AndyR Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 Often times when client calls in they don't know their computer name. We would like to see the currently logged in user right in the dashboard to identify the correct computer. Paul and DonatoM3 2
AndyR Posted September 19, 2020 Author Posted September 19, 2020 Bumping this ticket. I can't believe that's not an option yet. Still looking to see the currently active user in the dashboard to track down devices. DonatoM3 1
WYE Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Agreed, it would be useful. Was one of the first things I wanted when i signed up. However, this script met my needs just fine after a couple of tweaks  - credit to eDecisions and Continu IT Solutions Â
NovaComputers Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 This simple feature request has been asked for years since I've been with Pulseway and is completely ignore, every year. I wouldn't hold my breath on this. I have to manually add the username manually on each computer in order to be identify who is sitting on that workstation but then it started becoming a problem when the business switch computers or the user move to another computer. Then you have to repeat the process again. Sometimes I have occasion where the user just move temporarily into another computer and ask for support and then you don't know where that user is sitting because the name doesn't match. I know this can be possible by Pulseway, they just don't want to do it because when you click on the computer and click on Users, it tells you who is current login, but when you have 50 computers you have to click one at a time in order to find the user that called.Â
Key1or2 Posted January 22, 2021 Posted January 22, 2021 I agree completely. Other platforms do this - Pulseway should add Domain\Username to the Systems overview.
NovaComputers Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 We are in 2022 and this simple request still not available. DonatoM3 1
