above) must be included in the subject. There was another forum post from someone having issues with replies on CC's. In that thread they thought the same thing I did, that adding the Reply Separator field in the message body had all the needed coding to enable replies to the ticket. I am posting this for anyone else who may be searching for this and to also request that header info be embedded in the Reply Separator field so that it is all that is needed to enable replies as notes back to the originating ticket. Also, some documentation on this feature and associated troubleshooting may be a good knowledge base article to post.
  22. I use PSA for billing but do NOT use the PSA generated invoices since they don't look great and have no customization. Once the invoice syncs to Quickbooks via QBsync, I send the client the invoice from QB using a custom invoice template. This works great except some clients use the Client Portal to view status of invoices and payments. I want their invoices to post to the client portal, but they won't until you click the "Send to Client" button. There needs to be a way to post the invoice to the Clients' Portal without sending the email. A button on the invoice would suffice. Right now I get around this by creating a dummy contact with fake email address and marking it as invoice email address. Please consider adding this guys!
  23. Would really like to use PSA, but it is just not intuitive... Especially for end users. I tried it on 10 of my users... none of them liked the interface. The resorted back to just emailing me. There should be a simple REPLY button for quick reply to tickets. The less steps for the end user, the better. I have to teach each user to send tickets... thats not good. We are using Freshdesk now because the client likes the ease of use. If the PSA followed some of freshdesk design ques, we would return. It also would be nice to have ticket notifications pushed to our mobile devices (possibly through the pulseway app) with the ability to respond on the fly. Love the work that has been put in so far.... Thanks!
  24. Is there a way to password protect the uninstallation of the agent? If not, I believe that would be very useful and should be considered as a feature request.
  25. It would be beneficial to add either the percentage of uptime or downtime to the Executive Report.
