Greetings, This question may be more appropriate in another place but I am sure someone here can answer my question. In additon to using this wonderful software to monitor my home computers I occasionally use it to stop a program from running by killing the process. I would love the ability to start a program remotely as well. I have messed with the Terminal command prompt option today and have sucessfully started the program I wanted remotely however it ran as "System" instead of "MyUserName" so it didn't really accomplish what I wanted. I have tried every combination of runas: type prompt I could locate via google with no luck. Can anyone tell me how to structur…

I have 3 computers listed on my account; but get the message 'your account is over quota'.  If I delete the message; it comes back shortly.  One of the three computers didn't seem to be reporting properly (it shows down); but the computer is in fact up and the PC Monitor service is running.  I revalidated my account successfully on the computer as well as on my iPad2 (ios5) and my iPhone4s (ios5).  I finally uninstalled and reinstalled the client on that computer; but still there is no change.  I continue to have and see 3 computers on my account; but one doesn't report right and I continue to get the over-quota message.

Hi All New here, just discovered PC Monitor after years of messing around using several different monitoring solutions to look after 25-30 servers. So far I'm dead impressed with this software and it's associated applications I have a couple of questions 1. When using the desktop monitor application the only way I can get the servers to return to green after a notification is to delete the notification, does the software store a history or log of all the error messages on a particular server, or can I get the server to return to green as soon as the message is read without deleting, this also applies in the Android app. 2. Perhaps I am just missing it, but how would I go about changing my accoutn password, contact email, and other profile info. When I go to http://pulseway.com/ and then log into 'My Computers' I can click on 'Manage Account' but I cannot find a way to change any of my information. Any help with account issues would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I have two PCs in the house, both running Windows 7 Pro x64 and both with static IP addresses on the same network. One sends a push notification every time when it wakes up from a suspended state. The other never does but consistantly sends me notifications on everything else. I've noticed that the PC in question takes a second or two before I can access the internet after waking up. I feel this is the issue but can't figure out what setting on there might be out of wack to cause this. I had WOL working prior to installing PC Monitor and I'm thinking I must have monkeyed with one of the settings at that point. Any thoughts on what might be going on here? Thanks

Planning on playing with this more on my personal laptop, but everytime I run the iPhone Apps, it sends me a notification that the server modules evaluation has ended via email and also a notice on the app itself. This happens everytime I open the app or some other notice comes in. If I disabled all the server modules, how come I still get these notices? *Tried to search on this topic, with no luck*

Hi Guys, I have been looking at the web app to monitor a few things on our servers and I noticed I could look at the bandwidth, but I have no idea what the graph is saying. I guess one colour is sent and the other colour is received? could someone help shed some light on this please? cheers

Hi Marius I run a small Managed Service Provider business and have been running your product for nearly twelve months now on some of my small business server clients server machines. I do use another vendors software as well but I have found Mobile PC Monitor to be extremely effective. Consequently I have enabled it on a few of my client’s workstations as well. I would like to pursue this further but can see a couple of issues which I could use some guidance on: 1 – I don’t see the need to install an Enterprise Server at each client location as most of my clients are single server sites and this is a large expense. Has you system just had a small outage ? Servers from on location showed as offline - but they weren't Initially servers from elsewhere showed fine still (for about 20 minutes) so I assume it was a problem at the one location- then it went offline as well and then they all came back ? If it was an issue at your end - is there anywhere I can look for a health report of your service (or ideally push another notification down) If of course the issue wasn't at your end I apologise - but welcome any suggestions as to how 2 related sites could show false results ? I understand from elsewhere in forum that you limit a notification to not repeating for the same event until the first one is read and cleared Is there any way to control this at all ? I'm looking at setting up a filtered event notification to see if nightly backups have completed OK / not (i.e. I want a success notification as well as just a failure notification) I can see that not being swamped by events is a good idea - but as I understand it that means if I haven't cleared last nights successful backup event I won't get tonights. Ideally I'd like to be able to set the interval (e.g. don't send the same event within an hour or 12 hours if not cleared etc)…

Hi, I did a search and this topic has not been asked before. Anyway, what is the difference between shutdown and power off options on PC Monitor? Aren't they the same? I always use the Shutdown option. I haven' t tried the Power off option. If I choose the Power off option, will I still be able to turn on the computer remotely. I know I can with the Shutdown option but how about the Power off option. Regards, Elos

On some systems I am unable to see any databases using the SQL Server module and the iOS app. I have several virtual database servers running different versions of MS SQL Server. On most I can see the list of databases. I have one installation of SQL Server 2008 that I am not able to see any databases from the iOS app. I can see agent jobs, server info and the like, it just reports none found. Does PC monitor create a log anywhere? Specifically something a plugin could write to for debuggin? Or would I have to write my own log? Else is there some other way of debugging a plugin so i can step through my code?

I've been looking all over for this answer but nothing yet... how can I speed up the refresh rate of the data i am monitoring on my iphone??

I have installed PC monitor on two linux machines (Ubuntu 11.04) and the program appears to be using a huge amount of memory, between 200MB and 400MB as measured with top, htop and ps. Is this normal? Can it be configured to use less memory? Niall

So, Wake on Lan seems to work as my machine wakes up (being sent from iPhone, outside of network). However, I still get a "failure" notice and then my machine wakes up. Is this a bug, or something else I may have configured wrong. I did change the port from the default "9" to something else in your system settings. Is it possibly also trying to ping old port settings? Just want to make sure my installation is secure. Thanks.
