Dilbert got a reaction from jhjacobs in Eset Remote Administrator Connection Difficulties
    Hi Paul,
how can we trust you on any promised feature? Nearly every question for a new feature in this forum is on your ever growing roadmap. Pulseway can be a great product and when we decided to buy the enterprise version nearly one year ago, I thought that the GUI is really great and clean and that it is easy to add new features, etc. But what did you do in the last year? Yes, you have added the scripting (which is very nice). You also added an Antivirus solution (at extra cost). The promised patch management is not available, the promised support for ESET v6 will never be available, many other promised features are on your roadmap since years but nothing happens. The only supported backup solutions are ShadowProtect and Windows Server Backup. What about the big players on the market like Veeam?
We didn't upgrade our customers to ESET v6 because of the lack of support from Pulseway yet. Now I know that it will never be supported. This means, that we will have to switch to Pulseway Antivirus or use another monitoring solutions. If you read my post carefully, you know the answer.

Dilbert got a reaction from Paul in Group Scripts From Mobiles
    Hi,
it would make life much easier if we can execute scripts on groups and scopes without creating seperate tasks. I have a script that I normally execute only once on a new agent. At the moment, I run it manually on every agent.

    Hi,

Is it posible to return a graph from a plugin?
I am interested in returning value in a graph like the one used in CPU, Memory, etc.

Dilbert got a reaction from Rick in Best Practice for multiple users
Wouldn't it be better to use username and password just for registering the agent with the server and then exchange a key between both systems? This way it qould be easy to move systems between users without changing anything in the agent configuration. Even password changes could be survived by the agent.

It would also be great to have more icons in the SimpleItemStyle enumeration. A green check would be nice.

    Hi Dilbert,
Thank you for your feedback. We plan on supporting custom icons for the API in the future. Great idea .

Dilbert reacted to nsdadmin in This is not 2FA
This is not 2FA... it's bothering you with an email to login to your account. Two-Factor requires any two of these:
Something you know (your username & password, check) Something you have (a software/hardware code generator, a Yubikey) Something you are (fingerprint, etc.) Bio-metrics are far from perfect, and usually avoided in these situations - I'm just amazed you went through the effort to implement this "2 factor send you an email" when it's simple to implement the time-based solution that is used by Google and others. I've been waiting for a long time for you to add 2FA - and to have it implemented like this is insulting; I feel like you made a half-hearted attempt to placate me (and others that want 2FA).

    Do it right, folks. Please.

    Hi,
Thank you for your feedback. Pulseway currently only supports sending OTP via email at this moment, we have plans for adding support for Google Authenticator in the future too. This is a feature that is very functional and it does add another layer of security.

Is there a settings where all pulseway users get access to all newly added computers with pulseway installation, so we dont need to give access to a new computer to a pulseway user on each install.

    thanks.

Dilbert reacted to Martin Stevnhoved in Windows Updates - can we ignore the last X days
    Hi MMSOFT,

Pulseway can already send us a notification "when critical or important updates are available".
But we would like to be able to specify a time period in days, before we get a notification

We have an other mecanism/script that installs Windows updates, but we would like to use the pulseway notication as fallback.
So basicly we would like to enter a number of days, so the the search for available updates ignores updates released within the last X days.

At the same time it would be nice to change the Windows update search criteria string

    Defaults could be someting like:

    string: IsInstalled=0 and Type='Software' and IsHidden=0 days: 14
    Any thoughts about this?

    Best Regards,
    Martin Stevnhoved
