If you haven't get the PC Monitor Enterprise Server you don't need to enter a dedicated server. Simply enter the username and password of the account you created.
On installation a unique identifier is generated for the computer. After reinstall the old identifier is lost - we do not identify the computer by name and group name.
You're welcome.
Try turning the Diagnostic loggin on in the Manager -> Settings -> Diagnostics and then issue the Update command to that computer from your mobile. If the update failed please send us the trace.log file you can find in the PC Monitor installation folder. As well, include the update.log file from the same location.
In the PC Monitor Manager app - Registered Computers list you can see the agent version for each computer. There is no notification when a new client is available (other than the info in the computer details on the the mobile app) but the agent will update automatically (unless you disable that option).
The first thing to do is to enable diagnostics logging in PC Monitor Manager -> Settings -> Diagnostics. After an hour email us the trace.log file that can be found in the PC Monitor installation folder - it will give us an indication of the issue.
You have the agent installed on 4 computers - open the PC Monitor Manager app on one of them and press the "Manage Computers" button - you will see all 4 computers and you will be able to remove one.
On your mobile app you will only see the maximum allowed number that's why you can't see the forth one.
We will add an option in the PC Monitor Admin app to use your own salting parameter. It will then be combined with your server Url to make it unique for each Enterprise Server instance.
We cannot provide the salting algorithm but we can surely help you authenticate using your own applications.
Please email us your requirements and we will do our best to help and, if needed, extend the API to support them.
