Posted October 31, 20168 yr Is there a way to monitor a service and started automaticly if the status is stopped. is this possible natively or does it require some kind of manual schedulet task to make this work? if it requires a schedulet task then this could be seen as feature request to create a automated service restart rule into the rules.
November 4, 20168 yr Administrators Hi Arva, This can be done with the Pulseway rules but at this moment it requires creating a scheduled task for each service you want to restart automatically. The scheduled task will only start when the service stops. We add support for starting windows services from the Rules feature in the future. -Paul
October 15, 20177 yr Hi Paul, I just wanted to add a +1 on creating this ability in the future. Service monitoring and restarting is a very basic thing that we need to setup for nearly all of our clients, and with most other RMM tools this is very easy to do. Pulseway can do it, as you've said, but it is far from quick and easy.
October 18, 20177 yr +1 AÂ way to automatically monitor all services set to automatic; with the possibility of blacklisting those uncommon exceptions that are set to automatic but don't necessarily run at all times.
December 5, 20177 yr Administrators You can right click on the list of monitored services and click on the "Select automatically started services". -Paul
