Gary Haberl got a reaction from Jamie Taylor in Can we link our 3CX phones into the PSA for calls and logsInstead of working on the API for this, I just installed the 3CX browser extension "3CX Click2Call". Not perfect, but it dials my phone from the PSA links. Just watch out what the extension thinks are phone numbers.

Has anyone integrated a 3CX system with their PSA? Do you want to share your 3CX CRM Template?

Gary Haberl got a reaction from Shane Pemkowski in Pulseway Ad-Hoc ReportsHi CHris,
Thank you for the help with this. To help others out, I am posting what I actually used. I was trying to print filter choices on a report, so I used the following.
=Concatenate(FilterValue(1,1)," - ",FilterValue(1,2))

Gary Haberl got a reaction from Jamie Taylor in See existing client tickets when opening a new ticket.Thank you Jamie,
I did add my 2 suggestions to that site, and now I can not find them. Is there a process I need to go through to be authorized to post to this site, or is there a way to search for my requests. I did use the search and cant find them.

Gary Haberl got a reaction from Jamie Taylor in See existing client tickets when opening a new ticket. We would like to see the last few tickets for a client when entering a new ticket.
When a client calls, we ask if they have a ticket, we start a new ticket and help the client. We find that we end up with multiple duplicate tickets for the same issue. (ie. Client sends in a ticket via email, then calls the service desk as they are in a rush.)
In other ticket systems we have used, when entering a ticket, we get a popup showing the last X (normally 5) tickets for that company and user.
Ie. We enter the company name, the popup (side bar) shows the last 5 tickets for this company.
Ie. Then when we choose the user we are working with, the popup (side bar) filters the company showing only the tickets for this specific user.

Gary Haberl got a reaction from Jamie Taylor in Search service ticket via time entries.Need to search ticket to find work done that is posted in tech notes.
We are having issues finding work performed for clients in the PSA search. The issue is that the ticket “Title” and “Details” do not always include the data you are searching for. (ie. When working with a supplier, we get info from them (ticket numbers or data) that we put in a ticket and can not search for.)
It would be nice to also search the “Time Logs” – Notes and Internal Notes fields for key words to find data. -
Hi @Sean,
Thank you for your suggestion. At the time when this integration was created we did not had the option to create the Organization structure into the Pulseway RMM, therefore it was not implemented. The current version in which this functionality was added was released just a few month ago. We are planning to update this integration into the future release.

Gary Haberl got a reaction from Martin Stevnhoved in Multi Factor AuthenticationWould you consider Microsoft Azure MFA? Some of us use O365 accounts with MFA already for email and other.
-
Gary Haberl reacted to Chris in Associated AccountsHi @rit-chris ,
This option will no longer be required once we will release the Pulseway version 6. Currently we are about 1-2 weeks away from the release (if everything will go smoothly).

Gary Haberl reacted to Chris in Network Diagram, Topology & Mapping FeatureHi All,
This sounds like a nice idea. We will consider the possibility to introduce this option into the future release.
-
Gary Haberl reacted to ArrowNM in Network Diagram, Topology & Mapping FeatureAnother great feature to have would be the possibility to view a Network Topology Map.
This would be a great addition to Pulseway. It can be located in a tab under the client's group and part the reporting features. Something similar to vCenter Server Map.

Gary Haberl reacted to Chris in Ad-hoc reports on PulsewayHi All,
Thank you for your suggestion. This is actually on our to-do list, therefore this option will be available into the future release.

Gary Haberl reacted to EndzoneHero in RMM assets not appearing in PSAThanks Chris - any idea when the integration will be updated?
While you update the integration don't forget to bring across all the other fields that are in the PSA and RMM, but which are currently not populated by the RMM into the PSA!
IMHO both issues are currently massive liabilities for the PSA :-(

Gary Haberl reacted to EndzoneHero in Why is asset info and other information not available when the asset is offline?I know that information is available from the reports - but have you seen how cumbersome it is to run a report and see the results?
1. Click Reporting
2. Click Templates
3. Click Asset overview
4. Mouseover the report you want and find the Run button to click
5. Confirm Yes in the dialogue box that says 'are you sure you want to run the report?'
6. Click OK in the 'It's done' dialogue box
7. Click the eye icon on that report
8. Click the eye on the report instance that has been created
9. Click the view tab
10. search for your asset name in the report
And all that to see data an engineer just wants to be able to see when they are navigating Groups/Systems wanting to see what brand the machine they are looking for is or how much RAM it has?
A task they might do 10 times a day, or double/triple that?
It's not pulled live, it is available from reports, just not the normal Groups/Systems way of browsing machines
100% agree Andrew T
Not only should this information be available when the machines are offline, we should also be able to build a view in the RMM like we can the PSA - so that we can see and make our own view of the assets with columns for RAM, brand, user etc
At the moment if I am in the RMM looking for the machine that John Doe uses, or all those with less than 8GB RAM, there appears no way to do it without the 10 step process to run a report as described above.
If I'm wrong please please let me know!
Cheers

Gary Haberl reacted to Chris in PSA text box fontsHi Matt,
Thank you for reporting this, we will review and fix this issue into the future release.

Chris/Paul/Cliff,
Thanks for all the work you guys are doing to make PSA usable in a production environment. I love the latest improvements.
I have a priority request regarding Client Portal authentication. I see that AuthAnvil is supported. Can you guys please look at adding 365 Azure AD integration as well? There is no way my client end-users are going to remember a separate password for their PSA login to open and view tickets. We really want to push them to it, but its not going be useful. I image that Azure AD would be the most common platform for most companies.
In the meantime, can we have a way to manually set a secure password for each user for Client Portal? A work around would be to set a secure password for each user and then distribute it to the users.
Without one of these options, we just don't see the Client Portal for end users accessible.

Gary Haberl reacted to Chris in Better deployment methodsHi Pete,
Thank you for contacting us. This already is on our to-do list. We are planning to embed this functionality into the Pulseway WebApp (the way to create the executable with all required settings).

Gary Haberl reacted to Chris in Huge Ticket Titles from RMM EventsHi All,
Thank you for your suggestion. I have added this to the list of the suggested enhancements.
-
Gary Haberl got a reaction from MaxITGarrett in Huge Ticket Titles from RMM EventsI couldn't agree more Max.
It feels like the RMM is putting all the info for a ticket in the title and description of the ticket. The title of the ticket needs to be short. Our Techs have complained about this many times, and again in our meeting today.

Gary Haberl reacted to karbonphyber in Hardware Assets managementHi all
Looking to have some guidance on the usage of Hardware Assets in PSA Pulseway.
1) Do you guys add in every single asset or just the assets tracked by the finance dept? Every single asset includes kensington locks, keyboards, power cables...
1A) Should it be Single Asset? Would you duplicate the record for each asset? e.g. If i had 5 x kensington locks. What do i do there (best practice) ?
2) How do we check-out assets to the corresponding Contact? Assuming we want to assign a particular lock to a particular contact/person?
Thanks all.

Thank you.

Gary Haberl got a reaction from Paul in 4.0.11, Thank youThank you, thank you;
Nice to see 4.0.11.1 now. There were a few fixes we were waiting for that the release notes say are fixed. Good work.
Also, I noticed the new feature in Workflows. Fantastic that we can now change tickets with tokens in emails. We used this feature all the time in another ticket system we had.
Thank you again,
