Notifications

Email notifications are disabled by default in Pulseway. To enable them start Pulseway app on your computer and click the "Change Account Details" button on the Account tab. You will then be able to enable email notifications in the Account Details dialog.

Hello, all other notifications are working so far and it's great. But 'resume from suspended state' notification is never sent neither to website nor mobile device. Do you have any solution for me? If you need more information please tell me I will provide it! Thank you very much for your help.

I noticed that rebooting a client (whether via Pulseway or locally) always triggers the "Antivirus real-time protection is disabled" notification. My guess is that Kaspersky needs a while to startup, long enough to trigger "AV disabled" condition. Systems: Win 10 Pro, AV: Pulseway Kasperksy Is there a way to avoid these false alarms? Thanks! Is there any better documentation on the Email Templates? I see this post https://www.pulseway.com/blog/customize-email-notifications-on-pulseway-enterprise but the only thing it can pull from Pulseway is $TAG_BODY$ and everythng else seems to be hard coded. Can I include other data from Pulseway in the emails (CPU Load, Free Space, IP address, ETC)? How do others use the template?

Is there a way to get notified if a chassis intrusion is detected. And furthermore, will it also be able to pick that up if the computer is opened while still running?

I have an Application which uses an Error Log, i would like to search the error log for 1 specific error and get a notification for it. How do i implement that?

Hi, We are monitoring around 15 servers using pulseway. But I want to configure different email ids for sending the notifications.( not the main emailid which is registered with pulseway). 10 servers notifications to 1 email id & remaining 5 servers to a different emailid.Is it possible to configure in this way ? I have this feature set to trigger a notification upon > 90% CPU load for 2 minutes... however, the list of running processes that are returned with this notification are always very low CPU usage (< 5%). This suggests that either the Pulseway agent is not monitoring ALL running processes or it is not measuring CPU load correctly...?

We are trialling on premise enterprise version. Is there any way we can have a custom email/push notification template at each site that includes the GROUP or Server name so we can feed it into our service desk and assign it to the correct technician?

Hello! I am using Office 365 as my email solution and I am not able to receive your email notifications since yesterday (23.09.2012). Your emails were marked as SPAM and since today all email notifications are lost. It is even not possible to receive your validation email. Is this an isolated problem of mine or does anyone else see this? MJR

Hi, just wondered if there was a way to specify any rules when sending emails, i.e. when a certain event happens send an email but not for other events? Also i noticed that for things like servers offline, the email notification keeps being sent over and over whilst the status isn't changed, is there a way of only sending one email untill the status changes again?

Hi, We have just installed the software and have been looking at the Event Log Notification feature. We want to be able to send a notification if a backup routine is successful. Looking through the event log i can filter by the Event Source, but there are around 10-15 events fired per backup routine with the same Keyword & Event ID. The unique identifying log is by a value within EventData, as we only want to be notified if the backup fails. Is there anyway of adding to the filter to look at the contents of EventData. Hello Folks, We are using Pulseway, Today we received a Notification, Todan non activity and Pulse way send us notification so I want to check its actual reason, Can you help us?

We have 55 machines that are being monitored by pulseway for various things. Of the 55 I am only responsible for about 36 of them. In my system tray it only shows the 36 I'm managing, however I still get notifications for the other servers and another member of our team that is managing the other half still gets notifications when my machines go down. Been searching everywhere trying to figure out how the email notification feature works in PC monitor but I'm getting nothing. There are alot of info on how to set it up but no info how the actual email engine works? The reason I ask is because we've recently migrated our email server. I originally thought that PC monitor emails the mail server based on the MX record it gets when it polls the domain name of the email address that we specify (e.g. notification@domain.com) from the DNS server so we've update or internal MX record to point to the new exchange server and configured it as a whitelist on our receive connector but we are still not getting any email alerts. How is Ping Notifications work ? If I use default setting ( >300ms for 1 minute ), PC Monitor will ping How many times in 1 minute ? thanks

We recently started using notifications for the (+-50) systems we monitor. I was wondering how long the history will be kept for. We have a more atypical setup as the systems aren't servers but video editing workstations which come online/offline quite often, so the amount of notifications will grow quite rapidly. Hello, At the moment I am working on setting up Pulseway for a lot of networks. I want to use SNMP to get a lot of data from the different devices in the network. Since we use a lot of the same devices I am already working on default files that I can use to configure the SNMP agents for NAS's, routers and other commonly used hardware. (Files that I only need to import and tweak to get the right values.) This is working properly. Here is the problem though: after importing the SNMP agents, I still need to configure all the notifications manually, and that takes even more time then setting up the SNMP agent in the first place.
