  1. Looks like a root SSL certificate problem - can you make sure your server can update the root certificates? The cert chain is valid on all our servers. To test on your server open https://ws2.pulseway.com/Server.svc from that machine as well as the other ones. Thanks

    Security concern

    Hi, We are storing a very limited amount of information about your monitored systems (Name, OS version, IP Address and Mac Address) on our servers, any other system info including files and data that you get to see on your monitored devices are sent by the agent to our cloud servers and temporarily stored in an encrypted block of memory for a few seconds, sent to the mobile device itself and then deleted. We use RSA Key Exchange mechanism with a 2046 bit encryption for packet transport providing you with the maximum security there is. Our servers are located in a secure datacenter and we have a high security policy restricting access to only authorised staff; not even our staff can access your account system details, only the account registration information. Also, the account details are encrypted and the password is salted. The solution provides you with several protection mechanisms: - Two-step authentication; - Device command authorisation for each system - allowing you to limit the mobile devices that can send commands to that monitored system; - Device access policies - allowing you to globally restrict each device access to the systems including default policies; - Notifications for each device added to the account. Finally, every command that is being executed on a monitored system (including file browsing commands) is being logged in the Application Event Log on that system. Hope this helps.

  7. Please enable the diagnostic logging in the PC Manager settings, restart that computer and after about 1 minute send us the trace.log file that can be found in the PC Monitor installation folder.
  8. Is there anything logged in the Application event log? Also, if you start the service manually it will work? Does it stop after a few seconds?

  17. Unfortunately Windows Server Backup module requires Windows Server Backup Command Line-tools feature that is available on Windows Server 2008 R2 or higher server OS. We have corrected the requirements info on the web site as well as on the Manager (will be reflected in the Manager at the next update). The requirements in the user manual http://pulseway.com/usermanual page 52 are correct.

  20. Hi Paul, This issue occurs when you have authorised only certain devices to perform actions on that computer in PC Monitor Settings -> Devices tab. We will address this issue in the next release. Regards, Marius

  24. You could export a base config and then import it while doing the tweak for each server. A better option would be to define group policies.
