NathanB got a reaction from BartB in Asset info visible for offline systems
Not being able to spot simple data for offline systems is a huge pain the backside. I cannot fathom why this is such a hard change to make, just have offline systems display the same data as the online ones and put an alert or notification icon on it/make it red/fade out the details.

How is this fairly rudimentary option not already working? OP was near 3 years back now.

Instead of performing necromancy on this older thread, I will raise this question again. Why can we not see asset info for offline systems?
I know this is available through reports, but that's a ton of steps to go through when it's already readily available offline (since the Reports can search it) and it should just be visible. This has been a big gotcha (along with not seeing internal IPs without running a report or being able to copy/paste in remote sessions) as we moved from another tool to Pulseway. I've seen more than one thread about this, and each time the response is 'run a report'. Please stop brushing it off as 'RTFM' and provide the functionality we're asking for. Thank you.

I know that information is available from the reports - but have you seen how cumbersome it is to run a report and see the results?
    1. Click Reporting
    2. Click Templates
    3. Click Asset overview
    4. Mouseover the report you want and find the Run button to click
    5. Confirm Yes in the dialogue box that says 'are you sure you want to run the report?'
    6. Click OK in the 'It's done' dialogue box
    7. Click the eye icon on that report
    8. Click the eye on the report instance that has been created
    9. Click the view tab
    10. search for your asset name in the report

And all that to see data an engineer just wants to be able to see when they are navigating Groups/Systems wanting to see what brand the machine they are looking for is or how much RAM it has?
A task they might do 10 times a day, or double/triple that?

It's not pulled live, it is available from reports, just not the normal Groups/Systems way of browsing machines
    100% agree Andrew T
Not only should this information be available when the machines are offline, we should also be able to build a view in the RMM like we can the PSA - so that we can see and make our own view of the assets with columns for RAM, brand, user etc
At the moment if I am in the RMM looking for the machine that John Doe uses, or all those with less than 8GB RAM, there appears no way to do it without the 10 step process to run a report as described above.
If I'm wrong please please let me know!
    Cheers

That's more or less right. We'd still need transparency, and some kept record for posterity and investigation, but we'd rather not be awoken middle of the night by production server alerts that aren't actually an issue :P

Hoping someone can help me find the right config option!
When a server goes offline, Pulseway generates an "Offline" notification for the server being in an offline status.
I need that alert to automatically clear if the server now online. Our Admin team is getting really frustrated with a constant bombard of app notifications when nothing is wrong, or has self-resolved

    Hi @NathanB,
Please note, that this functionality will no longer work after we will upgrade Pulseway to the version 6.0. In version 6.0 all your monitored systems will be owned by the server and server will no longer trust any changes which are maid on the system in regards of the change of the group name. If the system is known to the server, then server will overwrite all the changes which are made on the agent. In order to move the system from one group to another you will need to use the Pulseway WebApp -> Server Admin -> Configuration section.
Or for the Free accounts Systems -> Configuration section.

2FA should be a minimum sign in requirement and an administrator should be able to FORCE all users to use 2FA
Another option for 2FA would be to build it into the Pulseway App as a push notification which would allow usme to accept or deny the access, this is the same process used by Microsoft and requires a Fingerprint or Passcode on the mobile device which is independent of Pulseway.
This should be at the top of the development list and treated as a priority development.

    Hey everyone,
We've released an agent update that will remove the icon unless the User Support Request feature is turned on.
