  4. I'm using the android app to remote control devices from a Chromebook, but it's far from ideal.. I've noticed that it bypasses the MFA-login for instance, and the actual remote session is a bit difficult to use (you have to use two fingers on the touchpad in order to control a remote cursor). These are issues I was looking forward to see resolved with a web based remote control solution, but that doesn't seem to be in development. At least not for the time being. Here's a feature request I did about the web based solution: https://pulseway.featureupvote.com/suggestions/170678/web-based-remote-control
  5. Hi, I recently switched to using a Chromebook as my main device and was hoping to ditch TeamViewer as my main remote support app, but I have just realised that Pulseway does not have a remote support function for me to remote from my Chomebook onto any other devices, like TV does. Would be great if you could add this ability please.
  6. Hi there, I've recently started using pulseway again after mostly phasing it out of my use in my home environment. I'm aware that you've changed policy and now no longer have a free tier, although users who previously signed up still have access. I would like to know about the process of converting my existing free tier account over to a paid account as i've already hit the limit of two endpoints again which stopped me from fully adopting pulseway the first time around. Looking at the pricing it seems you have a flat fee rather than a per-endpoint. What is the total number of endpoints included in that plan? And how would I go about transitioning my account to the paid tier? Can I continue to use my personal email, as I see you no longer accept new accounts with non-work emails? Just to be clear, I do not run a business, but rather wish to use pulseway for management of my home network environment (with a large number of physical machines and VMs), as other solutions don't really compare to yours. If this isn't an option anymore, I can't say I won't be disappointed, but I will happily look elsewhere.
  7. Thanks for your suggestion, please feel free to share the same in our roadmap page: https://pulseway.featureupvote.com/
  8. You can just use the RunAs PowerShell module as well to accomplish this if you don't feel like dealing with psexec and having to distribute the package yourself. This works fine for logged in users. It will check if you have the RunAs module installed and if not, install it first. $ErrorActionPreference = "SilentlyContinue" if (!(Get-InstalledModule | Where-Object { $_.Name -eq "RunAsUser" })) { Write-Host "Not Installed. Installing" Install-Module RunAsUser -Force } $ScriptBlock = { winget install Microsoft.PowerToys --source winget } Invoke-ASCurrentUser -ScriptBlock $ScriptBlock Write-Host "Check Device to ensure PowerToys installed successfully." Exit 0
  9. Hi Evan, winget is an msix (Windows Store Component, source) that must run in a per-user sandbox which is not available when running from the machine account (SYSTEM). You could force it to run against the logged in user (if any) through psexec but you'd need to distribute it somehow. -Paul

  12. I didn't know that was possible, Ill take a look. Although a pause updates button would still be handy.
  13. Why not just exclude the updates that are giving you trouble?
  14. Due to an issue this month with the Windows updates on some domain controllers I would like to pause (skip) the scheduled updates I have set in Pulsway this month. I assume I could just change the scheduled time to next month but would be way simpler to just be able to click pause. Is there a pause option? Do i need to change the scheduled time of the update or is there a better way? Cheers :-)
  15. Hello, i am trying to setup a very simple script to install powertoys as we have a need for the image resize feature on some computers. it can be installed using the winget cmdlet in powershell or the windows terminal, i have run it manually on both widows 10 and 11, but running the script the pulseway give be the following $ winget install Microsoft.PowerToys --source winget winget : The term 'winget' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again. At line:1 char:1 + winget install Microsoft.PowerToys --source winget + ~~~~~~ + CategoryInfo : ObjectNotFound: (winget:String) [], CommandNotFoundException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : CommandNotFoundException
  16. Is there a way to display time stamps on reports? For instance, when running the the CPU use report - the graphs is great and all, but it would be nice to have some more data like time of day. Or maybe at least can I find out when the agent polls the server?
  17. Affected machines are Ubuntu Server 18.04.6 LTS and 20.04.4 LTS
  18. Several Linux machines behind proxy server are suddenly showing as offline. No changes to proxy or network so assume there has been a software update? I have tested with the proxy server configured as an IP Address, and hostname. The above is when configured with IP Address. config.xml
  19. No core dump was produced even though the output shows one was being created. I have a few personally archived Pulseway versions so I installed the older version and can confirm it starts no problem. ● pulseway.service - LSB: Monitor and Control Everything IT from Any Smartphone or Tablet Loaded: loaded (/etc/init.d/pulseway; generated) Active: active (running) since Sun 2022-05-15 07:34:23 CDT; 3s ago Docs: man:systemd-sysv-generator(8) Process: 15533 ExecStart=/etc/init.d/pulseway start (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) Main PID: 13502 (code=dumped, signal=SEGV) Tasks: 3 (limit: 4915) CGroup: /system.slice/pulseway.service └─15540 /usr/sbin/pulsewayd May 15 07:34:23 DD-SVR systemd[1]: Starting LSB: Monitor and Control Everything IT from Any Smartphone or May 15 07:34:23 DD-SVR pulseway[15539]: Starting Pulseway Daemon version 4.9.3 (2016100601) May 15 07:34:23 DD-SVR systemd[1]: Started LSB: Monitor and Control Everything IT from Any Smartphone or T May 15 07:34:23 DD-SVR pulseway[15540]: Configuration read successfully!
  20. Hi Mark, Thanks for the response and your testing. I’ve PM’d you a link to a core dump file and the config.xml Thanks again for taking a look!
  21. We have tried to replicate the issues on vanilla RHEL8.5 and Debian11 environments but everything works as expected. Can you upload somewhere the core-dump and PM the link? Will be useful to include the config.xml as well. We'll investigate this with priority. Thanks!
  22. Same here. A few days ago, daemon for a couple Debian servers just randomly crashed around 0300 and will not start again. Tried to remove and re-install but nothing. Pretty sure an update for Pulseway was pushed that caused it. There were no changes/updates on the systems that could have caused it. Installing current version does not fix it, even after purging install. pulseway.service - Remotely Monitor and Control IT Systems Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/pulseway.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled) Active: failed (Result: core-dump) since Sat 2022-05-14 07:35:57 CDT; 4s ago Process: 20048 ExecStart=/usr/sbin/pulsewayd --no-daemonize (code=dumped, signal=BUS) Process: 19981 ExecStartPre=/bin/sleep 10 (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) Main PID: 20048 (code=dumped, signal=BUS) May 14 07:35:47 DD-SVR systemd[1]: Starting Remotely Monitor and Control IT Systems... 23. Over the past day, Pulseway daemons on my RHEL 8 systems and the one Debian 11 system I have crash on their own accord with the following in the logs: May 12 22:22:13 ZZZhostname systemd[1]: Starting Remotely Monitor and Control IT Systems... 24. I can give you some links to get started... Install SNMP on Windows: https://theitbros.com/snmp-service-on-windows-10/ It looks like both Group Policy and registry merge work for setting most of the parameters. You'll want to pay attention to the security issues, especially for laptops. Otherwise, this has lots of Powershell that should be pretty straightforward to assemble into a script for Win10 (and maybe Win11) Also worth reading, but less helpful than the link above: https://blog.paessler.com/how-to-enable-snmp-on-your-operating-system The best reason to read this one is if you support Linux or Mac and need SNMP on those systems.
  25. Hi, I work for a small IT business that is attempting to set up Network Glue (Basically a network information collector) which uses SNMP to collect information. I'm looking for a script that can install the SNMP service, and then adjust the settings to change startup to automatic, set the service to allow sending all possible information, (example shown in screenshot), set the community name to public, allow that community READ ONLY rights, and only accept SNMP packets from the Hostname "Twiz-PC". I've seen some stuff online but we are not fluent enough in Powershell to risk editing registry stuff ourselves, and having this automation will greatly help us in deploying to our clients. I was wondering if anyone on here already has a similar script that we could adjust for our needs. Thanks in advance!
  26. The recommended way is to get a new Pulseway server installation with the new domain and move endpoints using a script as documented here: -Paul
  27. Hello, We have a deployment with around 200 endpoints based on various customer sites. Corporate have informed us that we are required to decommition the current domain name and move to a new one. Please could someone advise how we could move to a new domain (URL), without breaking the current endpoints we have configured, withought manually re-installing each one individually! Is there a way for this to be pushed to all current endpoints? Many Thanks
