If I have a workstation configured to Download updates but let me choose when to install them, and I then use Pulseway to Check for updates. If the updates are already downloaded will Pulseway just install them or will it re-download the updates and then install them?

Hi, I hope I'm posting in the right place... I am trying to send a command to a monitored computer via the web-based terminal (also tried from the iPad app), but I receive a message within the terminal which states, "Access Denied. The device is not authorized." I have tried other commands which also failed. Is there something simple I missed in the config? OS: Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 Role: Domain Controller PC Monitor Version: 2.4.1 Thank you!

Hi. Does the Zendesk integration require a specific Zendesk plan, or will it work no matter what plan you have? http://www.zendesk.com/product/pricing Best Regards, Martin Stevnhoved.

Hi. I don't find the SQL Server module under notifications. Does that mean that SQL is not monitored - but only managed. It would be nice to get notifications from SQL Server. eg: - When SQL Agent jobs fails. - When deadlocks occurs. - When fillrate in data and log files reaches XX %, and autogrowth is disabled. - When autogrowth is enabled, but the free diskspace allows less than XX file expansions - When a specified SQL-statement returns more than 0 rows or a specific value Best Regards Martin Stevnhoved Abakion A/S

Is it possible to set something within PC monitor to automatically restart a server a specific time or to setup a schedule to do this? I know it can be done through schedule tasks on the server its self and then you can monitor the task, but can it be done from within PC monitor?

I just downloaded the free version and cant find an answer.. Is it possible to see - on my Android phone - using the PCM Android app - if the PC I'm monitoring has its "monitor/screen hardware" either on or off?? And while I use that PC remotely to lock them out of "my Win7 user profile" ???? I have the problem that other people at the remote location jump on and mess around when I'm trying to remotely connect - I want to shut them down remotely.... Somehow lock the PC... I hope so...

Hi There. Apologies if this is more of a case of my getting something wrong with my cmdlets but I'm struggling with the Powershell on my iPhone app. I have a batch file I would like to be able to execute from my phone however I'm struggling to get it to work. I'm using the following cmdlet... start-process c:\bat\filename.bat ... however I keep getting the following error message... "Error: This command cannot be executed due to the error: The system cannot find the file specified" I've checked the location of the batch file and it's definitely correct. I did try putting the file and location in ""'s and this returned a "Command executed successfully" …

  9. Hello, I recently installed the PC Monitor app on a Microsoft Surface (Windows RT) device, and the PC Monitor Manager software onto our backup server. I'm quite impressed with the capabilities of this application! It is quite nice to see, in real-time, the various stats of the server, especially on the Surface. Remote management is a snap! One area I am curious about is integration with Microsoft System Center: Data Protection Manager. I doubt I would see such integration any time soon. But is it even possible? As a backup administrator, I'm regularly connecting to the server and checking on backup job status, data source protection, the amount of space available in…

I hope this is the right place to post this. I was looking over the different forms for an answer but was not able to find one, and this topic is related to probably all versions of PC monitor other then enterprise. I currently am running PC Monitor on probably close to 15 windows machines right now and just recently noticed that certain computers are no longer reporting stats or notifications. After looking into it a little further it looks like all machines from that location has stopped connecting to the PC Monitor Server. I have been working with a few of our other IT guys and we thought it could be the firewall but was unable to pinpoint the IP address used to tr…

  11. It occurs to me that I could monitor for an associated eventlog entry for usb device unplugged to catch a removed mouse or keyboard but wonder if there's a more elegant way. Thanks, Bill

Having a small problem here. Ive got PC Monitor on two Win 7 64 machines which functions with WOL perfectly over the internet without any port forwarding on the router. I also have it installed on one Ubuntu 64 10.04 machine which will not wake up at all using PC Monitor but will using other WOL apps. Ive tried forwarding port 9 on the router to the machine with no luck, it wont wake up at all with PC Monitor either from the Android Client or server side command LAN and WAN. The Android client says "unable to send command" Out of all the machines this is the one I need to work with WOL. Any ideas guys?

Hi, It would be nice to have a report (day/week/month) of the notifications or actions made on the Pcs, and also to have the possibility to send it via email. Thanks! Daniele
