  1. If you are getting this when installing check that Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 Full is installed correctly on your computer. There is no missing DLL in the PC Monitor installation package.

  2. You can monitor the SQL Server using the performance counters page - you simply add the SQL counters you want to be monitored.

As well, you can define rules based on various SQL counters and get notified when the rule condition is true.

  3. Hi Chris,

Glad you find PC Monitor solution useful.

    To answer your questions:

    1. We will consider making this an option - at the moment you have to delete them as some notifications will not be sent again if not deleted (and the condition that triggered the notification still persist). In other words, if you read the notification that does not mean that the condition that caused the notification has been rectified and we think leaving the alert image is good.

    2. We plan to add remote control in a future release.

    3. Windows 2000 is not supported at the moment (we might consider this by writing a plugin).

    Best Regards,

    Marius

  4. Thanks for the details, can you please enable the Diagnostic Logging in PC Monitor Manager -> Settings? After you have enabled this please apply the settings, start the service and send us the trace.log file from the PC Monitor installation folder. Thanks for your help.

  5. First, check your computer date/time. Then start PC Monitor Manager and press the "Validate Account" button, does your account validates correctly?

If so please enable diagnostic logging in PC Monitor Manager -> Settings -> Diagnostics, start the PC Monitor service again and after a few minutes send us the trace.log file from the PC Monitor install folder.
