Hi, is there any way of monitoring hardware nodes? We recently had one of our PSU fail in our dell poweredge r510, I only noticed it as I was in the serve room. cheers

I have a batch script I run from the command line on my machine that does some dsquery & dsmod statements. When logged in as myself, it runs fine. When executed remotely from Terminal, it says the account does not have permission to execute. I know it's possible to do this because my install on my previous machine did it without hesitation. What user account does the software use to execute Terminal commands? Or how can I force the app to use my account?

Hello, Let's assume I have configured all the necessary settings that I need using PC Monitor Manager. Does the API allows me to add custom logic such as "If PC X is down, perform my own custom logic"?

Hi, I did a search and this topic has not been asked before. Anyway, what is the difference between shutdown and power off options on PC Monitor? Aren't they the same? I always use the Shutdown option. I haven' t tried the Power off option. If I choose the Power off option, will I still be able to turn on the computer remotely. I know I can with the Shutdown option but how about the Power off option. Regards, Elos

I have installed PC monitor on two linux machines (Ubuntu 11.04) and the program appears to be using a huge amount of memory, between 200MB and 400MB as measured with top, htop and ps. Is this normal? Can it be configured to use less memory? Niall

Does PC monitor create a log anywhere? Specifically something a plugin could write to for debuggin? Or would I have to write my own log? Else is there some other way of debugging a plugin so i can step through my code?

Hi Marius I run a small Managed Service Provider business and have been running your product for nearly twelve months now on some of my small business server clients server machines. I do use another vendors software as well but I have found Mobile PC Monitor to be extremely effective. Consequently I have enabled it on a few of my client’s workstations as well. I would like to pursue this further but can see a couple of issues which I could use some guidance on: 1 – I don’t see the need to install an Enterprise Server at each client location as most of my clients are single server sites and this is a large expense. Perhaps I am just missing it, but how would I go about changing my accoutn password, contact email, and other profile info. When I go to http://pulseway.com/ and then log into 'My Computers' I can click on 'Manage Account' but I cannot find a way to change any of my information. Any help with account issues would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I'm a user of PC Monitor and I had two accounts that were able to login the software. But I didn't used the software for a while. Today I tried to setup my new computer and it said Invaild user name and/or email address. The two username combinations are easy113/easy113@gmail.com and easy1013/easy113@me.com . Hey and well ive read about quite alot and I am still clueless on how to set all this up The plan was to monitor my debian server from my main pc and in time my phone (but main pc to start) How do I even start all this? Ive installed it on my server (I think) But now. I can find no readme's or tuts anywhere. is there a read me for a noob like meanywhere to understand this abit better? Cheers Mike

Is there a way to view networked drives (yes they are mapped for me in Win7) in the PC Monitor File Browser Utility? Local drives come up great - just not the networked ones.

Hello In PC Monitor Manager, under; Notifications -> Event Log -> Add Is there a way to add an Event Log filter to fire all (*) Event IDs. For example, I am trying to set a filter to fire an alert on ALL DFS Replication Errors and Warnings generated. However the UI requests I enter a keyword, Event ID or Source filter. Can I add a wildcard to Event IDs, i.e. * OR Enter a generic list of event ID ranges, i.e. 0001-9999 or similar? Any assistance would be much appreciated! Kind Regards

I recently took one monitored machine down and although I still only see 6 in the Dashboard (what I am licensed for) I keep getting emails about having 7 and over my license. But where/how do I see all the ones registered so I can remove any no longer in use?

The PC Monitor app will not show any hardware devices on the Hardware Monitor tab. This is an older server so I figured it would return status...it shows nothing. Does anyone have a fix or workaround? Joe
