Martin Stevnhoved Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Hi.. Â I would like a generic WMI module - just like Performance Counters. It would be nice. Â Best Regards, Martin Stevnhoved Abakion A/S
Staff Chris Posted November 24, 2014 Staff Posted November 24, 2014 Hi Martin, Â We're considering the available ways of achieving this. Thanks for the feedback. Â Regards, Chris Pulseway Support
Martin Stevnhoved Posted August 16, 2017 Author Posted August 16, 2017 Hi. I would still note that this would be a HUGE improvement. It would make it possible to make you own notifications, without learning c# and writing plugins. Right now I am looking a notifying if the DFS-R state is not normal (<>4). It would be so simple with a generic WMI module.Â
Administrators Paul Posted August 17, 2017 Administrators Posted August 17, 2017 Hi Martin, We're considering on implementing this as a similar feature to the SQL Server custom query notifications if you've tried them already. It will allow you to specify a WMI query that returns a single row with some columns for which you can setup notification rules. What do you think of this approach? -Paul
Martin Stevnhoved Posted August 18, 2017 Author Posted August 18, 2017 That would be very nice. !! But sometimes it would return more rows. So a notification setting could also be if the criteria has been met on Any, All or None records.Â
