Hi, PC Monitor runs as a service, you don't have to turn off any account password. In fact, you don't even need to be logged in for the PC Monitor service to start. Hope this helps.

You're welcome Steve.

Update: We have released a new Windows Agent and the Audit report should start appearing on the mobile device. The audit report includes all the info with the exception of OS Key - for privacy reasons this is stored on the server only if you host your own Enterprise server.

Hi, When you created an account we also activated a trial subscription so you can test all the features. Once that trial subscription expires you will still be able to monitor and manage up to 5 systems for non-commercial use. As for commercial use, see the Terms of Service. If you monitor and manage more than one Windows Server it is considered commercial use. Hope this helps.

Great, thanks for the update. The upgrade from 4.0.4 to 4.0.5 happened after the 4.0.4 was able to start successfully.

Please download and run the Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool from http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135 It should fix the issue, please let us know.

This is a .NET issue, we are investigating. It appears to affect only a limited number of Windows 8.1 installations. Could you please download and run the .NET Framework Repair Tool from: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30135 Let us know if it fixes the issue.

When you remove the notification as an associated account the main account notification is cleared. Once the main notification is deleted it will propagate to all the other associated accounts. Can you please check that for that main account "Associated Accounts Can Clear Notifications" option is checked?

This seems to be a recent IE issue: http://connect.microsoft.com/IE/feedback/details/800433/kb2870699-breaks-ie-msi-signature-validation We could not reproduce this issue, could you please try again? If you still have an issue use a different browser.

In the Pulseway Admin tool -> Server Settings check the "Systems Offline Check Interval" setting.
-
For now the only way to customise the interval is if you host your own Enterprise Server. We will consider adding this in account settings.

New User - Need help with installation
Marius replied to walterm99's topic in Installation & Configuration
Please send us an email to support and we will help you with the configuration. Your server appears OK from here, it might be something related to your internal network config. Also, you should only open the 443 port. -
Thanks, that's helpful. I assume the service stopped notification is set to fire when a service is stopped for 1 minute - I would change that to 10 in this case.
-
We're going to support jumping to the system that caused the notification in a next release.

Hi, How long does it take for your computer to shut down or restart?
-
On Mountain Lion I start the App and nothing happens.

Another user sent us by email the log with the MACH_PORT_NULL error so the advice applies to him. In your case, please send us the log so we can investigate. -
No, there is no such limitation. It could be a wrong username/password or some sort of problem connecting (firewall / proxy block).
-
Have you entered the dedicated server address at login?
-
Is there anything in the Application Event Log related to PC Monitor? Also, could you export the configuration from PC Monitor Manager (without the account details) and send it to our support email address? Thank you
-
Yes, but only if it is possible. Otherwise we will get in touch by email to find out more about the configuration. Thanks.
-
Hi Luca, Try this: http://forum.pulseway.com/topic/148-service-not-installed-on-winsbs-2011/ - it should work. The idea is to remove the PC Monitor service and try the installation again. Hope this helps. Marius

Could you please export the configuration from PC Monitor Manager without the authentication details and email it to support at mobilepcmonitor dot com? Thank you.
