When the Agent launches, it generates an "Computer is up and running" notification. It would be more accurate if it was accompanied by a notification that said, "PC Monitor agent has started". The "up and running" notification by itself is a little misleading. Maybe only a PCM newbie like me would make this mistake, but I found "up and running" notifications this morning. I went in to the Event logs to try to figure out why the computers had restarted, and why there wasn't a "shutting down" notification. What I found was that the agent had auto-updated; the computers were up the whole time. Here are the notifications I'd like to have seen this morning: PC Mon…

The Windows "Action Center" posts a message if antivirus is not running, or is out of date.  Assuming you have a way to grab this info, a Notification from PCM would be welcome.

First of all : great product ! It still needs some tweaking to become mature , But looking at the changes in the last months and the planned new features i'm really hoping to get rid off Kaseya very soon and replace it with PC Monitor . I've got a feature request : in our company It is common that external software consultants get access to servers for software updates of there products or changes in there software configuration. We do give these external consultants a separate admin account to logon. same case with junior system admins , they get a separate account. When things go wrong on a server often the sofware guys and the network admin guys point a…

...but not enough. I'd like to configure PCM to attempt a TCP or UDP connection to specific port(s) on remote computer(s) to verify that they're listening. For example, verify that TCP 3389 is listening on a Remote Desktop Session Host, or UDP 53 on a DNS server. You don't have to have much running for a PING test to pass, so it's a pretty minimal test. But in addition, Ping is often exempted from IPSec. So by checking for other protocols that aren't exempted from IPSec, you can also get an idea if IPSec is your connectivity problem.

Fantastic software! I've been wanting this exact type of product for years now! I've got a couple of requests... Exchange DAG/database Monitoring: Viewing the status of databases and copies (healthy, mounted, suspended, ect) and being able to mount or activate them. This can all be done via PowerShell which I see is on your roadmap. Sort Processes by users (beneficial on Terminal Servers) or in the users logged on section, show processes by that users selected and have the option to kill. Once again great product! Planning on migrating many of my clients over to it! Roadmap looks impressive!

Currently, when I view an Event, then close it to return to the Events list, the list returns to the latest Event. This means that when I've scrolled down through (say) 20 "pages" of Events to get to the Event I want to view, I then have to scroll down those same 20 pages to get back to the next Event. This makes the Event log feature nearly useless unless it's a very recent Event. When I close an Event, please return me to the same page from which I opened it.

I would like to see all of the phone apps be able to proactively monitor certain web sites etc to make sure they are up. We had a situation last night where our firewall went down and the PC Monitor software on my phone never went nuts. No noise or anything. So I did not know for 3 hours that everything on my side was inaccessible. Maybe there is something in the software that I have configured incorrectly, but I need to get this figured out ASAP. Thank you!

Windows 6.x has a very powerful feature that allows specific Events to fire Scheduled Tasks.  However, one can't use it with PC Monitor Application Events because all PCM Events (or all that I know of) have an Event ID of 0. Please give every built-in Notification a different Event ID, and display the Event IDs in the GUI.  For custom Notifications, make them user-assigned, starting at, say 1000. This could DOUBLE the usefulness of PC Monitor...not only would we know about problems as they occur, but PCM could fix (or work around) them. For example: I have set PC Monitor to watch CPU usage of a specific Service.  If that service exceeds 10% CPU for 3 minutes, it …

Special greetings. Have you considered, and is it possible for the PC Monitor App (ie. iPhone) to issue a WoL, or Shutdown command on a user determined and managed schedule? In another life I supported business offices that would have benefited from such a capability ... thank you.

On any computer, let us select all Ports that are currently listening. On Windows boxes, if Windows Firewall is running, allow us to narrow that choice to all inbound ports open in Windows Firewall.

Hi again, Love your new roadmap inspiring to watch this software evolve to an even more useful product for all it administrators out there. Impressive stuff. One useful thing would be to parse a log for errors at a scheduled time and escalate if threshold is violated, just like you do with the event log. Best regards Johnni
