Is there a way to automatically clear alerts when the condition no longer exists on next poll. For example is a service is not started then gets started, can the alert automatically clear from the device?

Hello My company manages several clients across several techs. Each tech needs to only see notifications for their client (clients are in their own Groups in PC Monitor) I know you can limit access to groups via Device but if you give a certain device no access to a group that device will still get notifications from the group. Is there a way of limiting notifications to only certain groups on the mobile app's? Cheers.

Someone changed the windows password for the local administrator account on a stand alone machine and decided to not write it down!!! Luckily I had my fantastic PCMonitor installed! I tried doing this using dsmod and going crazy trying to find it then looked into powershell but both were very difficult to use to do this and did not work. Again this is a local account and not in AD. Then I tried the following at the command shell: net user administrator Password1 and the password was changed! It would be nice if we could have an interface to change user passwords though... :-)

I am running a simple home server using Filezilla on an old Toshiba Laptop. PC monitor works great but I have little issue. I can put it in a suspend state and I can also wake as well. Once woken I can connect to the server and such just fine. But after a min or two, the PC enters suspended state again. I have tried with the lid open, and closed and made sure pc does not require password on wake, and that closing the lid does nothing. Any ideas?

Hi Hopefully someone can help... new user so bare with me. I recently installed PC Monitor on my Windows 7 computer and Android mobile device. Awesome bit of software and I have only just scraped the surface of its full capabilities. I am able to turn the PC on using my mobile phone no problem, but once the PC boots up I am taken to the Windows User log in screen which requires a password before I can log into Windows. I can't see anyway to remotely enter the password in order for Windows to load. Am I totally missing something or is there no work around for this? Someone please help because I am completely stumped otherwise. Chris

Hello! I started testing PCMonitor a week ago and I am very pleased with what it's offering except one thing ... I'm really missing an insight of monitored system history (uptime, cpu/memory usage etc.). It would be really cool if there were some graphs so that you could see how did the server behave through time. You do show a graph of cpu/memory usage, but that is like 30 sec or so which doesn't tell you much in my opinion. Can we, if we buy enterprise version of PCMonitor, configure it to retain information we are interested in in database and build a custom application upon it? Regards, Davorin

Hey guys, i'm having an issue or 2 with a laptop i'm administrating in a Nursing home its a Lenovo ThinkPad X131e (3369) I3 4GB and 500GB hdd (80%free) Webcam: The webcam will only take one shot and then will stop responding to commands, on the PC client it will work fine the 1st shot after a reboot. If you then attempt another shot a few hours latter it thinks about it for less then 5 seconds then displays Data Not Available. on the Android client (Samsung S3) it takes 2 or 3 seconds then just black, don't have an iOS device It has always been like this, since setup 4 weeks ago... I understand that I can get a notification if a server goes down, but I have a specific situation that I want to present to see if this will work. I have a server on a network that occasionally has issues. The issue is caused by our Internet provider and what happens is the network can reach the Internet, but no traffic comes in. Will I get notified of an issue in this case? Does PC Monitor rely fully on the data being sent from the client? Or does it attempt to connect to or ping the client from the outside ever?

Hi! Is there a way while booting the computer to bypass the start of pc monitor service? I'm using pc monitor to keep track of one of my kids usage of the pc but all of a sudden it has stoped working so maybe someone have found a way to bypass it while booting or just end the autostart of the service?! Hi Guys, great product but I need to know if there is a way to run reports over a month time period for a single client machine, or group of machines? My clients would to see stats on their servers/PC's for the month. I would like to be able to track trends on performance over a 6 month and yearly period also. this will help with new sales opportunities when Servers run low of resources, I can show them trends which support my recommendations.

Hi. As the title says really; I would like to monitor my GPU temps along with the rest of my hardware. Everything is fine except no GPU is shown in the app. I have an XFX R9 270. It used to work on my old 4870x2. Compatibility issues maybe? Still an excellent app though, can't really fault it! Thanks /J Y P

I enable the feature on one of my servers but I don't see where they would go to make the request. Also, how can I add that feature to the rest of my servers without going to each one. We have close to 100 and it would take a while.

does anyone know whether the status notifications can be changed to send as elevated rather than just normal? say if the public ip of a site changes (not ideal for a server, but what can you do while in contract and BT charge you to change to static) pc monitor does send a notification, but its not elevated so i dont see it unless i go into the server on the dashboard, could do with it grabbing my attention as things need to be changed asap. thanks gary

A customer switched to a new IT company and I no longer have access to the server yet the PC monitor app is on it and I am concerned they will try to use an application to try and decode the asterisks that you see for the password in the app. Is there any way to remotely uninstall the app or delete the user account info used?

Hello to All members, I hope somebody could advise me if it is an issue of PC Monitor. At home I have a running server with several HDDs. It is setup to suspend/spin down the disks after 30 min of no activity. After installing PC monitor service my impression is that none of the disks get suspended. I run the WIndows 8 OS. The impression has been confirmed by the power consumption meter. Any idea what could be the issue and how to solve it. Cheers

does anyone know whether there is a way to get offline systems to be flagged as a critical notification for example in the notifications tab, then status the top tick box is for when a computer is offline, which that shows as red on the dashboard, but we have that many servers with pc monitor installed that we have the dashboard set up to only show critical alerts but it doesnt show the offline systems

I am monitoring several computers and I was editing some notifications and also changed the group name and now when I try to access the computers from the dash board to edit computer settings it rejects my password. Even on local computer, after clicking on "click here to allow changes" it rejects my password. I am pretty sure I did not change it. What am I doing wrong? Thank you.

We run a series of game servers and pc monitor is great to notify when an application crashes. However when it crashes users are disconnected and are unable to reconnect. Typically I'll update the twitter account to let them know of the status, but it would be great to have the system do it automatically. Possibly with a time stamp? If anyone knows of a way to do it, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I am in the process of testing PC Monitor and I noticed Remote Desktop Connection in the dashboard. I completely turned off the firewall on client's computer but it still comes back with error "Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer for one of these reasons" My questions are: 1. is it enabled in the free account or do I need a valid paid subscription? 2. is it to control that particular computer just like sitting at it? 3. is it available for a client's computer running other than Windows Pro?
