Hi Wondering if anyone has managed to get one of the UNIX/Linux agents to install on one of these NAS units? The RPM install looks like it should work but rpm errors with no gzip installed. Looks like it may need a custom agent package created in .APK to suit Asustor ADM v2 Cheers

I have this error on the logs of Debian : May 27 12:40:23 xivo pulseway: Error while registering computer:SOAP 1.1 fault: SOAP-ENV:Client[no subcode]#012"SSL_ERROR_SSL#012error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed"#012Detail: SSL_connect error in tcp_connect() And, when i type this command, this error appear : root@xivo:~# openssl s_client -CApath /usr/libs/ssl/certs -quiet -connect wsn.pulseway.com:443 gethostbyname failure connect:errno=0 And when i ping wsn.pulseway.com on my Windows computer, wsn.pulseway.com don't respond. As requesed by support, I am posting my issues and configuration information. This is a newly setup and configured Slackware 14.1 64-bit server and it is fully patched. Interesting part is I get the same error/results when I tried the agent on a Slackware 13.37 32-bit server (I know not technically supported, but I was trying for testing purposes and I think it'll actually work...). The errors I see are similar to those posted by another forum member recently at this url: http://forum.pulseway.com/topic/1452-error-with-pulseway-agent/ Something to do with the use of SOAP, etc. Can't seem to register or get server cert... Is it / will it be possible to get system OS updates availability? An aptitude monitor to return number of system updates would be fantastic.

More as an explatory experiment than a question for production, but is it possible to run Pulseway in an LXC container, for the purposes of it monitoring the host? It seems like a reasonable question for a container (as opposed to a VM). How does Pulseway monitor a system? Is it by using proc etc? These can be "passed" in from the host, so it might be possible.

I have installed Pulseway on my unraid server and it has ben working great. I can monitor everything and shutdown/restart the machine. However, wake on lan is not working at all. I have enabled it in the BIOS and in the OS. I can wake the machine using my router, but not with the Pulseway app. In the config.xml file I have WoWAN set to true and the port to 9 (also tried 50000) and it still doesn't work. Is there something I am missing? P.S. I also have a Windows machine that has WOW working perfectly. Thank you for your help.

I am unable to register a machine after installing the package on the newest version of ubuntu. I get the following error: Would you like to register or unregister the system? [1] Register System [2] Exit Enter selection: 1 Please enter a username: MAIN Please enter the password: Use custom server? [y|n] n An error encountered while processing the request. I have set it up and it works. But it keeps going offline. The fact that it works temporarily indicates its not an issue with my router settings. I do have a proxy set up on Unraid but that is through a docker container which only applies to certain programs. I have tried disabling it and is still has the same issue. No VPN set up. Hi. I have a CentOS machine that I've been trying to get pulseway working on. I could not find anyone having the same problem. I have successfully installed pulseway, or at least the system thinks so. I edited the config file and removed the sample text from the name. However, when I attempt to start pulseway, the terminal gives me no indication of success or failure. However, when I check the systemctl logs, it claims that pulseway failed to start because of a missing file. I searched for the file, and it was indeed there. Can anyone help me with this? Hello there, I was in the process of configuring my Pulseway agent on a VPS running Ubuntu Server 20.04 and I ran in this interesting bug. I am trying to configure Pulseway on my Ubuntu Server 20.04 LTS machine, but I'm having issues getting it to recognise systemd services. The services I want to monitor are smbd, plexmediaserver and clamav-freshclam. Regardless of what configuration I use, none of these services are even recognised by Pulseway let alone monitored. I have also tried setting each service as "NONE", "UPSTART" and "SYSVINIT" but nothing seems to work. Hi, I installed pulseway to my arch linux machine, the registration went fine. The machine is visible under "Account -> Manage Systems" and also "Sites" menu. However it is not visible under "Systems -> Systems" and also keeps sending me notification "There was an error retrieving the notification." I have tried to go through logs etc. however I cant find the problem. Can anyone tell me what seems to be the problem. Moving from an old piece of hardware to a new one. Getting the following message from the agent. Moving an existing config to a new server, but getting "Error while registering computer:Empty response I've tried unregistering it, and re-registering it, no love. Any idea's? Thanks, Wes

We are having some issues regarding offline notifications. The problem is that when the servers are rebooted for whatever reason, this does not generate a offline notification. It will only trigger if the server has been down for at least 5 minutes. For Windows servers the notification "Send a notification when the computer is shutting down" is working great, only this does not seem to function on Linux machines. Is there another way to track when a server gets a reboot and is back online within that 5 minute period?
