  1. In that case you need to use the mobile applications (the ones you run on your smartphones to see your computers) or you could always buy a subscription.
  2. Hello Todde, pcmontask.exe is something related to some internal functionality of PC Monitor. You don't need to run it manually. These clients let you see your connected computers: Mobile Clients on smartphones Windows 8 app (PC Monitor from store) PC Monitor Dashboard PC Monitor Web App (at: https://my.pulseway.com)
  3. You mean you can run PC Monitor (The metro app) but you can't run PC Monitor Manager (Windows service configurator)? Are you receiving any errors? Also you might be reffering to PC Monitor Dashboard (The windows dashboard app that gives an insight about current status of the computers and notifications).
  4. Can you please try the solution in this topic? http://forum.pulseway.com/topic/352-install-pc-monitor-on-w7-x64-error-1001-installutillibdll-unknown-error/
  5. Can you check the installation folder to see if you happen to have a file called update.log? Can you please post the contents of the file here?
  6. Aparently this is something related to the Xen Server itself rather than PC Monitor. I've found a forum post on their forums about the same problem you are experiencing however nobody replied: http://forums.citrix.com/thread.jspa?threadID=257950&tstart=315
  7. Well it depends from case to case. I never use DHCP and my DNS server never failed me but I monitor it with the service monitoring feature of pc monitor so monitoring dns event log entries is just redundant. Yes, if the event contains one of the configured keywords you will receieve a notification. Windows Server Backup is kind of hard to monitor at the moment, you need to research it's event IDs and pinpoint every possible case.
  8. Disk, disk, controller, raid, failed, bluescreen, dump Those are my commonly used keywords.
  9. Try creating an autologon for an user and see if the problem is resolved.
  10. No. Group policies are applied to one group only.
  11. There are some features missing because they might not apply to all systems. If you can't use it, export the registry settings you need to push to your clients and import them via GPO or your favorite provisioning system.
  12. I've been there too Adam. It's a big step from 0€ per year to 45€ per year. However in my quest for alternatives I couldn't find any proper alternative for PC Monitor in terms of pricing and features. I believe that PC Monitor have very competitive prices, I can't name one product that can match PC Monitor's features that offers five computers with 45€ once a year.
  13. Have you checked in the event log to see if the user actually gets locked?
  14. That tool should have wiped all .NET frameworks but since you are running windows 7, .NET FW 3.5 is critical for system features so that's why it never got removed. Sadly I'm out of ideas. My only advice now is to try to reinstall the machine, or to install inside a virtual machine to see if you can reproduce the problem. This is very odd to be honest, the error is related to a missing dll file however reinstalling the product should have fixed the problem.
  15. Hello Dipesh, Mobile PC Monitor does not support all hardware chips thus not all mainboards are being detected. Regarding there other two request, they are not possible at the moment, but maybe they will consider them for a future release.
  16. PC Monitor is autoupdating in a maximum of 24 hours of the release. However it will not update if you happen to have PC Monitor Manager running. You can manually ask the agent to update itself from the mobile app by tapping the version in the Computer Details page.

    Mac OS X Mavericks

As far as I know Mobile PC Monitor doesn't release beta versions due to their commitment for quality releases. We are all eager for an update that supports Mavericks .
  18. Any news about the tests? If you are looking for a .NET Removal Tool use this one. This tool I use frequently to solve .NET problems and it's safe to use.
  19. As far as I know the time must be correct in order to have trusted SSL connection.
  20. This is possible with the use of Group Policies. Please consult the user manual: http://www.pulseway.com/manual
  21. I can reproduce this error if .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is not installed. Can you please confirm you have .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 is installed? If the problem persists I recommend you to run a .NET removal tool and reinstall .NET 3.5 with SP1 and .NET 4.0 . The error HRESULT: 0x800703E6 can only happen if you have a problem with dll files (missing or corrupt). It's very curious tho that it happed on two of your computers at the same time. Have you updated your operating system at that time? Paul.

    Badges on iOS devices

Due to iOS API such behavior is normal and is controlled by the operating system not the application. PUSH Badges are controlled by the operating system and the application has little control over it. So in other words this is normal behavior. No. Only after you enter the application.
  23. It's identical with mine. This is really odd. Can you make a dir or a tree of files under C:\Program Files\PCMonitor? That HResult error is related to a missing dll file. Also under C:\Windows\Microsoft .NET\Framework 64\v4... exists a file called System.ServiceModel.dll?
  24. Can you pastebin or gist your pcmonitormanager.exe.config to see if there are any differences from what I've got?
  25. Software report already exists however it's for all of your devices.
