Tyson got a reaction from Perks in Symantec Endpoint Integration
Just an FYI - their API docs are linked below. They just did a major overhaul or the web interface and agent.

Is there any update to this request? the first quarter is almost over.

Requesting a Two-Way sync between Autotask's PSA and Pulseway. (And possible more ticketing / PSA systems). I would like to see when a ticket gets resolved that the Pulseway resolves / deletes the notification.
I tried to get something going with the API, only the Ticket ID is not being sent over to Autotask. This could be a quick workaround.

P.S. Why is under every ticket the text: "Sent from Pulseway (www.pulseway.com)." being added? I already paid for the product .

    Hi,

This is a popular request and we did consider it however we don't really like the idea to just delete the notification if the condition no longer applies. You will still want to know that there was a problem, don't you?

We're considering on adding the ability to see a notification history (when was the notification marked as read and (if applicable) when the notification condition no longer applied).

Thanks. This is a great idea, we'll consider it for a future release. It's annoying that you have to create tags, a scope and a task only when you need something real quick. We'll see how we can improve this.

Would be great to have an option when you select multiple systems, to run a script.
Now that's only possible with a Task...
But if you just want to run a script on let's say 10 Systems and not 100 in a Group for example. This would be much faster.
Also you don't need to create a Task for it, so everything stay's cleaner in that way.

    Hi All,
Thank you for your suggestion. We already have the functionality (Notification based actions) as the confirmed feature, therefore it will be implemented into the future.

@Chris Are you saying that "Notification based actions" are already implemented or are planned for a future release? Any updates on that feature being implemented and when approximately?

    Hey guys!

I think Pulseway would be even better if the alerts would clear themselves when resolved.. For example, a server with available windows updates will reboot during our custom maintenance window but the alert will stay until I manually clear it in either the webGUI or the Dashboard app. Those kind of alerts along with cpu spikes, short memory outtage etc are more like "white noise" in the monitoring for me and I'd like to focus on alerts where a proper action is needed in order to resolve.

To build further on this idea an even better improvement would be to tie alerts to scripts, so if Alert X is triggered, script Y will run and Alert X will be cleared.
Let me know what you think! // Martin

    Hi Martin,
This is still on our backlog for the SQL server module. As soon as we touch that module we'll be adding this notification too .

It would be nice with a build in option to trigger notifications based on the date since last backup of any databse.
We are currently using this custom SQL Query i 'msdb':
SELECT STUFF((SELECT N', ' + name FROM (SELECT TOP (100) PERCENT db.name FROM (SELECT name FROM master.sys.databases WHERE (state = 0) AND (NOT (name IN ('tempdb')))) AS db LEFT OUTER JOIN (SELECT database_name AS name, backup_finish_date AS timestamp FROM dbo.backupset UNION SELECT name, create_date FROM master.sys.databases) AS b ON b.name = db.name GROUP BY db.name HAVING (NOT (1 * ISNULL(STR(ABS(DATEDIFF(hh, GETDATE(), MAX(b.timestamp)))), - 1) BETWEEN 0 AND 48)) ORDER BY db.name) AS [n1] FOR XML PATH(''),TYPE).value('text()[1]','nvarchar(max)'),1,2,N'') AS [Missing] // Martin.

    Hi Martin,
Thanks. I've pushed this into our todo list. It will be picked by the development team and we'll notify you when this is implemented.

We'd love to have a folder monitoring feature in Pulseway. I've added a todo for it, this could be used to detect cryptolocker, see if backups aren't rotated and much more.

It would be nice if Pulseway can monitor SNMP agents without setting up all OID's
So that if you discover a device like a Synology NAS or HP ILO or Whatever it automatically starts pulling data form it.
Like Observium does. So you can also get graphs / system info form it etc.
    This would be awesome!
