"Does it allow me to have my web app act as an Authorized device in some way (which would be great)"
Yes - you are right James - it will register as an authorized device.
We support adding more computers to the existing subscription without changing the expiration date as well as extending the expiration date.
What we will not support is having different expiration dates for the same account.
We had the same problem with two different expiration dates - that's why we took out the PayPal payment from the web site.
We will consider adding a payment module API so you can programmatically change the subscription details.
Please enable the diagnostic logging in the Manager and send us the trace.log file from the PC Monitor install folder by email. Please email us your account username too.
We have had a confirmation from another user that the update has fixed the issue.
We are investigating this.
Update: We have corrected the problem that occurs only in certain conditions and released an update. Please restart the PC Monitor service on that computer and the patch will be applied automatically.
Thanks for your help.
During update the user helper app (pcmontask) it's being closed - it will restart next time a user logs in or when you run the PC Monitor Manager.
Chris Update 2015: This is no longer the case. After the update Pulseway will automatically restart the user helper app (pcmontask).
Since 3.0 the PC Monitor iOS app no longer relies on the UDID and it uses a different installation ID to uniquely register and authenticate the device.
Hi,
1 - you can export / import a config
2 - use the PC Monitor Manager app and press the "Account Details" - you will be able to activate email notifications
3 - set the email distribution list and all alerts will go to the admins. You can also install the app on their phones and use the "Registered Devices" button in the manager to control each mobile phone access policy (and the default policy).
Hope this helps.
